Uphold is absolutely terrible, they do everything in their power to prolong you getting your money out. It should not take 34 different apps to get my money out.

Too many new things all the time having to change how I sign up more Id checks over and over too many ads just too much profit scraping

If you have a problem and open a ticket you can’t get help because they send you a notification into the app and if you can’t log into the app, you can’t open the notification so you’re in this constant loop of going back back-and-forth because you can’t reset your password and you can’t get to your ticket, make it make sense
Uphold Support Wrong
Uphold app and Support are useless. They’re insisting I can deposit $15,000 /day using a Visa or MasterCard Credit Card INSTANTLY. Instead my Visa Credit Card was denied and Visa Support said I cannot use a credit card but can use a Debit Card. Uphold response says there must be something wrong with my Card but Visa said there nothing wrong with my Credit or Card

Fix your bugs first. Debit card payment failed, but my bank account shows - withdrawal

SCAM APP DO NOT USE AT ALL
They held my money for 65 days due to an ACH deposit after my account was restricted. I patiently waited the full 65 days as instructed, expecting my refund to be processed, but up till now-68 days and counting-I have received nothing.

I'm having big problems with uphold/Trustpilot.
Data Not Safe
A recent update required biometric usage in order to access my account. I do not want to release such information and now there’s no way to use the app without it. If you value your data personally and professionally do not use this app.
Stole my money
I’ve had Uphold for about three years and never had any issues. When I tried to log in today, I was told my account had been locked for no apparent reason.

Authenticator when doing a cut and paste of the code in order to complete a transaction now will not paste the code. “Ok got it” freezes when trying to close. Upgrades are suppose to improve operation not create problems.

Worst Crypto Platform
Uphold has been one of the worst crypto platforms and has been becoming a platform to force sell the listed cryptos by delisting them causing tremendous loss for its customers. I would caution you stay far away from this platform. Customers should make a class action suit to sue this platform for their shady operations..
Don’t USE
They use a third party company that requires you verify with selfie to log in even if you know your passwords and your two factor authorization. Requiring biometric data every time to log in is a huge privacy risk. The third party also sells your data. Do you really think this is a trustworthy from a financial institution that allows you to buy and sell crypto? If you’re privacy focused this place is not it.
Terrible Company
There is no way to speak with anyone. The app closed my account without my knowledge and took my funds. You have to talk to robots on the live agent page. I just want my account open to retrieve my funds.
Horrible Customer service
I emailed and made 8 tickets because my account suddenly wont log in. It doesn’t recognize my login and then when I click “forgot password” it says they sent an email, but I never got a email. Been at this for about 3 months now… HORRIBLE!

Tried to connect my ACH to Uphold would not work. I’ve had a friend who’s tried to deposit money through his credit cards would not work. I have another friend who’s trying to do it today through his credit cards and he’s getting denial and it’s not working either.

ACCOUNT RESTRICTIONS
I have been locked out of my account for 3 days. This entity will only communicate via bot and Ai. This is highly suspicious. I missed a huge purchase at the perfect price due to this event. No one will call and they keep asking if I am me, yet I have done the live selfie verification twice and it was accepted, my account is still restricted, I do not have the ability to move my token to cold storage because of this. Seems convenient since the President has acquired 50 to 60 percent of XRP reserves for the Treasury and Chase has been appointed the custodian. I’m trapped at this point and they need access to both your camera and microphone to take a selfie! I’m about to file a complaint with the CFPB, as they are causing financial harm, emotional distress and keeping my assets, financial assets and property without cause, under the guise of security ‼️

It’s ridiculous that you’re not able to log into your account without the mobile app. I don’t want to download an app just to log in. And to log in to the app, you have to upload a selfie.

They won’t let me withdraw my money at all. It’s saying I have four business days or five cooling off days to withdraw money. Nobody’s responding. They’re live on Instagram. I’m commenting on it. This is the worst account for crypto ever.

Locked me out
Uphold has locked me out of my account where I currently hold XRP. They said my saved password is wrong so I selected to change is, like we do and they said they would send an email. They never sent the email. They also have not answered my emails to support. I am currently doing my best to make proper formal complaints concerning this problem.

Scam
I received a support message asking if I knew a random persons name. I then asked why and they threatened to close my account. I asked for more information and then they closed my account with everything in it. Don’t trust this app to hold your money they will steal it from you

So for added “security” Uphold requires you to use this app to login. That’s because apparently 2FA isn’t secure enough? That’s BS and everyone knows it. They require this app to try and keep users engaged and to increase transactions.

Crazy Fees
It’s way too expensive to do anything on this app. Withdrawing, converting, buying, selling, sending? Doesn’t matter. You’ll get slapped with ridiculous fees. Not worth it.
Very shady company
After getting my funds they suddenly now force you to use their app instead of accessing your account online and the app needs you submit a photo and grant the app camera and microphone access. It tells you it needs microphone access to take a picture (I’m not kidding) Don’t trust these people at all.

Horrible app to buy and hold crypto. First of all even though they have no fee, spread when you buy crypto is nearly 4-5%. Then when you try to send your BTC, you have to wait at least 5 days for it to settle???? But after those 5 days expire, they can randomly add more days ti wait. They added 2 24 hours cooling down periods, and I still can’t send any. The worst part - you don’t own your BTC on uphold. I’m trying to send it now and somehow it shows value of BTC that I send as 2% lower than the one I have??? I’m sending it, not selling, why would the price be lower? It’s because you don’t own it
Can’t log in / no support
I have not been able to log in for over a year. I try and it gives the option for e-mail authentication but I don’t receive and email and it gives an error code. I give this one million thumbs down. 👎
FRAUD STAY AWAY
This is the most scamming and fraudulent company that exists. They will allow theft to happen to your account and offer zero support when it happens. STAY AWAY!!!!

Horrible Service
Started off as a good app, then got greedy and demanded more and more of my personal information. Eventually demanded my biometric data in addition to multiple documents with my personal information on it (basically everything you would need to steal my identity). I considered this a horrendous invasion of my privacy. They then refused to refund me my money (MY MONEY) unless I provided them this information. Their customer service is nonexistent. I mean that literally. They only have an automated service that deals with you via email and it straight up tells you there is no phone number to call and there is no person who will waste their time talking to you. If you have any problems that their machine refuses to fix then it sucks to be you.
