It should be free for 2 years because for kids like myself I’m 13 almost 14 and I’m kinda broke so I don’t have the type of money to pay for this so please change this is the only problem but it’s enough for 1 star

They keep pushing yo releases back because of little reasons like you have a blank space in ur songs an still try to make yu pay for “mixing” then gotta change the whole date instead of keeping the same date and everything then they wait till a couple days till yu drop to tell yu it’s stupid

This company scams, they literally have a term that you can only sue them for 100$ max or less
So they can ruin your life and you’ll only get 100$
They also have a huge reputation for closing accounts and stealing royalties.
I’d stay away from this company what ever you do.

I got license for my songs but the app sends them back saying for a license then customer support is no help

When I click on “release music” a message pops up saying I’m unable to submit audio from my account and to contact customer service. It’s been 3 days and no response to my request for assistance. It would’ve been nice to know the status of my profile BEFORE you took my $60 payment for the upgrade to a SELECT MEMBERSHIP. If my issue isn’t fixed asap I will be requesting a refund of my money and will use DistroKid to distribute my music

I had the debut+ pass and didn’t pay one month and all my music from other platforms have disappeared because of it. I would recommend distrokid!

Tried to use them for my latest upload which is all completely original work from the beats to the lyrics & flows to the cover art but apparently my producer tag sounded like something else to their systems. Also I didn’t see a single sync opportunity anywhere on the app or website which was the only reason I signed up to begin with

United Masters has some scam thing going on, they lock your account from receiving money, then they don’t respond to your for a long time or they give you run arounds and don’t handle things professionally. I wouldn’t recommend, Amuse is better.

Antitrust and Consumer Rights Violations by UnitedMasters, BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street
I possess direct evidence of antitrust activity involving BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street, who have illegally benefited through their financial relationships with UnitedMasters.
This scheme has systematically harmed independent artists by cloning creative data into AI systems without compensation, delaying or blocking releases, and restricting artist access to earned income.
UnitedMasters’ platform has repeatedly engaged in practices that violate Consumer Protection Law, Antitrust Law, and Privacy Law. These include:
• Data Misappropriation: Artist content-including over 700 of my original songs, and multiple unreleased albums-was used to train AI models such as “BlueprintAI” and “Udio” without consent or payment.
• Suppression of Commerce: UnitedMasters unlawfully restricted interstate commerce by blocking, delaying, or removing legitimate releases. Their so-called “Partner Program” is invite-only and used as a gatekeeping mechanism to exclude artists while still monetizing their work as well as a direct pipeline from artist finacial advance to human trafficked into prision or jail systems then rewarded with synchs for taking the fall for others crimes.
• Economic Espionage: The platform required artists to accept invasive third-party financial integrations to “cash out,” effectively coercing users into additional data surveillance in exchange for accessing their own earnings. After removing my over 700 original songs they used Ai tools to “split” the stems each instrument apart then programmed MIDIs for beats to directly resell my songs as their own beats without pay to me the artist, their legal team took retaliatory action when being notified.
• Royalty Theft: In several cases, split royalties were removed or reassigned, with artists being told they must repurchase rights they already owned. I have songs with artist all across the world so they robbed USA, UK, and even FRANCE of real revenue that they should have been reporting to the IRS but hired a third party to decentralize accountability for doing such.
• Discrimination and Retaliation: When confronted with documented evidence, UnitedMasters’ support team ceased communication instead of addressing the violations. They have discriminated against consumers based on disability status and the nationality of collaborating artists. Their time sensitive demands directly violated the American Disability Act, upon being notified of this they recommended I seek legal counsel for United Masters illegal activities. - Apple was shown screenshots of all correspondence between United Masters Support And myself the Artist as well as United Masters Legal, Apple directly demanded I contact United Masters then United Masters Claimed That Those Contacts Resulted In Them Removing Over 700 Songs. Apple and Apple Music was directly notified that I had not been paid for over 2 years of labor, Apple claimed they were not liable for Apple Music stealing my multi lingual songs to create a Ai translate for the new AirPods yet after our call APPLE used that unpaid labor to update their TOS to steal data directly. That is abuse of federal awards.
• Market Manipulation: By taking state funding and reinvesting it into advertising and “advances” while blocking artist payouts, UnitedMasters has engaged in a conflict of interest that distorts fair market access. After removing my song’s United Masters redistributed my content removing my name and claimed it was their own artist who had not paid me anything. This wasn’t just a cash out issue it was a labor law issue.
These coordinated actions appear to be part of a broader pattern of collusion between major financial institutions and tech companies, leveraging artist data for AI development while depriving creators of both payment and visibility. This conduct constitutes a violation of antitrust statutes and consumer rights, and demands immediate federal investigation. Federal awards prove companies got paid to steal our data for Ai then failed to pay us. It’s not an issue of just a bank it’s not and issue of updating the app it’s an issue of intentional thief as seen in policy’s that break real laws.

I made a payment for select on the web and up till now I can’t upload songs because they collected the money and replied to my ticket once and vanished. this is fraud 😭😭😭😭 I’ve provided all the receipts regarding this transaction and your support team is messing with me this is so wrong at all levels

Horrible customer service. They take forever to get back. They uploaded my YouTube Music to the wrong account. It also took forever to get them to approve my Collector’s Edition of my album, even though they approved the regular edition (Collector’s is the same songs in reverse order).
I can’t comprehend how bad their service is in terms of communication & also distribution. *if they didn’t have a free version I wouldn’t be with them. .

Paid for membership, after a couple months it got deleted, everything I build + it won’t let me remove my money from the app

this is the worst update that ever happened in unitedmasters. money hungry developer, basically the app is no longer for free use and u must pay just to release music. my music will be taken down after its been up for so many years...i will no longer be using United masters anymore

I reinstalled the app at least four to five times to just get a sample size of what it looks like for me to be able to make something out of it, and everytime I put my security in, there’s always seems to be an issue with the installation process which is frustrating and weird to say the least. I’m probably the only person who has this issue but it’s based on my experience with it.

My name is Brenton J. Mosley, founder and lead artist of McNeill Ent, LLC, an independent record label based in Raleigh, NC, which I established in 2019. After a brief one-year hiatus from the music industry-during which I performed opening sets for several notable stand-up comedians-I returned to releasing music through UnitedMasters, a platform I’ve been using since 2020.
Under their Select membership, my debut album Zookeeper achieved moderate success, surpassing 50,000 streams. Following that project, I focused primarily on collaborations and features rather than promoting my own catalog.
Upon returning, I opted for the more limited Debut+ plan based on my prior experience. Unfortunately, this decision appears to have come with significant drawbacks. Since the switch, I’ve encountered ongoing discrepancies in my streaming metrics. For example, my YouTube analytics fluctuated inexplicably from nearly 2,000 views down to just 30. Additionally, after proper Spotify mapping, I saw an encouraging spike: 173 monthly listeners and six playlist placements totaling nearly 9,000 streams in one week. However, UnitedMasters abruptly removed the release, citing “suspected artificial plays”-a claim I strongly contest given the organic nature of my audience and marketing strategy.
I currently have a growing and engaged fanbase, with over 800 active subscribers on YouTube, 1,000+ followers on Instagram, and over 500 followers on BandLab. My artistic background includes poetic openings for comedians such as Earthquake and Big Daddy Laugh A Lot, as well as features in publications like MTM Expo Magazine (2009), the Carowinds Catalog (2011), IMDb (as Director of the award-winning short film Spin Da Block), and multiple local news outlets.
My extended network also includes professional athletes-Carlos Watkins, Brandon Spikes, Keyshawn Woods, Kerrion Moore, and Jalen Kennedy-who have supported my promotional efforts when possible. Despite this support and reach, the rollout of my most recent project has been disappointing and potentially damaging to my momentum due to UnitedMasters’ handling of my content.
Based on this experience, it has become clear that the support and consistency offered by UnitedMasters appear to be tiered unfairly, with noticeable disparities in how artists are treated depending on their membership level. This experience has prompted my decision to transition to a different distributor who aligns more equitably with the needs of independent artists.
I share this not to discourage others, but to provide transparency and advocate for fair treatment across the board-regardless of subscription status or commercial success level.

They banned my account and took down my music because I was blowing up on Spotify and never once paid for any promotion. Lawsuit on the way with proof of everything ✌🏾

They come up with excuses and take your music down. Haven’t even released anything on their trash app for 3 years. Still pay my annual. And all of a sudden they pull my music down. No explanation nothin. Steve Stoute is a thief and Pax is a rude puppet goofy. They are the worst. Never do business with them. They steal money from artist.

I create all original music and artwork. They suspended my account after I paid for Debut+ for “Artificial Streaming” they want records of everything including my identification and all my music original content…. Do you really think that I’m that gullible? Seriously? I know exactly what you are up to, you are stealing artists hard work and then having AI recreate it then claim it’s yours. Or at the very least, just scamming people out of a quick $20 because nobody seems to care about $20 anymore, but I do. You had better refund me. Or l will make a billion accounts and give you all 1 star very original reviews just so you know that I’m a real person.
They refunded my money, but that still doesn’t change the fact that this is an illegitimate, fraudulent company… How many others have you done the same thing to? I have all the information, I just am not giving it to you.. United Scammers, don’t trust them.. I wish I could give a negative rating to be honest..

I’m unsure if it’s due to most people using samples on the app and they’re trying to encourage more people to buy samples or something, but it would not let me release a song that I made without any samples, I use instruments and create everything off the dome and for them to ask me for a license to a work that I made just pushed me over to cancel my subscription and write a review and I NEVER write reviews unless it’s egregious or great enough to warrant one and what they did was idiotic and caused me to miss the release date I wanted multiple times due to unnecessary actions on their part.

I got my account hacked in 2021 and tried dropping music 2025 not only when i paid for the debut+ they made me pay for it again saying some message like it didn’t work and i had to pay again when it already took money out but they wont even take my old music down i dont have access to no more or even believe i was hacked. They just wanna make money off small artist such garbage and shady costumer service i feel like this whole app is just a scam for smaller artists.

I bought a subscription and and every time I click on the it say buy subscription but I have bought it. It took my money off my card and it’s saying something went wrong. I look on subscription in my setting on my iPhone and said it’s active but I can’t post my music for it can stream on all the platforms

The way they release the music and the artist them selves have to go through all the trouble to link accounts get it on there main, honestly it’s fine if they didn’t take 2 - 3 business days to respond. What this app doesnt do the next one will. Theres money to be made and they’re kinda iffy. I also just started using it, they don’t even prioritize its users.
