I come to this app to watch people talk about and enjoy the things they enjoy. Instead I have 20, 30 second ads thrown in my face every 10 minutes YouTube is better, kick is better. Do not recommend.

This app is insane. I haven’t been paying attention the last years, and Wow. I came to watch some gamers and whatever. Domme mommy’s and people supporting actual terrorism was the first things I saw. With girls telling guys they at losers, and to give them their tax refunds. And Hasan Piker saying to commit ___ against ___ and all comments filtered so no one can hear any opposing viewpoints. Why do you ban some creators for something most people agree with, but not others who are clearly breaking TOS? It’s weird and a problem.

The app doesn’t even play videos anymore fulky and constantly buffers no matter where Im at. My service is great and all my other video apps and youtube streams seamlessly. I restarted my phone, redownloaded the app and nothing. It only works on PC for me now.

Twitch intentionally throttle data streaming if you do not have Wi-Fi. So even watching on 480P, which is horrible to look at it’s still lags.
I can stream any streaming service except twitch with my phone data so I know it’s not a data problem. It’s a Twitch and Amazon problem.

Ads Ruined an Important Live Competition Moment
I am giving Twitch 1 star because ads ruined an important moment for my family.
I was watching an EA Sports competition where my son played Mario Kart. At the worst moments, long ads started playing. When my son’s team won and received the winner’s belt, the stream cut to ads again.
I understand ads are part of the platform, but during live competitions, the timing should be handled much better. This was very disappointing.

The overall credibility and reputation of this platform is laughable. I literally just deleted the app because they champion BDSM fetish content from washed adult video “stars”. The CEO is a creep and I’m inclined to ask if his hard drive needs to be checked. Reminder that kids and teenagers are the demographic here yet they champion degenerate porn stars named Morgpie all over the main page. What is wrong with people and society. The problem with Twitch is most of the streamers you will find on the platform are women promoting their content for a different social media platform on Twitch. Twitch is no longer what it used to be years ago, you now have to swim through an ocean of onlyfans creators just to find one decent streamer.

Yeah I forgot my password and it’s a whole mess, it won’t send to my email even though it sent me an email of my username, then after many attempts it shuts me out. So I try my phone number instead and it says to enter a valid phone number ?!?! So I give up on that and try to create a new account using my phone number and now it says the phone number is already on file and can’t be used sooooo make it make sense until then It’s just a broken useless app taking up space on my phone

Their feature to copy tiktok by forcing you onto the live page instead of following, something they previously had a toggle option for, as well as launching you straight into a tiktok like feed is just abysmal.
