Censorious
App censors speech. The use of words that describe actions that certain governments are committing that certain people take offense to return an error message that results in your words not being transcribed. Completely useless tool. I was willing to pay for it, but I keep my money and use my perfectly adequate thumbs.
Tutorial
Why in the world is the tutorial required and there is a bug when it wants you to add coffee to the shopping list it just create another sentence saying add coffee to the shopping list so I can never pass a tutorial making it impossible for me to use typeless plz make it optional
The price is surprising.
I have never seen an input method that costs this much per year.So it expired, and I just stopped using it.

Not clear on how to upgrade
I like it so much on my iPhone that I ran out of free words for the week. The upgrade button shows up but it’s confusing on how to upgrade. So I went and bought a year subscription on the website using my gmail account ( I suppose I should have used my Apple account) but I also want to use it on my windows. So, here I am. Paid 144 for something I can’t use on my iPhone.

Invasive Mic Usage
The app perpetually uses your mic when it’s open. It doesn’t work in the background at all. The actual function of the app is great but I could not tolerate it constantly having my mic on.

The latest version is terrible. It is very difficult to use and extremely prone to operational errors.
Don’t use, impedes on free speech
I ended up switching back to Apple’s version. I was making comments about a boomer, sucking the life out of our country and that impeded on their safety rules. Make that make sense. It was a really cool solution. I enjoyed using it, but after the last couple updates they put so many safeguards on this that it’s worth worthless unless you fit the the woke narrative and only say things against Christians or white males then you don’t have anything to worry about.

Super awesome technology but, unfortunately annoying to use
If all I used my iPhone for was transcribing things from my voice into text, then this would be a really great solution.
But for the enjoyer of other apps on your phone, you're going to have to spend a decent chunk of your day swiping to and from this app (since it opens every time you try to use the keyboard). You have to go back to the app you're typing in and then look at the Dynamic Island widget -which this app has not-so-humbly plastered its logo right on - to let you know that it is using its microphone access continually, even when you're not typing anything at all. Just doesn’t feel good.
To really make this a fair shot, I wrote most of this with the Typeless keyboard. But the main weak point is any kind of punctuation, like adding those parentheses, or if you need to change the middle of a sentence. It especially struggles with things like going between "2 with one 0" and "2 with two 0s." (<- case in point)
It is possible to really elaborately explain exactly which characters you want to see in which order, and it can do that from what I've seen, but it sucks for editing. That's really where the whole time-saving claim pretty much falls apart.
It's a fun exercise, though. Maybe if I needed to rapidly get thoughts textified as I had them, this could possibly make sense, but I don't think paying for this service is really justifiable for the average user (especially just to have to juggle your apps every time you want to type anything).

Great app, questionable active listening selections
I'm writing this review using Typeless. However, I'm not happy with one specific function. The developer hasn't provided enough options to turn off the active listening feature. There are only three selections for when the app becomes inactive:
1. Never
2. 5 minutes
3. 20 minutes
Without the ability to turn it off manually, the yellow dot (indicating the microphone is on) is always there. This means the app is actively listening, which I do not feel comfortable with.
I think it's a great app, but until the developer fixes this, it's a concern. The microphone should be turned off immediately after I finish talking or after I tap "finished."
