More expensive for what?
They took away all of the other ebike options in Denver to put Veo not sure why because they’re so expensive and they’re not any different than lime. I’ve started using the bus because charging 13$ for a 45 minute “Pass” is insane. Lime was 3$ for a 30 minute pass…
App glitch stranded me mid-ride, support made it worse
App malfunction stranded me mid-ride in a permitted zone. The “End Ride” button was disabled even though my GPS pin was clearly inside the allowed grey area - not in any restricted zone. The bike publicly announced I was in a no-ride zone, which was embarrassing and incorrect. I walked 15 minutes while being charged, never reached my destination. Phone support repeated the same scripted line three times. Email support blamed me for parking zone rules that didn’t apply to my location. BBB complaint filed. Dispute in progress. First and last ride with Veo
STOPPED WORKING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET

They doesn't pay you back very fast after they hold you’re money in you’re account, it took me 5 days to get my refund for the first time i used it, if that wasn’t a problem it would be a really good app. I’d avoid useing this app too meany times in a day.
stuck unlocking
stuck on unlocking. no bike worked. left me stranded. stupid app- bad UX
Unlock of the E-Rides
App decides to think right at the most urgent moment of my day when I need to get across town, the app decides not to unlock any vehicle and stays glitched in the unlocking screen. Many of us in Denver hate VEO I’m beginning to see to why. Thanks a lot for your unreliability.
Hate them
Veos DO NOT WORK!!!!! Denver just got them. The map is inaccurate, all of them are dead, and I was just "unlocking" one for about 10min before I gave up. Absolutely horrible decision on Denver's part. I will try to avoid them to my full extent..
A TRASH company robbing you seconds and minutes at a time.
These bikes are trash. You scan and it takes your money. You get on to ride and take off as if your about to go somewhere but your going to spend more time trying to get the thrust going and before you know it. Seconds minutes has gone by. They lose thrust while ride in the street next to cars. The bikes aren’t maintenanced and is a safety hazard to the rider and general public.
Refund Request - Unable to Use Veo Subscription Due to ID Requirement
Hello,
Today I purchased the Veo subscription for $9.37. My intention was to ride a Veo scooter, so I signed up and paid for the subscription.
However, after paying, I discovered that I was required to provide a government-issued ID in order to use the service. This requirement was not made clear to me before I completed my purchase. I do not currently have an ID available, which means I am unable to use the subscription that I just paid for.
I attempted to cancel the subscription, but I was informed that I would not receive a refund. Since I cannot use the service due to the ID requirement that I only discovered after payment, I believe a refund would be fair in this situation.
I am requesting a full refund of the $9.37 charge. I would appreciate your help in resolving this issue.
Thank you for your time.

Denver removing mobility options
Day pass for Veo is three times the day pass cost of its competitor that Denver has now banned. Used to ride scooters to get around. Now I am priced out. Cool opportunity for low income folks, price gouged for the rest.
Worst service
So hard to figure out how to use and bike stopped in a slow zone fully (even though said was a *slow* zone) and then dropped off in that slow zone and no instructions on where to drop off (while not working at all) and then charged me $70 for like a 10 minute ride. Seems like that confusion is where they make their money
Scan
Robbed us paid for an hour it only let us ride for 15 minutes
Bad news
It doesn’t let me cancel my subscription
No Ride Zones
I find it very, very irritating as a person like me who doesn’t have a car and has to rely on public transportation. These no ride zones are nothing but a waste of money I spent $2.80 where I couldn’t even end the ride not only but you parked 7 bike in a no ride zone very scammy like of your company
Bad rewiev
Worst company to work with
I booked a bike just picked it up and it was broken, I tried to end my ride and it showed me that I'm in the red zone please move your bike to the green zone
I CANNOT BECAUSE THE BIKE IS BROKEN YOU WANT ME TO MOVE IT ON MY SHOULDER TO THE GREEN ZONE?
I cannot end my ride and they charge me $140
Right away I called the support and they didn't pick up the phone
I would like to leave 0 of 5 but there is no option

Returns
You have to return the bikes to designated spaces to end ride. Biggest waste of money since I had to then walk in the rain for 10 mins to my location
Come Back lime
It is not my intention to belittle this company, however I have been completely disappointed, I expected a better service and what people get in Denver are poor quality scooters, most do not work, you have to walk a lot to find one that works, most are imitation bicycles, the prices are very expensive, a complete fiasco. I hope the city reconsiders this situation.
It would not ride for me and I want a refund.
I want a refund!!
Shuts off when u need it
Way worse
Florida Vacation
Don’t think about using these if you’re staying in one of the condos or buildings by Lido, the fact that we had to park so far away from where we were staying defeated the entire purpose of the ride, complete waste of money and time. I will be switching to lyft app completely from now on

Way over priced
I used lime for the longest time, and the prices for a 30 minute pass was 3 bucks, in Veo which is now the only option is 15 bucks for a 45 minute pass, this is so stupid and Colorado should go back to lime
Terrible for Denver
I don’t know why they got rid of every one ride service. This service is terrible
Denver recently switched to VEO and it’s awful
Denver recently switched from Byrd and Lime to VEO. It was a mistake. There are almost no bikes and those you can find are 80% broken. Brakes, steering, battery, you name it, it doesn’t work. They do not maintain their fleet and the app sucks.
Ridiculous
Terrible ! They charge twice as lime used to , Denver is really disappointing!! Someone must have gotten payed to get rid of the competition and make veo the ONLY ONE , not the can charged double and more than half their schooters don’t work , you walk for miles before you find one that works , I hope someone sues !!! This is lame !!! How is this cheaper and safer ? Like used to charge 3 Dlls for 30 min this guys charge 15 dlls for 45 min !!!! A 15 min ride to work back and for used to be 3 Dlls not it’s 15 dlls a day !!! This is stupid , they’re not getting my business and buying my own schooter , great job Denver ,, if posible I hope someone sues , I thought monopoly was not legal ,, lame !!!!
So expensive
I don’t know if it’s economics, but it is quite literally four times more expensive than Lime
Sucks
Don’t work at all. Then had to walk to another one.
Garbage
Complete trash. Garbage app from trash people.
bad
app sucks
Horrible Scooter
I took this scooter around and the front wheel fell off. I crashed to the ground. HORRIFIC scooter and terrible design. I want a refund.
This service sucks
I’ve had nothing but issues since day one!!!! I got charged $20 for going less then 2 miles, bike stopped working 3 times in the process they tried taking $30 good thing my bank card didn’t let it!!!! I miss the lime bike they are way better.
I want my mf money back
I will never use this app again. Y’all took all my money on crip
La aplicación no funciona
Soy nuevo en la aplicación y no me dio los 60 minutos gratis y 14 dólares por 45 minutos un robo
Company Review
When a company wins its first exclusive citywide contract, you’d think that company would show up, show out, and perform to the best of its ability…Veo has managed to the exact opposite. 2/3 of the vehicles it deployed around the city of Denver are dead on the side of the road, the majority are “bikes” (more like mopeds…they lack pedals because I guess exercise is a foreign concept to Veo) that the company claims to be safer but have only allowed people sit/ride one-handed/text, the rate vehicle that isn’t dead can be ridden outside the service zone but then locks and can’t be ridden back in, and the sidewalk locks they use don’t make exceptions to bike paths. It’s nonsense. The Denver rollout has been nothing short of a nightmare - as someone who regularly used Lime to commute, this new monopoly is incredibly disappointing
Not safe
I would not suggest using these at any age. I had a bike stop and hit the brakes and I crashed into the asphalt. Be careful!
Overpriced
Veo monopolized Denver and the prices for a Veo pass vs Lime pass is more than double. By the minute is almost comparable but still more expensive.
Scam
Spent 5 bucks for a bike that didn’t work, almost got ran over
Ruined Denver Bike Share
I was devastated when Denver lime bike share was gone. This is a terrible replacement. The pricing doesn’t make sense it’s more expensive than an uber… I tried two bikes an both of them had crooked handlebars. And they aren’t even bikes they don’t have pedals. What a terrible service. Lower prices. This should be public transportation not a tourist trap. Shame.
Does not recognize Denver residents
What a scam I hope all their vehicles get thrown into traffic
Did not work with Apple pay
Could not unlock for an important appointment because it decided not to work with Apple pay.
Avoid at all costs
Legitimately probably the worst app of any category I’ve ever used. I would genuinely probably kill myself before I ever tried to use Veo to rent a bike again. Please please avoid this app at all costs - every single other similar app is better than this.
A scourge on my community
Random bikes everywhere. No regulation. And the things dont even work.
I miss limes/ birds
I’m was excited to try these however, since Denver has changed over to using Veo I have been nothing short of disappointed. They’re hard to find, somehow always charging, and the minutes pass for this app are more than QUADRUPLE the price it was for minutes on lime. This contract change probably wont hurt the tourist and maybe that’s all you guys care about, but it will absolutely hurt the residents and working community of Denver.
👎👎👎👎
Honestly, I think it's a terrible company. The machines almost never work, and the app tells you there's one at a specific location, but when you go to check, it's not there.
Serious Safety Concern During Ride
I want to warn other Veo users about a serious issue I experienced during a bike ride. While riding near traffic, the bike lost power because of a payment verification issue related to Apple Pay. Support later explained that the system limits or slows down the bike when there is an active payment issue. The problem is that this happened while I was already in motion. Even if the bike slows down gradually, drivers around you do not expect a bicycle to suddenly lose power during traffic. This created a serious safety concern and could potentially have caused an accident. I believe riders should receive a much clearer warning before the bike becomes limited during an active ride.
Please be careful when riding near busy streets, intersections, or traffic areas.

Garbage app, kiddie bikes
The app crashes after 0.5 to 2 seconds. I’ve uninstalled, restarted my iPhone, etc. etc., multiple times. Crashes on WiFi or cell. Does *not* crash if there’s no network connection, but also doesn’t do anything useful in that case.
But back when this company used to have a functioning app, I was able to rent their bikes, and I did. The bikes are sized for people between 4’ and 4’-6”. So what’s that, a 9-year-old? An adult human looks utterly hilarious on it. The pedals are attached to tiny, baby-size crank arms, and the gearing is good for about 4 mph (6 km/h) - comparable to a brisk walk.
Having said all that, the bike will in fact transport an adult from point A to point B. Eventually.

Denver
Created a monopoly in Denver and made it 3 times the cost for me to commute from school and back for me. It was 3 dollars for 30 minutes before on lime but it costs me 5 dollars just one way because they are “waiting” to add the minute passes but who knows when they’ll be added if at all. All because the city wanted to make it “easier” for commuters. Right.
Not enough options
They don’t have Minute Passes available in Denver which really restricts options in my area. Especially when Lime and Bird are shutting down and don’t give enough time to transition from lime to veo. Making it extremely difficult and pricey to even ride 10 minutes in the city.
Over priced
Really expensive compared to lime and Lyft. Please leave Denver.
Unreliable and broken
I tired three and they got me stuck in a dangerous area without transportation. Sad.
