Non-stop THC ads
I've used Untappd for over 10 years because I like beer. But lately it's done nothing but push THC ads on me. THC has nothing to do with beer, it's illegal in my state, and I don't want anything to do with it. I'm close to just deleting the app.
Used to be a good app
Untappd has lost its way. What used to be a fantastic beer sharing community, one can now literally check in tap water. Also, there’s serious privacy violation possibility lingering with regard to the soon to be sunsetted DM function

About to uninstall
Used this app for well over a decade and it was great, but I am about at the end of the line with this new thing where an ad immediately pops up over your entire screen every time you open the app.
I just want to do a quick check-in and start typing in the search bar to find my beer, only to find a giant pop-up ad blocking everything every single time.

A beer app destroyed
A well established, fun and adventurous beer tracking app has opened the floodgates for all beverages and thereby ruined its original purpose. But don’t worry, you can still level up beer badges by checking in bottled water and energy drinks.
Been a user since 2013 but am now just having fun riding the app to its demise as a beer lovers app.

Not allowing *any* VPN ruins an otherwise great app
I love this app, but when I started using a VPN, the app immediately would not work or connect. It’s literally just a consistent loading screen. And when I go to turn off my VPN, the app immediately works and loads past the loading screen. Not sure why a beer logging app prohibits any VPN, but it is strange to say the least. Fix this so we can actually protect our privacy and use this app.

Deletes reviews over 5 years old
Used to be my favorite app. Now all the sudden Deletes reviews over 5 years old so if you checked in a beer over 5 years ago don’t expect to be able to know you did or see your review. Basically shows like you never had it before.
