Well, I loved this recorder. But as usual, this App was purchased and is no longer free thanks to greed by the developer. The original web had apps always free. Things were exchanged by everyone. Now greed has invaded the web and Apps. Not much is free anymore. So this App has also been monetized. Frankly, not worth the money

If you would like to do anything else special ha ha you’ll have to pay four dollars every time this is a waste of time just keep the Voice Memos app. I was trying to do an overlapping thing like it said it could do, but no, it just lied all advertisement.

I got this to help with taking minutes of board meetings. When I asked for a summary, it gave me a message that “Sorry, I can’t do that. It sounds like you were talking about finances and volunteers” seriously? In fact those topics were touched upon, but only peripherally, with no numbers or anything negative. But even so, WTH! Have cancelled my trial subscription.
New owners
It seems to be a really great app and I paid full amount for the owners change and suddenly it doesn’t work it’s part of a bundle and completely nonfunctional you didn’t get my money back either
Virtual Trash, Literally Unusable
This is one of those apps that was awesome 10 years ago and has progressively gotten worse and worse. However in the last year or two that updated it with the usual UI and monetization slop however they also took away the ability to store files locally on your phone, and promptly deletes them randomly even if you manually download them all. So now I have to figure out how to save all my files on this now useless app and move them somewhere safe. If you’re curious the type of company this is- they are blocked from Google Drive associations because they immediately try to do something sketchy to your account. In short, ten years ago this was indeed a true 5 star app. These days it is truly not even 1 star.

Voice Recorder was once free and all the recordings that I had a lot because now you are charging money, you are not a loving me to find a used the prior recordings. Not good.
What a trash audio recording product
First. I’m tired of seeing nudity on an app that essentially shows up on my phone with their ads. It’s disgusting and I have no idea how they are able to stay as a default app.
Second, you can’t even trim audio? They have all the settings to do it, make your trims and then it grays out save. This is dumb.

Changed the entire app, for no good reason.
Being charged $9.99 a month! Doesn’t work
Have asked Apple Pay and this app three times to unsubscribe. Does not work. Could somebody please call me and sort this out and refund me?

Deleted all my babies voice recorded memories. No way to reach support.
I lost ALL my kids’ recorded baby voices and memories. As expected with AI dependency, There is no way to contact App support to get my recordings back. Website gives the 404 error when you send a message to their contact. Beware if you value your information you will lose it.

I originally downloaded this app in 2020, and it was as advertised for many years. However, I opened it today to record a happy birthday message for a friend and there was a banner of naked women at the top. Do not download for children. Apparently this app is happy to get money from wherever.
Transcription doesn’t work even if you pay for the Pro version! Junk
I’m on an iphone11. I’ve been using the free version of the recorder just to record voice memos. But now I have a voice file (MP3 high quality) I’ve already recorded using the app that I need to transcribe. So I paid the $5 for the Pro version which according to Tap Media will give you the transcription feature. I don’t need to summarize. The transcribe function doesn’t work. As soon as you tell it to transcribe a recording, it just kicks you out of the app entirely! Junk!

I’ve tried canceling the app and there’s no option to do so. I’ve emailed support as well and nothing.

Recordings won’t save
I have good luck with app in the past, but lately the recordings are not saving properly. There is no way to contact the company for support, their contact form loads a 404 page.

Can’t save trimmed recordings so what’s the point?
You can open the Audi trimmer and trim a recording all day but the save button is grayed out so… what is the point of even having the feature?
How do I hear my recordings
I have the app. It says it recorded, but can’t find files or listen to recordings. There is no menu. Pretty useless if I can’t verify if I recorded what I wanted and can’t hear it. Kind of pointless.
Cannot Save Recordings
There’s a reason there is no trial period. I paid for a lifetime subscription but while you can record notes and pause the notes, the stop button does not work so you cannot save the notes. Waste of money

I recorded a very important interview on this app, and it completely disappeared with no save option. And when I try to go to the help page, I get an error message.

I use this in my job to record people’s pronunciation of words… Inappropriate pop up adds appeared on the top of the screen. Not ok!
Do not accidentally press the done button
It won’t let you keep recording the same voice note if you press done, which means no editing or rerecording pieces if you’re going to take multiple days or sessions for one recording. This is so frustrating and I’ve just wasted so much time to just have to find a different app. If there is a way to do this that I’m not seeing, let me know. But I find it absolutely crazy that they wouldn’t have this option.
Lastest update doesn’t work
I don’t know what they did but the update I just made to my app doesn’t work. It opens but recording stops and starts, or appears to be playing with no sound or intermittent sound. I have hours recorded on the previous version. This is terrible.

You can’t upload more than one file to your google drive. When you select more than 1 file, the only option is to airdrop or “email” and newsflash the “email” option does not work. It won’t even let you enter an email in the first place

This version lets you record in all you want and after you rename and save the file it’s gone unless it’s very short.

I can't not get the audio file to play back
Great app, but...
It does everything I need, but I can't use it in front of my students due to the porn ads that appear on the app.

Difficult to edit
I tried to trim the audio but it would not let me save it.
Report bugs in app
I can’t save a trimmed audio after editing the Audi music recording so I have to cancel trims. This app may need to be updated for bug fixes.
