Thanks to the developer for a response that was keyed my comment about the ads.
However, my main issues are that you have taken a game supposedly geared toward seniors and made it less senior friendly. For example: the iPad and iPhone version are not the same, i.e. the iPhone version has Daily Tasks while the iPad version does not and the iPhone version includes occasional “magnet” helpers while the iPad version does not.
There is no way to play Journey. I see the badges but gameplay is not available.
The previous version had differing difficulty, usually changing the number of tiles from level to level.
Finally, the new version simply takes too long to complete compared to the previous version.
I’m all for improvements, too bad you chose to take an enjoyable game and make it tedious

Needs some work!
This is a really fun game! However, moving into higher positions, requires how much time you are able to spend on the game consecutively. Therefore it is that based based on skill, it is based on the time that you have to spend on the game at any given time. That really sucks but those of us who work or have a schedule. So if I stop at the game because I have to work, I get demoted. Who don’t have a job and can play 24/7 get to proceed on. That sucks. I will find a new game. Booooo
New Version?
I can barely play a game before a pop up says get the new version. Then it offers a soñataire card game. When I come to the app store to update the app I only have the option to open the app I have.

The new update made the game bad. Why change to a stupid “save block” system when the game of mahjong is so good without breaking it like that.

Hate the latest version
I was a big time player of Vita Mahjong before the latest update (won over 50 tournaments). The new version is more cumbersome and not as much fun. I haven’t played in a tournament since. I hope they reinstate access to the earlier version - even as an in game option.
Please change it back
I absolutely despise the new update to the game. Before, it had the number of moves on the top right. Now, it has a box on top to “save” tiles up there to find blocked tiles. Made it way too easy. I’m almost level 4,000 and play this every night before bed. I’m tempted to delete it but begging first that the developers change it back to how it was.
Lies!
The ad from other games state there are no annoying adds. Not only are the ads annoying but they are after every game! Don’t waste your time! You can “buy out” of the ads if you want to spend money!

Misleading Ads & False Advertising
I just ended up watching the ads thinking the game was going to be like that, but it turned out completely different. It has nothing to do with the ad video just cheap clickbait marketing. I don’t like games that aren’t honest with their ads, so for that reason: 1 star.

Thought it was to be as free. Now cannot totally remove the damn app from my device. Apple suck for this reason that you cannot permanently remove an unwanted app.

Game totally changed. Tiles changed. Awful distracting sparkles across the game board at every match. Way over enthusiastic graphics of supposed encouragement. I’ll probably delete.

Scam?
Downloaded the game and it is pretty enjoyable then all of a sudden you are taken to another game that you have to click on to continue as there is no way to x out or go back except to delete the app. Thought it was a fluke so downloaded it again and the same thing happens. You are frozen at the new game page and the only option is to go to that game.
Region not supported
Lost ALL my progress because of some “not so smart” policy of blocking the app based on regions
The new Master League is not working properly
I have won first place 73 times. I was happy with playing the game and excited to reach the Master League. I made it all the way through Glory level, winning first place on most levels. I then waited for a new game. All I was able to repeat Glory, which I did twice. I stopped playing because it became boring only to find that I was demoted to Master level for not playing. This is just fair or fun. Repeating the same level again and again is boring. I miss the old version with Journeys. I am not going to continue to play this now repetitious “new game”. I am amending my 5 Star recommendation to 1.

After researching many of these he adds I found their ratings to be terrible with merchandise far worse than advertised with no recourse to return or stop deceitful billing. It’s a complete waste of time and money.

Как только запускаешь игру, то телефон разогревается моментально! Сначала было всё нормально, но потом столкнулась с такой проблемой. То ли то что уровень уже слишком большой, то ли просто баги в игре. А игра прикольная. Но не стоит выброшенной батареи (точнее телефона вместе с батареей).

I’m trying to play a different game but every time your ad comes up it won’t go off. I have to get out of the game and come back in every time. If I have any bonuses going on I lose them. The new layout of the game is awful and since there is no option to return to the older version I’ll find something else entirely.
Greediest, bait-and-switch EVER
I successfully played and enjoyed this game since 2023. In April 2026, they changed the entire playscape: no more Daily Challenge, no more Journeys to play off the regular competitive grid. Suddenly, my 3+ years of trophies, badges, and rewards were wiped out. They created a singular, highly competitive, structural game wherein you can’t possibly win unless you waste away till depletion any credits you’ve worked hard to earn. It’s now a lose/lose proposition, but hey-the freakin house always wins. So sorry I wasted all that time watching their stupid and repetitive ads to gain points-all for nothing. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

False advertising. I was expecting something different and i only downloaded because of an ad I saw. When i went to play, it was completely different. The game is alright, i just wish brands would stop false advertising. It’s like they know their game sucks so they advertise it as something else.

I am so disappointed that after years and 200+ levels I now need to find a new app because you have completely stripped the option to play traditional mahjong and only allow us to play with the board. The game has been the same for years and taking away the option will lead me to just delete it until they give back the traditional playing option.

I’ve been playing this game for about a year or so. On a daily base. As i loved it. Won first place over 170 times, so am (WAS) as loyal as it gets. And it was always 5-star for me until recently. It was relaxing, yet challenging at the same time. BUT……after the latest changes it became a completely different game. You’ve changed the modes, traditional style/lay-out and making a progress/moving up the ladder now takes triple time; it’s ridiculous compared to what it’s used to be. Honestly, the worst update ever as you’ve changed something very good to something much worse. My suggestion is to make an option within the game to switch to the old version, or switch it back entirely. Unless you want to loose a good chunk of the loyal long-time players.
Rip off
Paid for the ad free version and after a while I started receiving the ads again. Tried to contact the contact PIC and never received a reply. It’s a good game if there were not so many ads and if they told you upfront you would only be ad free for a little while. Overall I gave this game a D for ripping me off.
Levels are complete BS
This game is addictive and consumes massive amounts of time. I’m not a fan of games that demote you for not playing at any open time in your day. Also the ads are relentless. I’m moving on to better Mahjong games.

Fun but ads ruin it
The game itself is fun and addicting but the long unclosable ads ruin the whole experience. Half the time I miss all my benefits from finishing a round because I don't have 5 minutes to sit thru a loud unskippable ad
Wanted to rate higher.
Unfortunately the ad for another game goes on interminably and froze my computer. There is no way to end the ad no matter how much time it runs. Totally destroys the player experience.
It used to be more fun!
They almost ruined this game with a recent update. Adding a holder box at the top works OK, but it’s not worth the effort to try to win the 24-hour award. Even with your best game you just get 2 points and the AI competitors advance much more rapidly now. Sometimes winning a game gets zero points. Before, a good game got 8 points! It’s a stress builder now, not fun anymore.
Was nice, now it’s obnoxious
After the last 2 updates it’s full of ads that force open browser windows, or don’t let you close them. The new format with an upper tray is irritating, and the clapping sound effect is terrible. There are too many other Mahjong apps out there that are relaxing, not annoying af.
