Can’t Trim Videos
Unfortunately with this “video editing app” you can’t even trim or snip videos.

App randomly charged me $348?
I loved the Veed app, it’s exactly what I was looking for. Super intuitive and easy to use, and looks great as well. However, I was randomly charged $348 by them. I thought “maybe they charged me for a year”, but my plan was still on the monthly plan, which is supposed to be $6.99 a month. So a year would have been $83.88. Furthermore, there was no credit on my account, and the app showed I was still going to owe $6.99 next month like they hadn’t already just taken over $300. I’m very confused, cancelled my subscription, and will be disputing the charges.
Horrible
Any content you make during the subscription period will be watermarked and downscaled if you cancel. The vendor lock-in is savage.
Greedy & Money Hungry
I’ve used this app for years. I’ve paid for the pro the e fire time. All of a sudden they have added “credits’ to the app and now you have to pay for every small thing you do in the app with these credits. What am I paying for with pro then???? I pay for PRO??? This is for work and now I have had to take a professional hit.

It cannot do any videos. Every time I try to make it it shows mistakes

Customer service was incredibly incompetent and unhelpful.

I thought that there would be a 7 day trial as advertised but I was charged immediately. I requested a refund immediately but was denied the refund. Do not fall for their free 7 day trial as it is not true. I will report this app to the App Store!!!
Scammed out of my money
I signed up for a trial period and forgot to cancel before the renewal. I was charged lose to $50 for the year, and I cancelled as soon as I discovered I had been charged. I then reached out to their customer service for a refund, which is something I've done with other apps before, and they told me I had to deal with Apple. Apple does not offer the option to get a refund for this app.
I don't use this app at all, and I'm being forced to lose the money for now reason. Their customer service is bad.

Can’t move the watermark
Absolutely useless - downloaded, tried it once, immediately deleted because their massive green watermark cannot be moved from the top right corner & it was covering my face. Fun fact - Instagram still generates subtitles & then you can download the video with them, without all the nonsense. Functionally it was less obnoxious than the CapCut interface but the watermark makes it useless. And no, I’m not going to pay to remove the watermark when it’s not functional + Instagram does the same for free (for now).

Veed used to be a simple and fantastic captions app with nice translations

Non functional
I tried it. Uploaded 5 videos , failed every single time. Not worth the time and effort much less the money
ChatGPT hand off is junk
I went through trying to get a video created in ChatGPT and the app is trying to charge me money before showing me an example. Wasted a lot of time and now I know ChatGPT cannot do videos or integrate with Veeds in any meaningful way. Uninstalled.

1. The app has only few features. It’s very limited, so it’s so frustrating.
2. Every time I wanted to have a short video for social media marketing, there is an error message. I’ve never been able to use that. Posting on social media is key for my business.
3. The AI features as to create videos does not give you the option to record it with your own voice. This significantly limits creativity and personalization.
4. Most of the times working with high quality videos I can see the same error message as I mentioned before, if not it says there is limited space when it’s not true.
5. The platform is not user friendly, when I try to do things the features seem to be hidden. Sometimes when I try to add something like caption and editing it doesn’t allow me to modify it…
6. It gets worse. I got the pro membership and suddenly the ai avatar doesn’t work anymore for me.

Paid for the app, but it doesn’t work. When trying to generate captions, it just gives a “timed out” error message.

I subscribed to VEED.io’s Lite plan expecting access to their AI avatars, which are prominently advertised across their app and website. What they don’t make clear is that Lite only includes a one-time trial-just a single avatar generation. Same thing with text to speech generation. If you want actual, ongoing access, you’ll need to upgrade to the Pro plan ($348/year).
This limitation isn’t clearly disclosed during checkout, and it feels intentionally vague. If you’re a creator looking to use avatars for storytelling, guest intros, or branded content, the Lite plan won’t deliver what you expect.
I’ve requested a refund under their Terms of Sale, but I wanted to warn others: don’t assume advertised features are fully included. Read the fine print, or you might pay for something you can’t use.

Infuriating app experience
Why does this app blast an auto play video immediately upon opening it for the first time? I can’t possibly think of a worse thing to do to a new user. Who played this? I deleted immediately after the woman screamed in my face: “ADDING CAPTIONS TO YOUR VIDEO”
Subtitles don’t work on YouTube
The app is great and all, but when I try to post my videos on YouTube the captions disappear, I don’t know why this is happening but it just doesn’t work
Cannot even trim your video
Does everything but is missing one simple function TRIMMING YOUR VIDEO If you want to cut parts of your video (something basic) good luck, even if you pay for the pro subscription this is NOT a feature… how is it missing something so basic?
Scammy App
I canceled the same day after the free trial but still got charged $52 from Apple. I didn’t use the app at all, and Apple said they will not refund and that decision was final. Im not using this app. Be careful if you sign up for this

Very Laggy and cuts off part you
I used to love this app but it’s super laggy now. Another thing I hate is you have no freedom over what portions of the video is shown. For example when editing it will cut off part of your body and you have no option to move it around when making shorts, it’s just up to whatever AI decides to cut off. The captions are good though.
