Stay away!!!!!
Spent hours setting up my travel map. Been to many places in the world and just recently added new destinations. I log in just to find out that everything I added before is behind a paywall! And it’s not cheap! Absolute highway robbery! #Deleted Back to square one this time

Since this app was updated, I can’t see any maps at all. You screwed up a good thing in your quest to charge for what was free. Deleting app.
Terrible user experience currently
DO NOT DOWNLOAD OR PAY MONEY FOR THIS APP! It gets stuck at "Where do you live" and there is no way to bypass it even after entering your home city. Even before this latest glitch, it asks you to change your password every single time you open the app, even though it says passwords are optional. Absolutely terrible customer experience.
Stole my Money
Paid for cities and they removed that feature as a separate option so now I have to buy premium for access to a feature I paid for.

If you’ve been to more than 15 places, do not get this app
I don’t remember the exact number, but after entering about 15 cities, I was immediately prompted with a message saying that I would need to pay a monthly / yearly subscription to continue. Absolutely greedy and ridiculous for an app that should be 100% free. Remember when free apps that provided a simple purpose were actually free? I’d even be fine if there were some ads on the side or something. But $35 YEARLY for an app that has a long term purpose? Absolutely not.
It’s a digital Globe with no Pins

it literally doesn’t work
Don’t download this one! Once I pick my country, the entire app just freezes - there’s no way to select a city. The UI is straight out of 2008 and it’s glitching repeatedly. This is a product that has high ratings based on its past efficacy, not its current utility. It’s frustrating and a total waste of time - don’t put yourself through it.
dishonest scam
i paid for premium last year. i can’t remember how much but i think it was around $10. it said it was a one time purchase, but now the app is saying i have to pay again: $35 for a year or $50 for lifetime. total ripoff for a glitchy app
This used to be a fun app
Now that you have to pay for all these different tiers, this app is almost useless.

Subscribed for 1 month to try to expand features. Only feature I can find is that when I open this, it tries to sell me another annual or monthly subscription.

Could not even complete where I have been as the list of nations is incomplete. Where is Mauritania? DRC and Congo are not the same. Don’t bother. And lord knows what they will do with your data.

Like the title says. Requires way too much personal information, which is completely unnecessary when the only point of the app is to track which countries you’ve traveled to. This is honestly predatory - don’t fall for it!
Where is Taiwan?
Taiwan was erased from the map. Not even sucked illegally into mainland China and just pretended to be another province. No, here Taiwan is simply wiped from the map. Sad to see mainland politics interfering in an American platform in ways that go against our culture. Shame!!
Requires you to accept marketing emails
After downloading the app and providing an email address, the app asks you to go through all your countries you’ve visited. Only afterward do they present you with the EULA acceptance and marketing opt in. The app will not allow you to create an account unless you “opt in” to their marketing emails! This should not be required- EULAs yes, but marketing emails no. Any app that is requiring users to receive their promotional/marketing emails in order to create an account is a red flag. I chose to delete my account rather than proceed with this forced marketing acceptance. Would hope App Stores look into this as it violates consumer privacy rights to disallow opt-out from marketing emails.

STAY AWAY!! This app supports consumption of endangered species and exploitation of native cultures. Travel apps are fun, and there are many many others that don’t do this. Choose a different one.

I have never wrote a review EVER… but this may be the WORST app I have ever gotten in my life. Very frustrating to work. I LITERALLY had to type where I lived over 5 times. I could not get passed it no matter what. I just want a simple app that tracks the places I’ve been. Do NOT DOWNLOAD.

How is possible that you has to agree to receive thousands of emails that you don’t want to use the app? Plus has to pay extra for add remove but no email scam chain? Blame on you.
Can’t create an account without signing up for email list
Sorry, if I can’t even try the app without signing up for an email list, it is a non-starter. I should not be required to sign up for marketing junk mail before I even know if I like the app. If this gets fixed/changed then maybe I could give a better rating.
Couldn’t even get logged in
I have been traveling a lot in recent years & decided I wanted to start logging locations. This was the 2nd app I decided to try, but I couldn’t even get past the set up because it required me to choose my home city off a list that didn’t contain my home city. It did not offer any way to manually enter my home city, and no way to bypass that selection. So, needless to say, I deleted the app.

Force Me to Agree to Marketing or Delete My Account?
I had been using this app and enjoyed it, but logged in today to a screen asking me to agree to a privacy policy. There was an additional checkbox asking permission for the app to send me promotional mail. I left it unchecked and submitted and was greeted with “Whoops! You must accept everything or delete your account. The two buttons to proceed were literally “ok” and “delete account”. I didn’t say ok. How insulting
Great potential, horrible execution
Got this app to log the places I’ve traveled to and even bought the almost $10 packet which includes no ads, unlocks cities, regions etc., of where you’ve traveled. However, every time I wanted to save a city for example in Mexico, I wanted to log Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Tulum.. it would not save no matter how many times I pressed the BEEN button. Even restarted my phone to make sure the issue was not on my end.

Good idea but forced adds/mailing list
I liked the app but even after you pay to get rid of the ads they force you to subscribe to advertising email list. It’s either subscribe or delete your account, the only options, I deleted my account t. I got fooled.

Works fine without Upgrades
So it good with the countries. I was trying to update cities I been and lived and it would let me add. It only updates countries. It also isn’t user friendly. I have to re-teach myself how to reset the city I currently live (still not accurate on my app). Also, something I can get over if the city updates work, is it has plenty of Territories as separate counties which love, but it picks and chooses which ones (such as Canadian territories not being separated from the country) and it also doesn’t acknowledge all disputed territory very well. For example Morocco on it’s map has territory that isn’t part of it, it is UN accurate, but if your going UN accurate, then a territories shouldn’t be separate. So Puerto Rico is part of the United States and not independent. I do prefer that it separates it. But I am annoyed that it picks and chooses for you who owns what land. To be honest I wouldn’t have even cared about most of this if the upgrades I paid for actually worked.

Have to enter cities and countries twice. For example; entering city as Barcelona in Spain won’t show Spain as a country visited. You must enter the country as a different entry. Not worth $8 or anything. A waste.

The app itself is fine. But to use it you must accept terms that you accept unlimited spam from them and their partners. There are other apps that don’t do that. There are plenty of websites that do not for free.

Good idea but…
This is a good app and I even paid to remove ads and to unlock all the features. HOWEVER, it needs to give more control to the user. They collect so much of your personal information. It’s like either use it and let us collect these information, or leave it. Also, I was forced to sign up to their newsletter. It said I can withdraw from their newsletter at anytime but there is no option for that in the map. I paid for the premium features but you know what? Don’t. None of the premium features were worth it. Let me start off by cities. You can type and choose the cities that you’ve been to and cities that you want to visit. But that is it. You can’t even see a list of those cities that you want to visit, let alone a map of it. Looks like they made it easy for them to collect our information. Inspiration doesn’t have anything. It said it would show travel photos. The only photo it shows is the thumbnail when you select from want/been. If you do download this app, please do go to privacy section and read the “What personal information do we collect?” Section. So far, what a waste of money it has been. If it gets improved, I will update my review.
