Customer Service
Customer service is non existent. They tell you they’ll contact you within a certain time frame 6-12 hours and in fact they will not. So when you contact them again to get an update, they begin being rude af.

No recomiendo
No recomiendo esta aplicación para trabajar como conductor.
Después de mucho tiempo utilizándola, considero que las condiciones para los conductores son cada vez peores. Es un trabajo que requiere máxima concentración, largas jornadas y asumir riesgos en la carretera, pero la compensación económica no refleja esa responsabilidad. En muchos días hay que trabajar 12 horas o más para obtener ingresos que antes se conseguían en mucho menos tiempo.
Otro problema es que la plataforma parece favorecer siempre al pasajero. Hay usuarios que pueden hacer reportes falsos por enojo, racismo, clasismo o simplemente porque tuvieron un mal día. En muchas ocasiones esos reportes afectan al conductor sin que exista una investigación clara ni la oportunidad de defenderse.
También considero injustas las penalizaciones por cancelar ciertos viajes. Hay solicitudes que simplemente no convienen o presentan problemas, y aun así el conductor puede terminar perdiendo dinero. Mientras tanto, cuando un pasajero cancela antes de ser recogido, muchas veces el conductor no recibe una compensación equivalente por el tiempo perdido.
Uno de los aspectos más preocupantes es la falta de transparencia cuando una cuenta es desactivada. Hay conductores que invierten años en la plataforma y, de un día para otro, son bloqueados sin recibir una explicación clara ni pruebas que justifiquen la decisión. Perder la única fuente de ingresos de esa manera genera una enorme incertidumbre.
Además, la comisión que retiene la plataforma suele parecer excesiva. En muchas ocasiones el pasajero paga una cantidad mucho mayor de la que finalmente recibe el conductor, lo que deja la sensación de que el reparto de ingresos no es justo.
Ser conductor no es solo manejar. También implica soportar pasajeros irrespetuosos, personas agresivas, maleducadas o que simplemente no valoran el trabajo de quien los transporta. Todo ese estrés debería verse reflejado en una mejor remuneración y en un mayor respaldo por parte de la empresa.
Mi recomendación es que, antes de decidir trabajar aquí, investiguen bien las condiciones actuales y comparen con otras alternativas. En mi experiencia, esta plataforma ha empeorado con el paso del tiempo y hoy no la considero una buena opción para ganarse la vida.

Algorithm scam
Uber is an interesting thing in Massachusetts because they have to guarantee their drivers that when they have a passenger they’ll make at least $36 an hour. To offset this charge to Uber they are now pressuring and tricking their customers into giving very high tips to their drivers.. well there’s nothing wrong with the passenger getting prompted to provide a tip to the driver, there is a problem with the way in which The customer is tricked into providing tips on the touchscreen. you immediately have a pop-up while you’re booking another ride or attempting to open the app a pop-up a prompt up that asked you to give a five star review or tip your driver. Often times when you’re in the middle of something pop-up comes up, you just want to go away so you hit a button for muscle memory that makes the screen minimise or close. Uber knows this and there pop-up automatically has a 20% tip in most cases preloaded and a choice to choose one or five stars for the service received and then there’s a skip button up in the right hand corner. I have seen this pop-up in many different ways one of which will have the high tip already loaded in the five stars already loaded in and then where you think Skip is you’ll actually hit okay or submit there’s no way to undo it. There was a time where I tipped my last 10 bucks to a driver that the tip was almost the same amount as the ride itself and there was really nothing spectacular about the Service or the driver. I wouldn’t have tipped them in anything let alone an enormous one no offense and they are doing this so the customer can ship into that $36 an hour guaranteed for that driver. I’ve also noticed a pattern in which if you do tip you get your next rides quicker than if you didn’t. In other words if you hit no tip or skip or you give five stars but no cash tip the next time you book a ride you’re gonna get The we’ll have a driver for you within the next 10 minutes. Will update you when you have a driver. There’s plenty of Uber drivers around more Uber drivers in there are passengers in Boston so when you do tip the next time you book a ride you’ll have a ride within a minute, so there’s a certain algorithm going on right now where Uber is trying to pass on the expense of the law in Massachusetts where they must make a minute mandatory minimum 36 an hour while they have a passenger an Uber is kind enough to pass that on to you. Remind you if you have a rotten driver who literally takes you off course drop you off someplace nowhere near where you want to go is rude hostile unfriendly doesn’t listen to direction they won’t give you a penny back for a refund however they will trick you and use technical glitches to force you into chipping in to the mandated $36 an hour that they are required to be compensated just something interesting to keep an eye on folks a little bit too big for that is quite the monopoly. Their only competition is Lyft which I swear is run by slacker college kids who improve it when they get around to it but in any event ride safely

Gross!!!! Very low standards.
Uber has gone downhill. The quality is nowhere near what it used to be. Too many vehicles are dirty, have unpleasant odors, or are filled with overpowering air fresheners, perfumes, and colognes that make the ride uncomfortable. On top of that, I’ve experienced rude drivers, and the overall service has become inconsistent. If I’m spending hundreds of dollars a month on rides, I expect a clean, well-maintained vehicle and a professional experience. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been my experience.
What’s even more disappointing is that Uber built its reputation by offering a better alternative to traditional taxis. You’d think that after disrupting the taxi industry, they would have continued raising the bar. Instead, they’re repeating many of the same mistakes that made people stop using cabs in the first place. The service has declined so much that, in many cases, I’d honestly rather walk than pay for another disappointing ride. I can’t recommend Uber anymore.

Worst ever so far
This morning my reserved Uber ride did not show. I had to request a ride and said plenty drivers. Just be patient for whatever the messages and I’m full occasions. It just dropped me 640 was my reserve dried. I think I finally got in an Uber at 7:17 and I had to upgrade to Uber Black for anybody to accept my ride almost 40 minutes after the ride share reserve ride which was confirmed with driver allocated didn’t show up 40 minutes later I finally managed to get my ride and it seems like I still made my flight, but it was close. Thanks.

talk about highway robbery prices are $10 to $15 higher then they normally are let me guess corporate Uber greed trying to cash in on the soccer games go figure. Daily commute
The app changes my destination during my commute to take me to my old office. I’ve complained and re-downloaded the app (as advised) and still no changes. The commute hub needs to be updated. You should be able to delete previous routes.

i reported a violent sexual assault incident that occurred in an uber where i was severely injured and provided video evidence and an eyewitness, and not only did they protect the driver but they also refused to investigate, falsified the report, punished me for reporting the incident, provided no explanation and if that wasn’t upsetting enough, uber support made me feel extremely ashamed for being a victim in the first place. they asked me on multiple occasions what i did to “turn on” the driver. they do not care about the safety of passengers or drivers. they are just a platform for profit and they do not take violence seriously in any way, shape, or form.

HORRIBLE Customer Service
I’ve had UberOne for years, it ended last week and I will not be renewing. They make it impossible to talk to a real human being, I don’t want to talk to an AI chat bot when something goes wrong, or to continue to pay for items that I never receive or for cold food.
I don’t drive and travel for a living and used to use Uber multiple times a month. I’ll be switching to Lyft immediately, I’m no longer comfortable giving Uber my money if they can’t be counted on to rectify situations properly. They obviously don’t care.

Unfortunate situation
Hey everyone so I’ve been useing uber for years now and I’ve had my fair share of long wait times and rude drivers but today was a tipping point I had ordered and uber to get to my store thats less than a mile away to get groceries however the first driver that I got was 23 mins away so I decided to get another driver unfortunately this one was 20 mins away so I just cancel, you might be wondering why didn’t I just walk. To which I will answer that it was pouring outside and have preferred not to get wet and soaked aswell as my food getting wet, not entirely going to pin the blame on uber bc they can’t control there drivers they hire completely however I feel as if u should get a driver close by thays less than 23 to 20 mins if your destination is a mile away as to make the wait time less, sorry for the long paragraph I just need to vent my frustrations with uber I’ve had over the years I hope people see this and understand what they might run into when they first download the app

Price hike
I know gas has gone up, but not enough to justify this increase. A ride that cost me $9 a month ago just cost me $16. I’ll be finding other means. Uber is taking advantage at the wrong time. And I know it’s not going to the drivers. Despicable.
