I want to make edits so bad but you have to pay to use most of the things to make edits with. Y’all charge for way too much stuff. I’ll never make an edit on this app. I can’t afford it.

Hello, I bought a subscription from a gift card, took a trial week and a subscription for a month, the result passed a week of subscription as it was not, return my $5.99, why did I pay for 1 week, although I should have bought more for a month, not when it will not be

OK so I would go to try to make a video and it give me options or songs, but I didn’t like any of them so I went to my playlist and it said I must download, but I downloaded every single song on my playlist, but it wouldn’t let me sync them and I tried it so many times and I just couldn’t and then after a minute, it started glitching really badly so I just couldn’t exit the music option

Individual packs are gone?? I’m mad.
This used to be a good editing app for many people, including myself. However, since your greed as a company has shown now that you have discontinued the power packs and the ability of buying individual packs. I bought individual packs with an old account and was able to edit great without the need of paying for a subscription. Now the packs that I bought are gone because I was forced to delete the app itself due to updates not pushing through.
I think, personally, you have made a mistake forcing people to choose whether to buy an expensive subscription or to have a limited, low quality editing experience. Bring back the option of buying individual packs. Your greed sickens me if you won’t listen to people begging you to bring back the option of buying individual packs again.
On the off chance you do, please don’t make the mistake of bumping up the price. I’m sure as a company you guys earned a lot more money when the price of packs ranged from 1-5$ MAX.

Your power packs are a main reason for why your community prefers your app over others, but falling straight into the same layouts as others through subscriptions. I don’t understand who proposes these changes, but you need to bring these back. This additionally means your community who cannot afford to buy these subscriptions have no access to your recent content and updates.
At least as an apology, give us free subscriptions that we will barely have any time to manage because we are too busy focusing on our lives outside of editing.

Removal of power packs
The removal of power packs is so disappointing, and it’s apparent why they were removed. Subscriptions are more profitable than a one time purchase so the company is removing the option to buy power packs entirely. This decision reeks of greed and is just flat out anti consumer. As a user of VS since 2022 it hurts to even see this, putting greed over the genuine users of the app was certainly a choice.

They removed power packs forcing people into a subscription, making them buy a whole month worth for an effect id only use once, furthermore, the lack of subscriptions was the best thing about this app to me as a editor who would not edit super regularly, there is no reason to truly remove the power packs, just pure greed. also, using AI to generate their statement online. Ever heard of don’t fix what isn’t broken? 🤦♀️

I remeber when we could buy individual tools and effects, but recently I wanted to only buy one specific tool. When i checked the store, i could only buy the monthly membership… i was confused and looked online and realized that they removed powerpacks. I’m not trying to pay monthly or yearly just for one tool i’m gonna use. What a downgrade. I thought videostar was cool for allowing customers to choose if if they just want to buy a specific tool.

While I believe video star is an amazing video/photo editing source, They have decided randomly to remove power packs. ( power packs help editors like me who don’t have a lot of free time to edit but still would like to without wasting 5-6$ every month. I believe it’s 60$ per year if I’m counting correctly, I could be putting that money into more useful investments. )
As a person who constantly uses video star and uses power packs in order to edit freely, I would at least love some kind of explanation or update on the situation. However If this is a permanent solution for them, I will no longer be using video star and refunding the power packs I have purchased.

So like 2 days ago I renewed my subscription for video star. My app was laggy so I ended up updating it and turns outs my subscription got cancelled????? Please help I have no idea what I did wrong

this is very self explanatory and many people are very confused and upset about this feature being removed in the first place. it was only one of my favorite things about videostar- subscriptions werent mandatory to enjoy the app

Pls add better songs, I know that you can use Apple Music or Spotify to use songs from your playlists but please add actual artists like Drake or Taylor Swift and not some random guy like hairypitsrule564
