Issues when reviewing
It shows i have to review 11 flashcards, when i review them it get stuck and shows that i have to still review 11 cards, doesnt matter how many times i do it, it doesnt change.
I already tried restarting the app, logging in and logging out, restarting the phone and it still wont work, not even in other devices like in my ipad.
Please, it is impossible to keep using the app.

Cannot use Apple Pen
You cannot write out your cards with this app. There is no palm rejection. You make an absolute mess on the canvas.

Not Transparent with Costs
Don’t spend hours loading all your study material in this site during its “free trial” just to find it costs $65 a year. Every year! They should be transparent up front but instead uses deceptive techniques to hoodwink subscribers.
Not free
$7 USD monthly and they never tell you what the difference is between the plans. I have no idea what I’d be paying for or what I’m “missing out” on. I’ll stick with brainscapes

I’ve been using this app since it first launched and it was great-until the updates. The update deleted all but 3 of my study sets. I’m quite upset about that. Also, you used to be able to download your study sets for FREE so you can study when you are nowhere near a Wifi signal. That feature alone is why I used this app. Now you have to pay a subscription just to continue using that feature. Study Smarter got 5 stars, Vaia gets 1. Way to make the app worse.

Specifically, the test feature. I used to like this feature because it would give me a test based on my flash cards. It would give the question of my flash card, I’d provide the answer, and it would tell me if I was right or not.
Now, when I try to do a test, the AI just makes up whatever it wants. I am currently using flash cards to learn a language. So one side of the card is an image, the other is the word in that language.
When I do a test, the AI just gives me random questions, such as “what color is the cheese?”
That’s not what these cards are for. Ask me “how do you say “cheese” in the language you are learning.
I also got a question that told me to describe someone putting their arms around another.
After some digging, i realized it was referencing an image of two brothers. The question I should’ve gotten was “How do you say brothers in the language you are learning.”

This app is not great.
This app isn’t great at all! Every time I tried to import the flash cards it would restart me and make me put my name in again. I would end up getting no where! I would not recommend it.
Perfect if it worked
I really wanted this to be perfect for me. It has every feature I could ask for, but handwriting is so laggy.
Home Screen is horrible
Generally speaking, I like the app, but the Home Screen is horrible. It’s cluttered and useless. It was half bad in the older versions and it has gotten worst in the newer updates. The other thing I dislike is how it’s implemented by constantly running server queries. This makes it slow and is a poor choice from engineering perspective because the app doesn’t deal with much data, even for large card sets. The way it should work is to have all the data stored in the local database and have it synchronized periodically, much like an email client (Outlook or Gmail). This is how the folks at Brainscape implemented their app and it offers much better user experience. I’m currently using both Vaia and Brainscape to compare which one I’ll end up using long term.
