I have a Toshiba tv and it doesn’t give me the option to connect to the actually tv, only my firestick remote. I have had this Xfinity thing pop up on my screen but unfortunately I don’t have the correct remote anymore. This leaves me unable to watch my tv, causing me to have to order a remote..

I bet the five stars are bots because there’s a pay wall and it shows the 6.99 subscription wall literally show its every 5 clicks Ive counted and in the subscription it literally says to unlock full control you need the subscription which is super dumb and this is so far the worst universal remote app I’ve seen🤬🤬🤬

Terrible. I got this remote BECAUSE I LOST MINE! But every time I turn the tv on it needs me to select okay before I can use my phone remote. I CANT SELECT ANYTHING, MY REMOTE IS BROKEN!!! So no connection sooooooooo stupid. And when I did get it to work for A minute , the freaking volume buttons didn’t even connect or work

What is the point of paying $6.99 a week for something that is no better than the Roku app or the Roku remote. A total waste of money. Already deleted it.

App does nothing if your device was not connected to the same WiFi before you lost the remote. USELESS!

You can only press any button twice before ads pop up. Doesn’t let you turn on tv only usable if tv is already on

Maybe it’s not necc fair to give the app a 1 star rating bc the rating is more for those who came up with this brilliant idea. Let me explains…let me just say this..I was looking for a remote to use with my phone bc I’m tired of the batteries going dead or my Samsung tv remote unsyncing itself at times but when I went to try this app I was truly shocked!!!! U know why?
So let me ask yall reading this right now, when was the last time YOUUU OR ANYONE ON THIS PLANET, HAD TO PAY 6.99 a WEEEEEEK to use your tv remote or any remote for that matter??? paying that a month would be insane but even more insane PER WEEK!!! What??? You want to charge me 7 bucks a week to use a tv remote which back in the day before this “let’s charge everyone a subscription” train started, would have cost me 3.99 or 4.99 to either just permanently have the app or maybe even for free ( those were the good ol’ days)
Look, I get it, I know that developers need to make money for the apps they create they have people they have to pay but I’m curious at one point in y’all’s business meeting did someone say “ohhhh let’s charge people 7 bucks a week to use our remote app even if they can use the one that came with their tv for free??? And some big wig said “GREAT OMG FASCINATING IDEA!! Let’s do it guys. Let’s create a subscription to charge people willing to pay 7 bucks a week rather than use their original remote for free.
I think I’ll stick to buying batteries bc at least 7 bucks worth of batteries would LAST ME A LONGGGG time before I have to spend yet another 6-7 bucks for more batteries again.
I’m not one to dog people for their creative hard work. I’m sure doing this kind of work takes time and effort in putting an app together, but man, truly charging people 7 bucks a week to use something they can use for free using their own remote.
So I have a question folks, what would yall say if you went to Bestbuy, target ..ect and bought a tv and the sales person said “remotes don’t come with tvs anymore you have to purchase a subscription of 7 bucks a week to use one. Do you say oh that’s nothing a week. It’s one drink at Starbucks or would u be having a fit at the store that you had to pay not only for a remote to your tv but a weekly charge at that???

What an absolute joke. Trying to set up the app for the first time and it automatically tries to get you to sign up for $6.99 per week (which I accidentally did). Very scummy and borderline scamming.

Question is it FREE?

Buttons don’t work once off Home Screen, then the pause button cuts on and off so it won’t play without pause constantly

My son thoroughly lost the remote so I downloaded this. First off $6.99 a week?!?!?! That’s more than streaming services! That’s more than going out and buying a universal remote! That’s a asinine amount! Just charge a flat fee to buy it or a TINY monthly fee! That’s more than my cable company charges for a remote! Secondly, I couldn’t even use it! There is one button on my tv, under the tv so you can’t even see it. The first thing that happens is my tv asks me to approve the device, but the single button on my tv doesn’t do that. I’ve tried pressing and holding or quickly pressing it, nothing works to approve the app so I can’t even use it. To get it working I would actually have to have my remote … which defeats the purpose!

If you need a remote for 3 days (the 3 day free trial) by all means. It will not work after that. 😂

As a developer myself, i can NOT recommend this app to anyone. You have to pay to use all features on a very simple app. Note this price is about 300x more expensive than a physical remote long term. If you are using this app I would only recommend the trial, nothing else.

This app is very scammy and took advantage of my handicapped brother who somehow got signed up for an insane weekly subscription fee.

I downloaded it to use on my Samsung TV. It connected, but it won’t do anything on the remote

The app may be free but you have to start a subscription to access ANY feature. So it’s useless without paying.

AND THE APP IS NOT EVEN WORKING, I TRIED WITH HISENSE ANDROID TV AND LG SMART TV, NONE OF THEM WORKED

I canceled this a month ago and they are still charging my CC. Theres no contact info to report.

$6.99 per week is insane. That’s $28 per month or $363 per year to use a remote control. When the entire lifetime cost of a regular remote is $10-20. You can’t be serious. Why not just charge a one-time fee or a reasonable annual subscription. By reasonable I mean like $10-30. I feel like that has to be spelled out to people who think a collection of buttons for choosing a movie and changing the volume is worth $363 per year.

It’s always the same thing . Asked you to sign up with a plan and you can’t even use the app. It’s ridiculous

Doesn’t connect to anything but will happily charge you $13.99 to tell you that. I am reporting this to the App Store. If
