La peor aplicación
La aplicación sirve 1 de cada 10 veces. Cada que hacen una actualización, algo nuevo falla 😵💫
Terrible App
Volaris new updated app is terrible, I checked in the day before like usual and it wouldn’t complete my check-in saying I owed 1 cent, a penny yes 0.01 so I went back in to check-in and PAY the penny they were charging me. After I paid it still shows that I have not checked in and I have to redo the whole thing AGAIN. This is insane, if I do it again it charges me foreign fee to enter Mexico even though I have my INE and I already paid the fee. So I showed up today June 24, 2026 to Midway airport and the staff is not at the counter. The flight takes off at 2:32pm and it’s now 11:38am. They want us 3 hours early for international flights yet they are not here. It’s a shame, terrible app terrible service.

I always without fail have issues with the app. It never lets me check in online wich then forces me to wait in line and check in in person.
Too many ads notifications
You need to provide a way to turn off notifications that are promotions and ads and only allow flight notifications.

Volaris no me deja hacer check-in, a huevo tengo que descargar una app. ¿Por qué carajo tienen que hacer algo simple tan complicado? Mi celular no me permite descargar la app porque no tengo una contraseña ahora estoy a punto de perder mi vuelo o que lo sobre vendan solo porque a Volaris se le ocurrió esta mamada. Ya estoy haciendo mi queja con la PROFECO.

1 star for forcing check in on the app and forcing camera permissions instead of just letting me type in my details. App also runs slow.

They undercut oppositon airlines by charging you fees at check in. Cheaper initial cost draws you in, but then they upcharge at check in. Flying from orlando to mexico for the 100th time, and never had any other fees outside of the ticket. First time flying with Volaris, they charged us $52 per person for “mexican non resident fee” and $160 per person for carry on. Deliberate anti consumer practices to trick you into choosing their airline over transparent airlines.

Website is terrible for checking in, for making changes to flights, you can never reach a real person, chat bots are useless. I’m sure it’s all on purpose so this corrupt company can charge more in person at the airport

No deja escanear residencia temporal
Desde la aplicación no me deja escanear mi residencia temporal en el checkin por lo que me cobra el impuesto al turista que no corresponde.
Terrible experience
This is not the first time they’ve made me waste my time until the flights suddenly become “unavailable” even though they were clearly available when I tried to book them (I have an annual pass). The app is unreliable, disorganized, and honestly one of the worst booking experiences I’ve had.
Customer service was not help at all, make me waste more then 12 hours and they just keep saying to wait and contact them later even the I told them that I only can get my ticket 24 hours before the flight.

cannot connect to server
this app is completely useless, will not let me check in past emergency contact. keeps saying cannot connect to server. i’ve tried texting and calling their wattsapp number, deleting and redownloading, and powering off my phone but it’s definitely their issue. fix this if you’re going to require using the app to check in.

Horrible update
The new update ruins everything. You’d assume the cheapest flight is the direct one but it’s not. It’s the one with the longer delays and is placed all the way at the bottom. Why would someone want a 3hr flight to become a 7-11hr flight? Make it make sense volaris. I was a #1 volaris fan and this update with these crazy prices is not it. Especially when losing my place they decide to add on another $60+ for what? I didn’t even close the app for 2 minutes!!! Ridiculous

Desde la app si aparece una tarifa considerable, pero luego se intenta proceder y marca error, aun intentando con distintos dispositivos.
Cuando tomas captura del error que marca la app e intentas llamar ( cuando llamas te mandan un mensaje por WhatsApp)
Y reportas el error te dicen que quizá lo intentaste varias veces y el sistema simplemente lo bloqueó, pero realmente no intenté varias veces, y te dan la tarifa más alta posible..

Needs major improvement
This was my second time flying Volaris, and once again the app failed to generate my boarding pass despite entering all my information correctly. It feels intentional - like a way to force passengers to the counter so they can upsell extra services or charge for ‘personal attention.’ After struggling, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and it finally worked. Extremely frustrating and unreliable for a low-cost carrier that pushes digital check-in so hard. Need to fix these bugs ASAP

No es la mejor versión
Esta nueva versión no te permite revisar todos los datos antes de pagar. Eh tenido buena experiencia con la aplicación anteriormente pero en la nueva versión no te deja revisar tus datos del vuelo ni la información de los pasajeros o de asientos y maletas antes de pagar todo está por separado y una vez que pones siguiente ya no puedes revisar tus datos sin tener que regresar hasta el principio y volver a escoger todo de nuevo y esto causa muchos inconvenientes me parece justo que se hagan cambios en esto de poder ver todos los datos del vuelo al igual de los pasajeros antes de hacer el pago y así evitar cualquier error o duda.

Terrible App for an Airline
How can an airline app have so many error messages just by opening it. Attempting to check in is almost impossible. Right when you think you’re making process in checking in, an error pops up telling you to try again later! And why should I have to be connected to the wifi to use the app too??

The customer service desk don’t offer solutions and people and the counter is simply useless. The app doesn’t work at all. Stay away from this airline. I’ve seen airlines shut down operations and going bankrupt because the poor service drives lower sales. Well, if this happens to Volaris that wouldn’t surprise me. Their service is just terrible!

I been calling all the number getting on WhatsApp and trying to find a way to change name on ticket and all I’m met with is bots and more bots. Like seriously, it’s annoying and time consuming. If you don’t want to help your costumers just say so man
Unable to add travel documents/checkin
App only allows to add visa via scanning, except the scanning feature doesn’t work at all. There is no option to add documents manually, which is a terrible experience when scanning is broken, and it doesn’t even allow me to do it via website. FIX YOUR APP AND ALLOW CUSTOMERS TO AMNUALLY ENTRR INFORMATION VIA WEBSITE
Bad airline and bad application
Seats are as hard as a rock with no leg room, need to pay more for extra leg room and even those are uncomfortable and not much difference in leg room. When you try to change your flight date through the app it gives you an error code at the time of payment and when you call they charge you double to what you originally paid. Since it’s the only airline with direct flights from Fresno to Leon they take advantage of it. Definitely not traveling with them anymore. Prefer driving or taking the bus to another airport to travel in a different airline. VOLARIS SUCKS!!!!!!!!

Mientras intentaba hacer checkin, intenté agregar un lugar para mí perro y una selección de asiento. Luego intenté pagar y la app no me aceptó ninguna de mis mutiples tarjetas que funcionan perfectamente en otros comercios. Entonces ya no quise esos servicios adicionales e intete quitarlos del carrito de compras pero la app y en general Volaris me está obligando a pagar todo el monto de esos servicios para poder completar el checkin a pesar de que ya no los necesito por qué ya no tengo a mi perro conmigo. Es como si Amazon te obligará a comprar lo que agregas al carrito de compras. Es un robo a mano armada
camera needed to check in
The ONLY way to check in for this airline is through the app and you MUST have a camera on your phone. Makes it super different for people to check in. The camera setting SHOULDNT be the only way to check in and having too download that app shouldn’t be the ONLY way to check in as well. The should make it an option to check in through website desktop.

Yo page mi maleta en el app y en el momento de ir a imprimir el boleto me dijeron que no aparecía nada tuve que pagar una maleta adicional para que usted su app si en el sistematizara del aeropuerto no apareció y la señora que me atendió también nada amable ni porque le dije que si fue pagado.. Option to add passport manually taken away
This is awful. I am trying to check in a family member abroad, but only option is to scan the passport which I don’t physically have. Trying to check in online the only available option given is to check in via the app. So I am back where I started. Please fix this and place more thought on allowing flexibility in your check in process to accommodate similar situations in your next rollout.

Passport Scan Error
Currently I am unable to check in. When scanning the passport it says that there is an error with the expiration date, however there is not way of manually putting any information in. This bug needs to get fixed!

App does not work
I have been trying to use the app to book my flights for convenience and do not allowed me to finished the payment transactions. I have to make reservations directly on the website all the time. Now, the website does not allow me to check in, ONLY on the app WHICH IS CRASHING OVER AND OVER again, unable to get my Boarding passes, redirects me to WhatsApp with Volaris and is useless since is AI.
