I understand the ig planner feature has been retired, but I had already spent several hours planning a lot of posts inside the Instagram planner before it was removed.
Is there any way the previously saved plan still exists in your system or database? Even a simple export, list, or screenshot of the planned posts would help me recover the work I did.
I would really appreciate any help retrieving that information if it’s still available.

Removed Feed Planner from Plus
Super disappointed to log onto my app today to see that the Instagram feed planner has been removed from my Plus subscription. It is now only available on a Pro subscription which costs considerably more. Sadly I’ll likely be cancelling my subscription and finding a different app
Can’t access the app
I have had this app for years. It forced me to update to this new version which is requiring me to create an account. Totally fine. However I keep getting an error saying I don’t have enough storage on my phone? What does that have to do with creating an account or accessing my older images? I have used 1/6 of my iPhone storage (I have over 400gb left). This new app version is a joke. All in the name of a monthly subscription.
Warning won’t let you refund an accidental charge!!!! We requested the refund twice both rejected!!!

Was such a great app until I needed to make a login/account.
Deleting this after using this for 5+ years. Making unfold into “unfold:reels and story maker” with an option to go “pro” is such a sell out disappointment. I won’t be recommending this any more sadly. Bring back the old version /:
Switched to square space and now it’s awful
Ever since they got bought out by square space I have lost access to the filter packages I PAID FOR and cannot get any help from customer service. I can’t even log into my account any more. I’m deleting the app. Thanks for nothing

A terrible mistake paying for this app. It’s so basic and never has updates. I paid like $70 for the year and that doesn’t even get me the pro version. Muse app is 10x better! Don’t waste your money!
Started out great, ruined by greed
This app used to be great and fairly priced. Opened it recently after a year or so and wow what an absolute disaster they’ve made of it. Buggy, multiple subscriptions, and payroll over basic features and layouts. Ended up just using Photoshop.
Greed is really a sad way for this app to go out.

External Keyboard & Mic don’t work on IOS platforms
Unless one wants to peck away at a tiny keyboard, this app does not work on an iPad or iPhone. Tried all the suggestions with no success. At least make the mic work!!
Unable to even log in after update
I made the mistake of updating the app after having the free version for years. Now everything is lost and I can’t even create a log in for some full storage error message.

A bait and switch model
I paid $20 for an annual “Pro” subscription of this app. I figured that since it came from Squarespace it would be updated frequently with new templates and resources for small creators. Well, it never did. It has the same templates as it did last year, and anything new is behind yet ANOTHER $99 yearly subscription model for a tier that I was unaware existed. Truly disappointing , money-grubbing behavior.

Annoying change having to log into square space to save image
Used to be a great app
I had had unfold for about 4 years. In the beginning it was a lot better because they weren’t trying to take your money every chance they could get. You had a lot more options in the free version. But as time went on they kept adding more and more to the paid versions and taking away from the free side. I understand needing to make money from the developers side but don’t take away from the free version. Obviously i haven’t used it in a long time and deleted the app a while ago.

Can’t get past square space login, which you shouldn’t NEED to use the app itself. No matter how many times I uninstalled and restarted, I couldn’t get past the login wall.

Looks like squarespace took over. Can’t access my paid templates unless I sign up with them. It’s now a trash app. Deleting it and moving on
Money Grab App & Content Stealer
Stay away, delete and do not download. Used to love this app but have since not been able to utilize anything on the free version. Even the paid doesn’t allow customization. First for the free app there are blocks to which ones you can use. Then you find one you can use and there’s a nonremovable watermark on the very limited ones you can even use to begin with. This app has nothing for free users and is an absolute money grab. Why would a business chose this way if not with the sole intention of getting you to upgrade? aka pay them?? From there, this app forces you to give access to all of your photos to which they can take and use however they’d like. Stay away from
Latest updates have driven me off
I’ve been using unfold for literally years and now that I have to make an account and log in to use it I will likely not use it again. I don’t care if the account is free. This is a photo editing app I use on my phone. I can’t be bothered.

I have loved this app for so long. I used to use it as a daily journal back in 2019 and had my life documented here. Recently the app updated and I no longer have access to my account. I can’t reset the password or anything and feel like I’ve lost so much of my memories. Really loved this app but getting singed out and losing everything is awful
The watermark is so awful
You can’t edit the watermark color or placement? Even on templates with loads of text to begin with?? I get you want us to pay but is the watermark really needed on all the templates? Feels so corny to have it on the ones that already say Unfold 😭
Can’t Edit Biosite
Created a biosite using the app however now I can’t access it, it just tells me to update the app (even though it’s already updated. This means that everything I have using a QR code directing to my biosite is now outdated.

Crashes every time I try to use it
Got an email from Squarespace today about Unfold. Decided to try it out. Downloaded it. Tried recording a video. App crashed. Tried again, crash. Tried a few more times. Looked for a “help” or contact us in the app. Didn’t see it. Went to the website, followed some troubleshooting tips. Crashed. Deleted. Yes, my phone is up to date. It’s also a 16. Yes, I turned my phone on and off again. No, I’m not checking my router and wifi bc every other app and video app are working fine.
Doesn’t work anymore
I’ve been using Unfold for years. And all the sudden it’s disconnected from my creator account, won’t reconnect and their website says they’re working on it. It’s been a month. This app is not cheap, and to not be able to utilize it at all is pretty frustrating. Good while it lasted but this app in dead to me.
What was once great, now ruined by greed
I hardly ever write app reviews, so you know how bad this is. I’ve been using unfold since 2017? I loved it at first because it was super user friendly and had a bunch of FREE options. Now the app is just “free” for download. You have to PAY a subscription for 99% of the features.
Update Break Unfold Pros
Unfold also known as Squarespace is extorting users who have already paid for the yearly premium app. When you update you no longer can use certain fonts.
And they want you to repay an extra $99/year or $12.99/month. On top of the Pro account.
I will be canceling my subscription after it expires due to this price gauging.
Also you cannot delete or update the Brand Kit. Been a bug for months. The Development team does not QA their product.

Lags on MAJOR updates
I just want an option for the vertical IG grid! I love this app so much but having to wait weeks for the vertical grid update is insane. Please please please give us the vertical grid!

I upgraded to the most recent version and I regretted so much… now with the newest version, if you wanna create a reel, or any story, every single template (including the ones that are for non-subscribers) they force you to put their logo on your content otherwise you have to “pay” to make it removed.
Too Rigid
There are endless simple things I would like to do with this app, though it does not deliver. At a pro subscription, I do not have the options to choose how images are cropped when animated. It either shoves it into a template format, or at the from scratch approach it does not customize as nicely as the templates. Templates are not adjustable, brand colors do not remove the rainbow backgrounds, can not position an image into a space (poor cropping), and do not have the animation capability from scratch. For the cost of pro, I should be able to make my own templates just as nice, or completely customize the existing templates. This app isn’t fully baked. Stick with free, and find something better for a pro service. There’s nothing pro about this.
Major downgrade!
App now includes a watermark that requires a subscription to remove. There are other apps in this category that I now recommend above this one.
Ridiculous subscription
Used to use this app a bunch. Now they force a watermark and a subscription to remove it even on templates that had been paid for in the past. Restoring purchases does nothing. Deleting this nonsense.

Changing the log in for instagram
The app was my favorite to use until a Facebook login was needed to connect my instagram, doesn’t make any sense, deleting the app. If you don’t need a Facebook to make an instagram account, don’t require it to connect it.
Subscription oriented
They only provide a handle of template options to choose from without have to pay for the subscription and if you choose to stick with the free option and use the create from scratch function they plaster their logo across your picture, even though you use the “create from scratch.” I’m so sick of these subscription oriented apps.
Horrible Save Quality/Resolution
I really like the creative and unique templates unfold has to offer! However, I recently posted pictures I took on my dslr camera, using unfold to fit landscape photos into a portrait format, and unfold completely bombed the photo quality!! It is very frustrating as well to not even have options in the settings to adjust for photo quality. We are in 2024, why are the photos saving in absolute horrendous quality smh. If Instagram and other social media lowers photo quality after posting, then to combat that, this app should preserve the original resolution so that when it’s downscaled for social media it won’t look like the photo was taken on a potato.
Useless unless you pay
Doesn’t allow you to do even the most basic edits or post layout without subscribing to their plus or pro subscription. It will place an obnoxious watermark over your Instagram post. Completely useless without the paid tiers. All I wanted to do was create a simple triptych, which takes about 30 seconds in Photoshop or Inkscape. I guess I’ll do that instead
Greedy Company with changing policies
I paid for individual templates and now they’re forcing me to pay for a subscription even though I already paid for the individual template :( what a scam and unethical company. Would not recommend!!

I’m usually using this app as a content creator on a wedding days, but after I upgraded on iPhone 16 pro, the last wedding was a disaster! Because for some reason it stopped uploading videos to templates! I tried to change frame rate or HDR/SDR format it doesn’t help at all

I have bought subscriptions with this app countless times over the years and yet they keep changing the terms and templates you can use? everything is about making money to these corporations and it’s disgusting.
Glitching
Tried multiple times to upload and choose images and videos for the same offered template, and tried other templates as well. Will not upload, never makes the reel Or created the project….I restarted my phone. Still an issue. I was about to purchase the app but I wanted to make a few video reels first. Since it’s having issues I don’t want to buy! I’m so bummed I really liked the app! I had just made 2-3 videos and it worked just fine!
