All I want to do is add one page! I save it it says it's successful I go to look at it online there it is. I go into the app to edit it it's nowhere to be found! I've restarted the computer unloaded reloaded the app nothing! Now I can't even edit the page because I don't know how to get to it because it's not listed anywhere in Universe. I pay a lot of money for my website and now I don't have any support whatsoever. So guess what I'm going somewhere else this is ridiculous! Locking out the very customers that pay you and you don't even give them tech-support!? Total ridiculousness!

Greedy and restrictive
I used to love this app for being affordable and easy to use. $9.99 for Pro was literally perfect. But for Pro to now be $24.99 is robbery. The greed is unbelievable especially in this economy. Absolutely insane!

wow, what a beautiful paywall anytime i click to access help!!! wow, what a beautiful new grid that absolutely destroyed my website! wow! so exciting that padding is gone and i can’t even adjust my site to the new grid because of it!! way to ruin the beautiful thing you had, my god. you developers simply don’t know when to QUIT!! not everything needs to be revamped, im heartbroken that all my work is essentially useless now.

this app use to be reallllyyyy good! but to customize the websites is terriblely hard now. if you want to add images and the image is not properly cropped it just messes up the layout. it looks weird when building it but looks fine when viewing the page. or the opposite. it is so annoying.
BASE deserves better!
Omg, can you guys pls have some sympathy for your customers? Pro used to be $9.99 but now Base is over that and still can’t benefit the code block upgrade! This is sad. Pls do something about it. We have been riding with you since. We are just students, we are not rich. $25 for Pro is diabolical. You took $11 from me for absolutely no reason cause i cant even make use of my site without the form. Why are you guys so wicked to your customers. Im crying!! Wth
Used to be good
When I drag a title or a picture when editing, the screen automatically tries to jump to the bottom of the page causing all my products to be scrambled everywhere. When I edit something and it looks good, when I publish it, it looks sloppy and things are not in the correct space. I hasn’t touched this app because I finally had it the way I wanted it, but when I checked my page an a customer’s POV, I was embarrassed and confused how and why this happened. The app needs to get the bugs fixed before I move my page somewhere else for business.
What just happened to this app
All of a sudden the app has been down for a week. No word on why and no contact information. Everything is just gone. All the hard work. Gone. Terrible customer service and doesn’t respond.
Loved this until they took away the desktop app
I loved this so much until the took away desktop app. No longer a functional interface. It’s going to be a pain to transfer to a new platform, but looks like it will be necessary at this point.
Many problems
No customer service number or text hotline so you can never get your problem fixed immediately, when their is an error for the customer during payment you’ll never know because it doesn’t show anything wrong with your website so you lose money. The system problem is ridiculous and the lack of adequate customer support is even worse.

Not worth it
This cannot do what you need it to do if there was a no star button I’d put it, don’t use it took me a whole 30 min to write two words the way I want it and it still not doing what I need it to do
the app got really buggy after the web app update
the block size is flexible and it makes it so hard to design and made my previous designs weird. i cant even go back.

Horrible Antiquated App
Downloaded hoping to use AI to quickly develop a web site, purchased a domain through them, only to find out they have discontinued their AI tool Gus that is all over YouTube being advertised as AI to create a site. Emailed them and they wanted to know how I had even heard about Gus, since they discontinued it and seem to no longer have any AI capabilities. They told me they could help me design a site- that defeats the whole purpose! And now my domain is held hostage by them for 60 days! Don’t use this app- it’s horrible!
Not worth it!
I’ve been with universe for many years and I never had a problem, until now! Now in order for me to get support or help, I need to pay for a subscription!? Shows how much you care about your users! It will catch up to you! That I can promise!

Now you have to upgrade to premium to CONTACT SUPPORT??? You guys have completely ruined and demolished what used to be a good app. It’s turned into a joke. Btw you have tons of bugs but you won’t let me contact you to tell you about them- I hope the new people that download this experience them .. so people automatically see how trash this is & don’t get caught in your greed trap. 🤣
Worked for a while! No support option
If you want support from this app, don’t expect it! Unless you want to drop a lot of money for a premium subscription. I was expecting to be able to at least contact someone to help me get my website to work, as it will not upload anymore edits I make but they won’t help you unless you have a premium subscription. Great! There are no more updates I can do for the app so it’s not on my end. Fixing this would be awesome, I would’ve loved to share this with my family and friends. Now I’m going to use a different website builder. Thanks:)
Disappointed
I’ve been using this app since 2022 and I originally loved it (hence why I’ve continued to use it until now.) The app has recently changed so much in the last few months and not in a good way. I really appreciated how user friendly and accessible this app was. Now I can’t even do something as simple as COLOR CUSTOMIZATION without paying their $25 subscription fee?? There’s also just a lot of bugs within the app and there are so many issues when attempting to design/edit. Sadly, because of this I’ll be looking elsewhere to rebuild my website.
Ridiculous update
The new update where you are essentially requiring everyone to purchase an annual plan is not only expensive for what you're offering but also ridiculous that we can no longer upload more than like 30-40 pictures without being required to pay.
I used to be able to use this for easier customization on my website with custom colors for blocks, custom images, custom text colors, custom backgrounds, and now you expect me to pay for it? Yeah I think I'll just go to squarespace or any other website builder and deal with a little extra hassle to keep my basic custom needs than continue using this. I thought this was built for creators on a budget and some of the customization was nice WHEN IT WAS FREE, but it aint worth all that especially when you can't even use custom fonts. I've used this service for 3-4 years and now I can't even do the most basic custom features without having to pay. Wild decision, y'all

App doesn’t work
I downloaded it, signed up for the free trial, only to have it say an error when I put in my domain and when I tried the next day it was stuck on a loading screen and wouldn’t even work.
Glitches longer?
I was making something of here for my bio for instagram and i wanted to add a pretty long text but the photos changed and became huge / long and i can’t undo it or fix it? this is something that needs to be fixed like asap because i love using this app but WOW im going to have to refer to another app.

Unreliable. DNS configuration unstable. Support extremely slow and unresponsive.
There are just too many inconsistencies where it matters most. Something as simple having my site load as a .com and not .univer.se is an issue that has taken them over a week to resolve-and is a still not resolved. I followed all of their ineffective step by step directions. My last two “help” emails haven’t even received a reply. Univer.se might be best for hobbyists. I’m not convinced that they’re ready for customers who intend to build a website to conduct business. Cool as a free tool. But not worth the money.

This app deleted my website as soon as i made sales and entered my banking information. Seems like a scam to commit fraud? Going to be reaching out to the Better Business Bureau
My account was terminated without due cause.
I developed the website for the HOA organization to allow the purchase of key fobs and other items that went straight to the HOA. For some reason when a purchase was made it stayed on the website and would not deposit into the account. I tried many times to get a hold of a customer service rep and in the beginning all i got was a automated bot response. After trying for months to solve this and multiple emails and contacting there support center I think I got a "real" person. After I did what they asked to fix the issue they terminated my account, stole my domain, kept the money that was till lingering on the website and had the audacity to say i was comming fraud. So becareful with doing purchases off of these people. They will not release the domain and they kept the money to pay for possible issues arising from my terminated account. They are garbage and ripped of my HOA even though I did everything they asked of me to "resolve" this issue.

TIRED OF THE LACK OF SUPPORT AND ALL TECH ISSUES
This app is so irritating I paid for a yearly subscription (75$) march 2nd 2024. Noticed two days ago my URL wasn’t working as I contacted support they first told me the issue was due to their crashing system and was resolved and when I informed them it In fact wasn’t fixed they then said it was because my website subscription ended and that’s why it wasn’t showing. They then removed pro from my website and haven’t contacted me back after I showed proof of me not only paid for the yearly subscription last month but also that it was still showing as an active subscription in Apple. I’m tired of the lack of support access. I have an Art show and can reach anyone and they are definitely not professional. 0 STARS!!!!! I want a full refund so I can take my business elsewhere

i used to love and recommend this app for everyone but now you can only have 4 pages without paying. If it was cheaper i'd consider it but come on :(

Strange obsession with brutalism
The idea of the UX was great, until I felt a rush of nausea drown over me in less than 3 seconds of looking at literally every example built with this app. Locked into a single design style called Brutalism, which works for a whopping .0001% of any real product and dependent on a trend that no one ever really liked. I really dont understand the play here, or marketing. App Store images alone are blatant failures to accessibility and look like clip art smashed onto a kindergartener’s paper mache project
Used to be great
I used to love this app. It was perfect for designing websites right from your mobile device so you could build/edit on the go. Perfect for my lifestyle. However, many unnecessary updates have now rendered the user experience nearly unbearable. Sadly, I’ll have to take my business elsewhere…
New format design
I used to love using this platform. But recently if you make a picture a certain width or length and try to put another photo behind or on top of it, it has to be that format as well. It won’t let me design and shape the photos differently. Please change it back to the old way.
