Can’t turn off autoscan
I was using the app for a few months and suddenly autoscan won’t turn off. It’s now unusable.

Would Be Great…
It would be great if this app stopped crashing. I even just did an update and even after the update I scanned 4 pages of a book and it force closes during the scan. Then continues to do so for each scan after I reopen the app. Also it’s not as good as they would have you think at determining the margins of the page and flattening/cropping it at the proper boundaries. It’s better than most but could still use improvement especially when it comes to using the dual page setting. But I already paid for it so I guess I’ll keep it until my subscription is over.

2 factor authentication
The app used to be excellent. However, now, in order to subscribe, you have to turn on the two factor authentication for your iCloud (Apple) account. I have submitted a request to fix that issue. They said that it is an issue from Apple. I called Apple, they said it’s an issue from the app

DO NOT PAY
Was so happy with this app when it came out for free (actual free, no in-app purchases). It’s auto-scan feature was amazing. I was SHOCKED to try and use it today only to find that the best features of this app are now locked behind a subscription. This app is now worthless, and paying a subscription for an app like this is ridiculous. Greedy cash grab. Just use the Apple Notes scanning feature or TurboScan (ONE-time purchase).

It is one of the best apps out there. Unlimited count of page sharing. Now you have limit pages sharing per day and there is only subscription option and no one time purchase.

Greedy Developers - Money Grab
This app was incredible and thousands of people downloaded it and used it for free. Then they started charging to OCR. Now it’s strictly pay-to-play. The yearly fee is stupid high. I used to recommend this app. I even met with developers some time ago to give feedback via a Zoom meeting. Wish I had never supported this greedy company.
Subscription Ruining This App
I really love this app and everything it offered. However switching from free to paid is very frustrating. Not only is this app now a subscription, but there is no lifetime subscription. Are you kidding me? It is a shame such a good app is going to lose people by forcing a monthly subscription. I guess it’s time to find a different scanning app.
What flattening? Where?
I’ve been trying to find an app that will reliably scan and flatten sheet music. I’m still looking. This doesn’t even come close.

For scanning books, it works well, but it has a couple features in there which allows you to flatten images and straighten them out. The issue is that when you try to do multiple files at once the app crashes every single time. So if you’re like me and you have four or 500 pages worth of journals you want to scan and then straighten out or flatten you can’t do it because it crashes every time.

This was a great app until they took all the useful features (even the ability to export pages) and put them behind a paywall. Time to move on folks.
Subscription model broke the app
This was one of the most useful productivity apps on the store until the developers introduced a subscription model. Useful features, such as 2 page scans and PDF sharing, appear to have been chosen at random to use as levers to drive subscriptions. The interface is cluttered with sales pitches now, breaking the flow of productivity, and the whole experience is much more user hostile than before. It would be helpful if there was a one-time purchase option, rather than a subscription. I do not believe this app offers $3.99/month (or $47.88/year) worth of value, but I would be willing to pay for it once.
