When I was just normally talking to my friend, it was normal right? Then I shut my phone off. I talked to him for a little bit more. I opened it back up and do you wanna know what I see? Copied and pasted conversation of me and my friend. I didn’t even touch the keyboard or anything it just spy on me friend so yeah that’s why I’m giving this one star, it’s creepy as heck!

Doesn’t work
The idea behind this app is great, but the execution was completely unreliable for me. I gave the keyboard full access, microphone permission, and every setting it asked for. The app clearly showed that it was listening to me, but when I hit the button to transcribe/insert the text, nothing happened. No transcription, no error message, no useful feedback - just nothing.
That is especially frustrating because the whole point of a voice keyboard is speed and convenience. If I have to open the main app every time, switch back and forth, or babysit the process just to maybe get a transcription, then it defeats the purpose. Native iOS dictation may be less polished, but at least it actually puts words into the text field.
This app could be useful if the keyboard extension becomes reliable, but right now it feels buggy and unfinished. A voice keyboard needs to do one thing consistently: listen, transcribe, and insert the text. In my experience, it failed at the most important step.

Avoid This App - Completely Useless Input Method
This is a terrible app. The keyboard (input method) forces you to log in just to use it, but no matter which method I tried - Google, Email, or Apple ID - none of them worked. The network service is horribly unreliable, and the app is filled with tons of suspicious ad request links in the background.
I really don’t understand what the developers were thinking. A basic keyboard shouldn’t be this frustrating and intrusive. Total garbage. Do not download.

The transcription quality has significantly declined.
It was working very well before, but the transcription quality has significantly declined over the past week or two.
Basically, every sentence contains numerous errors now, making it impossible to use properly.

Censorious
App censors speech. The use of words that describe actions that certain governments are committing that certain people take offense to return an error message that results in your words not being transcribed. Completely useless tool. I was willing to pay for it, but I keep my money and use my perfectly adequate thumbs.
Tutorial
Why in the world is the tutorial required and there is a bug when it wants you to add coffee to the shopping list it just create another sentence saying add coffee to the shopping list so I can never pass a tutorial making it impossible for me to use typeless plz make it optional
The price is surprising.
I have never seen an input method that costs this much per year.So it expired, and I just stopped using it.

Not clear on how to upgrade
I like it so much on my iPhone that I ran out of free words for the week. The upgrade button shows up but it’s confusing on how to upgrade. So I went and bought a year subscription on the website using my gmail account ( I suppose I should have used my Apple account) but I also want to use it on my windows. So, here I am. Paid 144 for something I can’t use on my iPhone.

Invasive Mic Usage
The app perpetually uses your mic when it’s open. It doesn’t work in the background at all. The actual function of the app is great but I could not tolerate it constantly having my mic on.

Don’t use, impedes on free speech
I ended up switching back to Apple’s version. I was making comments about a boomer, sucking the life out of our country and that impeded on their safety rules. Make that make sense. It was a really cool solution. I enjoyed using it, but after the last couple updates they put so many safeguards on this that it’s worth worthless unless you fit the the woke narrative and only say things against Christians or white males then you don’t have anything to worry about.

Google Ai Edge Eloquent is soon to release a keyboard extension… plus it’s free.
Meanwhile, Typeless & WisprFlow ea expect an exorbitant $144/yr.

Super awesome technology but, unfortunately annoying to use
If all I used my iPhone for was transcribing things from my voice into text, then this would be a really great solution.
But for the enjoyer of other apps on your phone, you're going to have to spend a decent chunk of your day swiping to and from this app (since it opens every time you try to use the keyboard). You have to go back to the app you're typing in and then look at the Dynamic Island widget -which this app has not-so-humbly plastered its logo right on - to let you know that it is using its microphone access continually, even when you're not typing anything at all. Just doesn’t feel good.
To really make this a fair shot, I wrote most of this with the Typeless keyboard. But the main weak point is any kind of punctuation, like adding those parentheses, or if you need to change the middle of a sentence. It especially struggles with things like going between "2 with one 0" and "2 with two 0s." (<- case in point)
It is possible to really elaborately explain exactly which characters you want to see in which order, and it can do that from what I've seen, but it sucks for editing. That's really where the whole time-saving claim pretty much falls apart.
It's a fun exercise, though. Maybe if I needed to rapidly get thoughts textified as I had them, this could possibly make sense, but I don't think paying for this service is really justifiable for the average user (especially just to have to juggle your apps every time you want to type anything).

Works fine, but microphone stays on
The app works fine, but the microphone stays on even when not using the keyboard. On the Dynamic Island, it shows the microphone is still on! There’s no way around it? Please fix this!

I have been using the app ever since it came out for Android and have been enjoying it immensely. Now I'm using it across all my media, and I just got a three-month subscription. I absolutely love this app.

Great app, questionable active listening selections
I'm writing this review using Typeless. However, I'm not happy with one specific function. The developer hasn't provided enough options to turn off the active listening feature. There are only three selections for when the app becomes inactive:
1. Never
2. 5 minutes
3. 20 minutes
Without the ability to turn it off manually, the yellow dot (indicating the microphone is on) is always there. This means the app is actively listening, which I do not feel comfortable with.
I think it's a great app, but until the developer fixes this, it's a concern. The microphone should be turned off immediately after I finish talking or after I tap "finished."
