Drivers and restaurants should consider cutting out the middle man.
Choose DoorDash instead.
Took 2 hours for chicken tenders which arrived 5 minutes before midnight. The worst customer service imaginable with no real communication. It claims to be connecting to a live agent but seems more like AI and only answering with generic prefabricated responses.

Horrible value
Artificially elevated prices in-app compared to purchasing in a store - as in, the price of the meal itself, not the listed fees or delivery fee. So the food is around twice as expensive as walking into a restaurant or fast food place and purchasing. And then the delivery fee adds another huge cost on top of that. What would be about a $10 order if walking into a fast food restaurant is $27 in the app, and won’t be delivered for 30 minutes to an hour.

No notification of cancelled order
Never notified me my order was cancelled - only found out at the time my food was to be delivered. And the reason why? Because one item I ordered wasn’t available. Complete and utter nonsense

Will take an hour to get your food that’s 15mins from your house and have the driver pick up and drop off multiple orders so by the time you receive your older it’s ice cold. Thanks Uber Eats!
False advertising of delivery time
They will advertise a 45 minute delivery time and deliver it in 1 hour and 45 minutes and still collect their service and delivery fees. Absolutely no recourse through support. Classic bait and switch.
Terrible customer service
One time I ordered online and they completely messed up my order and refused to do anything about it. I tried to go to customer service and they refuse to do anything about it and I tried to go higher, but they told me there wasn’t anyone higher and it was just a whole mess and I still never got my money back so! 1/10

I ordered groceries on here and I was charge $60 well I change my edit my order and it costs me like $70 but they never put it up in the delivery status and on my bank account I paid $70 and $60 which is BSS.

Accessibility
The GPS is so faulty right now. That they cannot get a precise location on drop off, entrance point and parking point. And I have to call and text the drivers that I’m in a different location plus this is happening more frequently every day.
Hot food NOT guaranteed
This company is OK having cold food delivered to your home with no remorse for the customer. As a delivery service, you would think getting ready-to-eat food delivered to your location should be expected… but NO. It can arrive cold and they’ll slap you with a saved reply and quickly end your chat with them. I recommend ordering directly from the restaurant who will take more responsibility over the product they’re serving than this company will. If they didn’t over work the drivers with multiple orders, they could probably deliver the food faster instead of having sit in their car for 30 minutes while everyone else’s food gets delivered.
Drivers can’t seem to actually deliver food.
In the past two weeks, our orders have been stolen. The first time, we ordered Taco Bell. The driver took longer than usual to actually arrive at the house, then I went outside to grab the food once the app said it’d been delivered and I heard a car door shut. I go outside- no food. I walk up and down the street at 1 am to realize this driver DROVE TO MY HOUSE and left with my food. Got a refund. A little less than a week later, a driver is arguing with me about our address and saying it’s too far (our address isn’t able to be put in Uber Eats, so we did the closet nearby and let the driver know in advance. The two are 5 minutes apart.) For 10 minutes, instructions are given to the driver. She then drives to our house so the deliver appears as complete- no food. Our food is stolen again. Got a refund, but not without fighting for the tip back that was paid in advance! It’s completely unacceptable and embarrassing that this app cannot seem to find drivers that will actually do their job- delivering the food.

Absolute garbage customer service these days. Instead of help someone who pays monthly for a consumer convenience service, their customer service prefers to point their finger. I asked for someone who could help resolve & received a copy paste response that they’re unable to help prior to their representative ending the chat. This used to be a great service. I’d love a response from management to see if they read feedback & more importantly, actually care

This app doesn’t help to resolve any issues related to drivers. My food was stolen tonight 2 times and so was my money I’m never using this app and neither will me family
Price gouging
Your company hikes prices up for no reason, always has additional fees, your app sucks and doesn’t provide utensil selections for people that order and on receipts you show I didn’t select an option that wasn’t there. Customer service is nowhere to be found. Your company provides no support for its lack of information or messed up orders… should I continue with how big of a scam your company is?
Overpriced
Uber is getting out of hand with charging 25 percent service fees and using an algorithm to create delivery fees. I order food that comes up to $22 and with fees it comes to $34. That’s ridiculous. Charging a $3.99 delivery fee for a Chinese food takeout spot that is located less than 10 mins away driving is actually robbery and disgusting. You should be ashamed.
When your order goes wrong, you can no longer reach anyone
When your order is wrong or some issue comes up, you will not be able to reach support. Just a chat with a timer that gives you false hope of reaching g a real human person.

Never delivered!
Never received my order I spoke with the chat help. They were no help at all. Told me I wasn’t eligible for refund and somebody would get back to me within 6 to 12 hours. Unacceptable.
Won’t process any transactions.
Been trying to process transactions for a while now and I keep getting the same error message to try again even though each card I use has money on it.

When a driver accepts your order, if he gets to the spot you ordered from they shouldn’t be allowed to end it now I have to wait a hour to get food from a place 15 minutes away from me. This is bs

They do not care about human feelings, I literally cried tears after speaking with customer service due to being treated poorly. They are hiring people that have attitudes at 8am in the morning. It’s disgusting to think someone got paid for ruining my day. I had no way of contacting anyone about how I was treated. I was in contact with 3 different customer service agents about the issue I was having Sonia, Steven, and Dilip, neither of them addressed the issue I was having. they kept repeating the same thing over and over and over as if I’m unable to comprehend without giving me an opportunity to respond they dismissed me like my issue was nothing like my feelings mean nothing. If multiple people are having problems with their customer service the company overall is the problem they don’t have any care at all what your problem is, everyone is there for a paycheck, with minimal work or for not even doing the job at all. Uber Eats you NEED to work on your customer service!!!!!
REFUND DENIED
I had a promotion that wouldn’t work and i called support to help and they asked to recreate the problem to screenshot but as I do it accidentally placed the order without the promotion and they will not refund me any of the money and the order was cancelled so I didn’t receive any of the food the order was placed for. Customer support is useless and had just robbed me of my money.

They have a 3.00 minimum and 14 max service fee which I think is outrageous. They have slowly been raising delivery fee while also adding in “long range” fee when the place is less than 10 minutes away. Uber Eats has to do been better not to mention there horrible customer service I cannot speak to a human being!!

Used for years until today.
Used this app for years, spent hundreds - thousands of dollars. Yesterday i ordered groceries with a coupon promotion making the total $41 +$3 tip. The courier CHOSE not to continue looking for 6 of the items and to “refund them” instead. I received ZERO refund for those items, instead, my total was retroactively changed from $41 to $55 since i no longer met the criteria for the coupon. Meaning i got punished twice over for something i had literally no control over. and the cherry on top? i spoke to customer service agent named Sam who was extremely dismissive and rude, flat out refused to acknowledge my situation at all and closed the chat marking my issue as resolved. I guess this is how Uber treats its long term customers, your courier didn’t want to do their job? have fun getting less food for more money. I’ve been an UberOne subscriber for years too, that all stops today. Absurd how you can treat your loyal customers like this
Terrible User Support - You are better off with doordash
I’m going to save you the details, just use doordash. Uber support sucks every single time, and uber one saves you pretty much 0$ because they cover the difference you save in “taxes”

The absolute worst food delivery app out there
They have no way of making sure your order is fulfilled. When it is not fulfilled you are still responsible to pay unless you are patient enough to wait the full 2 hours to see if your order is delivered. Oh you want to call someone about it? Yea impossible, you will get a useless AI chat bot that only has predetermined options that will not answer your question what so ever. They have horrible customer service, the food is almost always cold and you will pay about $50 for Taco Bell for 2. So you be the judge… is it really worth not driving to the restaurant?
Horrible support access
I had an order get stolen, and wasn’t informed until an HOUR later. I would have been okay with credit to my account but I was never given the option and I had to jump through hoops to contact support that wasn’t AI. Rep had a horrible attitude and wasn’t able to come up with any solution. I hate you Uber Eats, deleting my account right now.

I ordered 2 Buy 1 Get 1 Free Rice Platters from Naz's Halal. Simple math: 2 BOGO deals = 4 plates. I received 2. Uber Eats took my money and shorted me half my food.
I contacted support THREE times. Three agents. Zero solutions. One agent, Clifford, literally ended the chat on me while my issue was still unresolved. Another agent had the audacity to tell me to "make this a lesson." A LESSON. I am a paying customer, not a child.
They then tried to blame a "policy change" but couldn't prove they ever notified me. And when I followed their new instructions, the total came out to $90 for 4 plates when ordering normally would cost $55. So their BOGO deal now costs MORE than full price. Let that sink in.

Delivery fees are ridiculous. My last one was $16.99. And delivery times take twice as long as DoorDash. DoorDash is way better.

Terrible experience. The delivery driver left my order at a random location that was not my address, and the photo they provided didn’t even help identify where it was. I never received my order. Customer support told me to go find it myself, which I did-but it was nowhere to be found. On top of that, they refused any refund or compensation and held me fully responsible. Completely unacceptable. I will not be using this service again.
Uber Eats is terrible
Long story short, the restaurant did not close their account and have their account open to receive orders. 2 hours later and 4 uber drivers canceled, one had the decency to tell me that the restaurant is not taking uber orders. Uber Eats customer service is a joke. No one is willing to assist and they close the chat so you can start over with another joker. Waste of time and you are just a number to them. Worst experience ever. No number to call, no manager to speak with. Hate Uber Eats, don’t waste your time downloading this garbage of an app. I would give a negative 5 stars if I could.
