Can’t play anything because everything cost too much coins
You only get around 1,000 coins per submission. But when you’re designing a room, picking out JUST the floor color can cost anywhere from 500 coins to 1,000. Then it’s the same for the walls and all the furniture. How does that make any sense? You gotta pay 3,000 to 5,000 coins to design a room, yet you only earn like 1,000 coins back. It’s cus they want you to spend actual money to buy coins. So don’t get this game unless you’re willing to pay actual money.

This app pisses me off. I have over 200 designs submitted AND ONLY ONE 5 STAR??? At the end of each day you can see featured 5 star designs and there have been so many times that my design was nearly identical and was voted less than 4 stars. Don’t bother using any fun colors or patterns either unless you want your design to get less than a 4 star rating. No clue how the voting works so maybe my beef is with other app users. The app itself is annoying. After you run out of the initial funds you get, you can only afford to submit 1 or 2 designs a day and that’s if you watch ads whenever it’s available. If I didn’t watch all the ads, I don’t think I’d even be able to submit 1 design a day. I think you should only have to purchase items once and they should permanently stay in your inventory to use later.
What’s going on?
My VIP status was removed from my profile when you guys took the money of my monthly subscription last Thursday and Ive been trying to contact you guys and nothing is working??? Ive been trying for 3 days now and no one can give me a single explanation!
Offerwall issues
Very disappointed with the lack of human customer service .. I am owed a plethora of diamonds for completing levels on a game I downloaded from the Offerwall and have sent several inquiries yet receive the same automated responses.
AI SLOP!
Don't get this if you hate AI as much as the rest of us that still have any sense. Annoying, addictive, but blatantly and lazily AI-generated.
Ads can no longer be muted
The sound on the ads can no longer be muted. This is super annoying because I like to play when I’m listening to songs or podcasts but now the ads interrupt that. Probably going to have to uninstall and find another design game.

if you don’t have enough coins to make a design you lose ur streak. the rewards are literally so small how am i supposed to profit ever unless i only get 5 stars
Money Funnel
Such a bummer, because I love this app, but I am at a point where I’m trapped into spending money in order to play. Don’t use Venue if you are expecting it to be free to use, because it really isn’t overall. Also a bummer that I am sort of “punished” for having unconventional taste; if a design is under 4.5 stars it is basically worthless, which brings me back to my first point of being trapped to spend.
Unfair votings
I find it incredibly odd that I have the same exact designs as the five star designs and yet I only get four stars out of five but they get five?! How is this fair? Seems very sketchy.
Used to be fun
I loved this game, I’ve even spent a lot of money on it for coins and diamonds because it was a good zen game for me BUT after the last update, you have to pay for VIP or you have to wait 2.5 days to do another challenge. I made it to 177 and now I have to wait days to play the game. After I have spent so much money on the coins and diamonds. What a waste of time.
MONEY MONEY MONEY!
FUN AND RELAXING GAME….UNTIL! You have minimal chances to get the diamonds you need (even being careful to try not spend any), to continue to design. You’re limited on what you can use on any room (so spending is a must) because what they call for, say Moroccan, you have bland stuff OR can spend your diamonds for a better vote/outcome. Then you’re depleted!

If you have unlimited funds to spend on a virtual game, this is the one for you! If not? Find something different where you might be able to earn more efficiently.

Using dark colors or funky designs equal low ratings
I don’t like that whiter lighter designs are preferred. If you have a tendency for dark colors expect to ALWAYS have a very low rating.

Stuck on an ad
Was having fun until I wasn’t! Several in app purchases and viewed an ad here and there then I kept getting stuck on a bird game ad, and couldn’t get back to the game!!!!! Too expensive to play I’ve decided.

Over charged me and won’t respond to my emails
I have been overcharged twice when purchasing $6.99 coin / diamond sets. When my purchase was completed my credit card was charged an additional $17.99 each time. That’s $36 that you charged my credit card and now are not responding to my emails requesting refunds. I will continue to file complaints. Apple says I have to contact you directly, which I have done but to no avail. Please respond and refund my $36.00.

Fun but Expensive
I actually love this game. Unfortunately, it costs way too much to play. The designs are fun, but just for example, if you spend 4800 to 5000 coins to submit your design, there is a very good chance you’re only going to win back 750 to 1000 coins. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that eventually, you will have to spend money to play this game. If I enjoy a game, I definitely do not mind spending money from time to time or even maybe once a week a little bit here and there. The problem with this game is even when you do spend money you have to continue spending money because you will eventually end up in the rat race of trying to catch up and not able to design as you would like. You do have inventory that you can build up, but they only let you have access to one or two items every now and then so you do not have full access to your inventory. You also get to spin a wheel twice every 24 hours, but sometimes you get something decent and sometimes you don’t. Not really enough to help with gameplay. I wish the developers would understand that they would actually get more if they’d be willing to give more. As it is, I’m seeking out other games to play while I still play this one, but I’m not going to pay to play because I have to. I will because I want to. And with that being said this game is losing out.
Voting doesn’t add up and you never see your opponents designs
I have been playing this game for a while. I have submitted over 280 designs and only 1 was rated at 5 stars, but you never get to see the one you are pitted against. Also I will have the same design as someone in the spotlight 5 star display yet my same design is less than 5. It’s just a weird algorithm. I never have a design below 3.5 stars most are 4.4 to 4.7 but never make it to 5 Stars. If you just want to relax and have time to wait for free spins and to watch ads for extra coins then it’s not a bad game
Very deceiving
Great game in the beginning, but after a while they flip the script on you and start controlling when you get to play unless you purchase their VIP package. Very manipulative!!

Fun at First
I got this game to help me with inspirations for designs for my first home! This game is fun for the first 2-3 days, but after that it’s nearly impossible to play without having to make in-app purchases. You earn and spend coins in the game, and you will never win as many coins as you spend. Eventually, you’re just waiting on the daily spins and coin rewards to add up to enough to submit a design. I go almost 3 days between actually playing the challenges. Losing interest fast and disappointed this game turned into one where in-app purchases are necessary to play.
Fun but can’t earn enough coins to keep playing
Initially this game is very fun with many lively bright design options. Voting is random and often unfair because you have to design with what’s available not what you’d choose but still fun. The problem is that after a few days of enjoying the game you can no longer earn enough coins to play. Some days waiting for free spins just to get coins and still not enough unless you pay. Most games have in app purchases to enhance the game not to just even play one design.
