Pathetic app
This indian app is full of ads which constantly pops up my phone every now and then. Back in US, I never faced cellphone carriers apps like ATT, Verizon or TMobile to push even one such advertisement on my phone.

They sell 5G plan by saying it reaches speed upto 1 GB/S. But in reality it's just few mbps.

Activation Issues
The app is totally useless. Not at all user friendly. The entire app is a marketing tool to sell products and recharge, recharge, recharge. No technical assistance. As if made for illiterate people. Don’t forget clients are smart. There is no basic information about how to activate your eSIM. First time and last time user.
Many complaints
Not able to update end date for auto pay even after multiple visits to vi help cente and the customer service agent did the updation on the app. I have been charged late fees. I even tried calling but I’m not getting any English speaking agent and I’m getting promised that I’d get a call back but do one calls. It’s been a month since I’ve been trying to update information.

Worst telecom, I recharged this time with 245 Rs and still SMS is not working. I am moving my sim number to other like Jio soon. No proper customer service, false advertisement and ruckus telecom company … don’t ever use VI sim or WiFi. The internet or calls also don’t work in Delhi.

When you raise a complaint and vi customer service people will close the complaint automatically without your concern. App is waste u can’t reach customer care number but this app will send u plenty of messages in day to update your

Vi service provider is a big trap. as you take a year plan n pay the money. Then ur real problems start . without intimation they will stop your service n say that trai has given a request where trai has no rights to stop the services after that service ppl will say your number is used in Anti social element so we can’t reactivate it but u can buy the same number after 15 days. CONFUSION CRAPPY APP
This app seems deliberately confusing, so one can’t figure out how much data you have and why even after it says you have data in one place, it tells you you don’t have data in another, and makes you purchase more data. It is one of the most infuriating and duplicitous apps and services out there. Wish there was a better service to switch to in India. Are they all this bad????

The latest release of Vi app and integration with Hungama is the worst ; I have Gold payed subscription through Vi ; yet the Vi / Hungama forgets its paid and Now It wont allow to restore Purchases as it blocks the access via popup. Please STOP POPUPS ON VI AND YOUR INTEGRATION APPS . Ridiculous no care for paying customers

Not helpful
Like many other apps this is also NOT useful. Except three options no way to address so many other problems. 198 and 199 are totally useless until if are lucky to reach a human talking to you. Can’t expect much from the human voice also because it is also automated as per their corporate policies.

I have 2 phones using Vodafone for me and my we ife. I use them only when we visit India. The first charge for unlimited calls + data didn't work in both phones. I have to re-pay, paying twice to get the calls going.
And where can I find the current plan details? The Vi app screen is full of ads pushing us to buy more plans.

My phone 9312836331 does not get signal to receive sms in us from indian bank even after recharging Rs 100 every week I try sending paytm verification sms but even after trying so many times I failed to verify my number with paytm My paytm has stopped working due to phone verification Every time I send SMS back to paytm it fails and so I am not able to login to my paytm account Even after several recharges I receive no bank sms due to T mobile signal problem

Terrible app. First, it is super slow especially on my slightly older phone. And on top of that, there are multiple ads that pop up, and waste time before one can get to some useful information or activity.

Change in Price of International Roaming
I’m International Student and Have to Active Indian Bank Ac. So i have to Turn on OTP and I recharged at 295 for 28 Days. Now it’s 295 for 3 Days! How it’s working in VI I can’t understand. Your Stock Price is not low because of Us. Stop charging Anonymously from Customer. Just for the OTP. Shame on You. Worst Service Ever.
