Terrible support
Twice now I’ve had my address just totally changed inside the app and then I’m charged a different price. Then I have to update the address while I’m in the car and I get charged a new price. Of course there’s nobody to contact, nobody to speak to. Everything is done through the AI chat on the Uber app, which never understands the problem. Uber’s customer support is terrible. Their app is glitchy. I can’t wait for better alternatives to come up.

Reported and locked
I don’t use Uber much, mostly when I travel. I report a driver three weeks ago and my account got blocked! I contact the support more than three times and no one respond. This is very bad, I am the one who is reporting and I got locked, no problem but why the support don’t answer for many times. En 2 ocasiones, al usar la aplicación me han hecho cargos de esta app, la última ves, pude hacer la aclaración en mi banco y eliminaron la mayoría de los cobros. Deje de usar la app por lo mismo y eliminaron día de hoy que la necesite , primero tuve que pagar unos supuestos saldo que tenía, como necesite el servicio, no me quedó opción más que cubrir los importen sin que yo hubiese usado el servicio.

I had a driver who just did not care and was gaming the system. Delivered to the wrong place they couldn’t possibly be mistaken for my apt. They have run me around for a refund and if it’s not an AI, it’s a hostile off shore worker who is holding on to your money tighter than Fort Knox. I’ve even gone to BBB. I just deleted my account. Taxis for me from now on.

Order stolen
My order was stolen. Then Uber told me I was going to get charged $20 just to cancel my order AFTER I told them it was already stolen. The live agent ended the chat before I could reply. I used to be a member, but I’ve decided to cancel my membership with them after this.

Unfair

Change The Voucher System
If you have a voucher that covers your ride, you should not have to have that money on a seperate payment method for it to work. What is the point of having "vouchers" if you cannot use them when someone sends them and you have no money. Thanks! Absolutely ridiculous!!! Also, while I'm here dont add a nickname option if every single name put in is taken!!!

Why
So whenever I put down a ping location and then changes said ping location so that it’s all the way across to a different location then I have to walk about 20 to 25 minutes text them so that they hopefully wait for me and then sometimes get completely canceled on then have to wait one hour for a representative then pay my Money money again to get the same Uber how long has this been out and it still can’t work properly

Extremely Frustrated and Disappointed
Uber has revoked my access to using my account on the app to request any type of service due to my bank winning a dispute for a ride that was not only reported to ADT through the option in the app (due to the driver quite literally backing up in a heavy traffic lane that’s 45mph and cars were behind us, just so he could get back to my complex entrance that he missed), but the ride was incomplete because the ADT agent suggested I exit the vehicle as soon as it was safe to do so because the driver was putting me in danger. The agent witnessed my ride end early and I was NOT taken to the destination I paid to be taken to due to my safety concerns, so I had to walk the rest of the way home. The ADT agent then sent me links to file a complaint with uber and to get my ride refunded. After chatting them all the evidence, including screenshots of my conversation with ADT and the part where they sent me a link for refund, uber expressed no care or concern for my wellbeing or for the fact the driver performed extremely dangerous and illegal driving maneuvers that caused me distress. Then, they proceeded to say the ride would not be eligible for a refund. I continued to ask for an explanation as to why they were denying the refund despite the irrefutable evidence I had presented that the ride was not completed so I wasn’t taken to the destination I paid to be taken to, but also I had an entire report with ADT, which is the safety option offered through the uber app. Uber ignored me and gave me no explanation as to why they were not honoring the refund nor did they address that I had even needed to reach out to ADT, which no rider should have to do. This whole experience was not right, and because they refused to help or explain anything, I had no choice but to go to my bank. I’m sorry, but if any employee from uber had been in this car and experienced what I did, they wouldn’t be paying for the ride either. I don’t know why uber has decided to go after me for the measly $21.02 when every month I spend nearly $1000 using this app to get to and from my job. They have forced me to pursue legal action, I am looking into arbitration and I have already filed a complaint with the better business bureau and included all the photo evidence I have, which encompasses the report with ADT that proves I was in danger and reached out for help, proved I was offered a refund due to the issue of safety and ride being incomplete, and then I included screenshots of the uber chat lying to me and repeating the same things over and over instead of actually addressing my questions and concerns. I hope uber feels proud that they chose me to punish when I’ve never done a single thing to cause trouble as a rider. This whole incident happened because THEIR driver decided to be dangerous and scary, and my bank did the right thing by getting my money back.

Horrible Customer Service
Uber customer service is terrible. I am not sure if I am dealing with the worlds worst AI chat bots or the worlds dumbest humans. I can’t get anyone to actually look in to my account issues. I am constantly asked to log in to my locked account to unlock it or to chat with support which is clearly impossible as long as my account is locked. Any time I reach out to customer service and explain i can’t log in they say they understand and that I should just log in to my account to fix this… When I get emails the emails say “respond to this email to continue the chat” and I respond and have never heard back. Dozens of times this happened. If they had competent customer service this could have been resolved in 10 minutes but I’m sure they have spent hours responding to my requests with the same nonsensical response that isn’t helpful. Customer service like this is not just frustrating for the customer but it wastes time of uber employees each time they have to respond to me. It’s completely irresponsible to have customer service this poor. Even if I get my account back I will never EVER use uber again unless it’s the only option.

I’ve been using uber for 2 years, and I feel like the more time I have using it, the worse it gets. The prices are crazy, it takes for ever to find me a driver and it always sent the longest route. I’m actually so mad because it is not fair for an user that has been using the app for too long to get less priority. It’s getting more and more vague every time.

It’s very unreliable outside of the inner city
On a regular basis I’ve tried to used from an end station in the DC metro system. They will say a driver is on the way when the driver has not accepted my pick-up. This causes me to wait on someone who is not actually coming. When that driver cancels they will tell me they will find me another driver, although it may take longer. In short I am constantly penalized and delayed, while the price remains the same. Very hit or miss. If you have any other means I would tryingly suggest it. Not to mention the prices can earlier be outrages, on any given day.

Every time I use this app it doesn’t let me past the payment method! None of the help articles show what I can do, no troubleshooting I can think of works! Then there is absolutely no way to get ahold of customer service to call or even text or email. Like literally no way someone can help, it’s ridiculous! Force to find other means to travel.

Inconsistent at best
Uber has way too many issues for it to be something I’d use regularly. The wait times are WILDLY inaccurate and sometimes by more than 10 mins, it is almost always more expensive than its competitors without paying their drivers any more money, and their app has 90 different things, other than just wanting a ride.

Too long wait
The service has become very frustrating lately. It consistently takes 15 to 30 minutes just to find a driver and wait for them to arrive. Drivers are always assigned from too far away. Not reliable for when you’re in a hurry
