Single users with multiple accounts
I'm concerned about the possibility for the Voloco team creating multiple accounts to listen each other's profiles on a loop and therefore manipulate the number of streams. This is becoming quite obvious, since single users even collaborate with themselves through their multiple accounts. The vocals between profiles are edited, but in most cases I can still tell is the same person. So the same profiles are featured and could significantly change the performance of using the boost option. Don't get me started on the recent flood of AI generated tracks and beats. I thought Voloco was a recording app, but I guess I could make a bunch of accounts, use SUNO for each impersonation, and boost myself to #1.

I was really only into it for the vocal effects because I think that they are some of the best on iOS.
I mean their are some really good vocoder apps for iOS and this one is definitely on my list of them
I can’t say that I want them to only go back to doing vocals but if they made just an small vocal app or split this app into two types of subscriptions (one for vocal effects and one for full productions) that would be amazing..
It just kind of stinks because I paid when the app first came out for vocal effects. Now, those vocal effects are gone unless I subscribe. I think the app is fabulous, but I wish they would have grandfathered in the vocal effects that were paid for like they did when they turned this into a sub subscription model. I understand it’s some hip-hop style production app, but it’s lacking in the true ability for making beats and controlling them with MIDI - so it’s just basically a toy now. If they went back and made a Voloco audio effect app that would be wonderful. Because this was one of the best quick vocoder apps out there when it was first released. I don’t need all the extras and I paid and it’s a shame that they just can’t restore the vocal effects for the people who paid for them and let all the extra production stuff be subscription so people can enjoy that as well. I don’t need to share my music through this platform. I’m not really interested in anything except for vocals. Hence the name, Voloco because it used to just be for vocals. I understand the terms of a free trial, but I also understand what good faith means for good companies, I would not recommend spending your money with this company or trying to free trial unless you accidentally wanna be out of $50 that will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Hey so when I was first using this app, the effects for the audio I needed worked great but since I bought the premium version, the effects no longer work. For example: I need a reverb effect for this one project and the effect isn’t working.
This app is a scam, I want my money back for the yearly subscription. Can’t believe I just spent $50 to use an app that takes away its core functions once paid for.

None of the tracks load and the auto tune is terrible don’t waste your time

You can’t do anything unless you pay money and if you don’t want to pay money, you can just click the X in the corner but still after that you can hardly do anything if you wanted to more you have to pay -_-
Worse Recording App Ever
This app is not it. At first I thought VoLoco was gonna help me record music on my phone, but it’s super limited. You only get ONE take to record and no way to layer vocals unless you pay for premium. How are artists supposed to add ad-libs, stacks, harmonies or even fix timing with only one track? That makes no sense when layering is a basic part of making music. On top of that, the UI feels frustrating because you can’t move vocals around to get on beat. I switched to BandLab because it actually lets you record multiple takes for free. VoLoco seriously needs to update if they want to support real creators. Right now it feels like a paywall instead of a recording app. Disappointed. What about the people who can’t afford it

10 dollars then the app freezes and can’t take your mailing address and then there is no way to ever discuss the headphones again. The app will also not save when you save. It jams really easy and it will not only change saved data of the song you are using but your whole library. I worked for hours only for this junk app to jam and erase everything from that session and that mornings session so at least 5 hours of work just completely gone. Only buy this app
If you enjoy torture and punishment. I am losing money because of this app. It is complete garbage: I am so angry right now O could throw a car. Whoever made this app is a trash person.

$10 a month is ridiculous!!!!!
Is you use this for fun shouldn’t be so much to keep up on payment. Can’t even have fun with it anymore is crazy how you can’t do nothing there anymore. You are basically forced to pay to use any features even the reverb is under the membership. I tell you this I have a lot of friends I told about this app and all of them have told me. I ain’t paying that much for that. And end up erasing the app. I gave those friends a good recommendation and now we all have to pay 10 bucks a month that’s the price is Netflix basic account price which benefits a lot more. Same thing with PicsArt they over charge and is no longer fun. Maybe $3 a month is reasonable, but keeping up with all these apps is a lot. So unfortunately from now on I won’t be telling any friends about it anymore.

I was pretty disappointed to find out I needed to have premium and pay monthly to add another layer (which is basically a voice over) to my song I was creating. I wish these apps were so much cheaper...

Ok so I been using this app for 4/5 years now and I never had no issues with it. But it’s updated a lot (so many times) to the point I can’t fix or put back my eq, vocal layers and echo and reverb settings to the way it was. Whether you fix the sounds, vocal layers, echo and reverb stuff to make it sound good or just the way you want it it’s just gonna sound a lil off. Never balances out correctly anymore so I might just delete this app.

Love the app, i’ve had it for years! Glad to see them growing, but it’s gaining more traction and seems to be incorporating so many more ads. I use to love the free flow of this app. Great app to create music with ease tho.
