Hello. I simply can’t get past your CATCHA screen for email confirmation during registration. Cookies are enabled on Safari and Google Chrome and I am not having an issue with any other website.

ViCare will happily tell you have a problem, but give you no way to resolve it from the app. Once a year I get a combustion controller error and I cannot fix it remotely. I have to go to the boiler and manually press the reset button. It’s really a terrible experience for such expensive hardware.

I tried every number I could find. The app is therefore useless, much like the unit itself, which has only rarely produced hot water.
Difficult to connect
I have tried several times to connect to the Viessman network with no luck. Pretty frustrating.

If I use cellular data or a different network access is no problem. My problem now is that I have changed out my Wi-Fi router and the app won’t give me any options to hook it back up to the new one. Total junk. Get a different boiler

Stick with the boiler display
I can’t count the number of times the app appears to hang with the wheel spinning and no progress whatsoever. Definitely not intuitive and with a few mistakes for example, the heating circuit setpoint is not correct. I find it easier to walk down the basement and use the boiler panel to do whatever I need to do.Basically the app enables you to control the boiler settings remotely, if you are willing to put up with an interface that is not even as good as the tiny display on the appliance itself.
Pointless
Can’t even get past the sign up. Tried removing app, reinstalling, over and over, just and endless spinning wheel and no ability to sign up. Questioning my viesmann purchase now

Since the Company changed ownership I was never contacted by a person who has the knowledge of how this headingsystems works. I am really thinking of getting rid of the ViCare and going back to the Danfoss System, which by the way shows the actual temperature on it room sensor so one has not to open app the app to check the correct temperature. I am mad at the customer support in Switzerland which doesn’t exist.

The manufacturer did not provide the QR code to activate the app, completely useless. Only giving one star because I can’t do zero.

Time Changes Aren’t Correct
My unit doesn’t use American DST - creates heating issues. Please advise.
Worthless
This and the other apps that Viessmann producers are less then desirable. I have a new Gas Vitodens 343 and Vitoconnect 100 and on a given day the thing does not work. Problem ONE is that constantly drops the signal and you have to go to the heater to change the settings. Problem TWO is the app kick you and requires you to login again only to tell you it can’t login you at which point you create a new account and it tells you that the info you are entering is not valid. I will stop here since there is limited space for an evaluation .... The short DON’T buy Viessmann because the product does not work....service NONE. If they only spend less on the cross country ski advertising and a bit more on the product that might be a start.
No landscape support
This app will only work in portrait orientation, and will not work in landscape orientation. I have a 2021 iPad Pro 12.9” that I only use in landscape orientation (it is attached to an Apple Magic Keyboard) and it is nearly impossible to interact with this app. Major fail!

Broken app
Useless app does not run anymore since the update to version 3. On my phone and my wife’s phone the app launches, shows the “your new ViCare screen” for about five seconds and then quits. I have a iPhone XS running iOS 14.2. She has an iPhone 8 also running 14.2

Problems...
I recently ran into a problem after I unselected the usage of Firebase tracking for the app. The app kept on giving me an error that there is a problem with my wifi, Internet, etc. when everything with my Internet connection was fine. After I deleted the app & reinstalled, everything worked fine (Firebase tracking checked by default). This was a last resort since I tried to activate the Firebase tracking & I still got the same error.
Vicare app USELESS Vitotrol plus BETTER
Application is useless, Vitotrol plus was a way much better, interface and settings are not user friendly, have no copy of the settings for the other days, need to input manually for each and every day. Not comfortable. Not recommended to use this app, or need a lot of upgrades for this version of vicare ...
Last update made a mess of the temperature scales
Doesn't respect app temperature settings. Displays in Fahrenheit but must be set in Celsius.
Domestic hot water is even more of a mess because of the different temperatures displayed in different scales.
This nonsense started with the last update. Not acceptable. I don't care what you do in the code but as a user I should only see the temperature scale I pick.

Lokal Weather
In the upper right corner of the app there is an icon with the local weather. After weeks of showing the weather from another continent something has changed for the better but there is still something wrong. For example today when it is raining it shows the sun
Another disastrous update
Since its original app, ViCare has had a remarkable history of introducing changes to the app that ruin the user experience. I’ve submitted reviews on many of these. But this one’s a doozy - the new update appears to switch the settings to heat and hot water off. So if you have automatic updates on your phone you may suddenly find that you have no heat or hot water. And that will likely lead you to suspect the app. But it’s only after talking to my service technician to find out why the boiler was off that we found that the app had shut it off. Way to go.
Heating curve
Still waiting on an update because I cannot adjust my heating curve on the app. It’s not there any longer.

Just installed a brand new gas heating unit. App says hot water is turned on, you take a shower… water is cold. Reset everything, now it says water is off, although on the unit it says it’s on… can’t turn it off from the app anymore. Turn on heating, turn off heating, turn it on again, doesn’t want to come on in the app, but you find out that on the unit it’s on and you can’t turn it off from the app anymore. Basically the one reason you buy their heating units, for the integrated wifi… and it doesn’t work. Not to mention hourly programming is completely disabled and you can’t change the factory settings. About 3 show-stopping bugs in less than a couple of days of usage.
Outdoor temp
Your new update has put my outdoor temp tracking in unavailable status. Tried rebooting but it won’t come back on.
Wrong language
The language in the activity feed screen in the latest update is now in German with no apparent option to turn it back to English.
