Used To Be Good
I use this app for my business to communicate with employees when a call isn’t needed. It used to be great but it has become a glitchy mess. Messages only partially upload and notifications can come hours or days later. Not reliable enough to use any longer.
Why??????
Why can’t I hear anything even on speaker mode now? It’s SO quiet. I’ll never understand why developers will go from having a perfectly functional app to then breaking it with updates.
Many Flaws
This app has a lot of potential, but there are too many flaws in my opinion to make this a practical application for communication, especially that which is time sensitive. I have a new iPhone 16 and recently downloaded the Voxer app and paid the monthly subscription only to have it fail horribly right out of the gate. I would connect it to my Bluetooth, but the audio would play through the speaker on my phone, even though the Bluetooth was connected. If I was to replay a message, it would play through my Bluetooth earbuds, but anything live would play through my speaker, and there are no settings to change this. Several people in my team who have iPhones were experiencing the same issue. I do not recommend this app until they get these bugs fixed.

Help ~ It shouldn’t be this difficult to cancel a subscription
I need to cancel this subscription, but it’s not showing up in my Apple Subscription list, because Voxer is processing subscription payments on Stripe. I sent a support ticket and they’re telling me to search my Apple subscription list, knowing it won’t show up there because they’re not processing the subscription through Apple.

We’ve had this app for years most of us Pro there’s probably 40 people. It’s not a bad app except there is zero support.
They Delete Pro Accounts without your permission or confirmation.
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience using Voxer. As the owner of a SaaS company, I hold tech platforms to a high standard-especially when it comes to customer support and data management. Unfortunately, Voxer completely missed the mark.
Without any confirmation or request on my end, my Pro account was deleted. I never authorized this action, and there was zero communication or verification from the support team. Because of this, I’ve lost years of important client conversations and data that were stored inside the platform.
This kind of careless account handling is unacceptable, especially for paying subscribers. I’ve requested a refund and will not be using this platform again. I’m also advising all of my clients and peers to move to more reliable alternatives like WhatsApp.
This was an incredibly unprofessional and disappointing experience, and I cannot recommend Voxer to anyone based on what I’ve gone through.

Notifications need work!!!
Notifications never come through. It is super frustrating. A paid account didn’t make a difference, and no matter the device, this failure of notifications is consistent.
Awesome until it wasn’t
I’ve been without my Voxer since 10 AM this morning and have still not heard back from customer support and I actually have the pro version. I am very disappointed in the customer service considering I use this for my primary communication with friends and family! I have been a pro member for years!
PRO not worth it
I paid for PRO in hopes of rediscovering old conversations that meant so much for me only to find out that some messages DO NOT even play!!!!!!! I have tried with wifi, off wifi, on my laptop and still the same!!!! Why are we being charged for it when we can't even listen to 90% of the voice messages??? This includes the ones we sent!!!! It would be nice to be able to save or download the voice messages as a pro perk!!!

I have to create a new account to get my Voxer to work. The new profile worked for some time and it has stopped working. Support doesn’t have an answer they tell you send them information and when you send it they say they never got it after sending it 10 times. Over it.
they removed the walkie talkie feature
rendering it useless compared to whatsapp and telegram and cetera:( a shame because a lot of people on my contact list used to use it
Unable to open app.
Been using Voxer for years and even subscribed to the PRO option; however for the past few days the app will not open despite deleting and reinstalling. Customer service was informed yet no one has responded. Disappointed in the service.
Voxer Causes my iPhone to be glitchy and often is the only app on my phone not to connect online
I like the app except for the fact that it has so many bugs ranging from saying I have messages when I don’t to causing my whole iPhone to go blank and the screen to stop working, etc. //Voxer reached out suggesting that I create a ticket for this problem. However, I have had a number of techs over the years try to reach out to VoxerAnd they come back saying that it didn’t seem like Voxer had any interest in making substantial changes. Many of the issues we have complained about in the past are still there. ... I wrote that years ago and still have had problems and now I'm having trouble getting my messages to download. If I hadn't already convinced so many of my colleagues to join me in Voxer, I would switch to a new app.
Only allowed photos but still shows all
I used this app for business purposes. I don’t have a work phone so I downloaded Voxer on my phone. I always choose certain photos to show in thw gallery of the app. However, just went on the app now, even I chose one photo but still showed all photos, which is I don’t want. Because if I accidentally click wrongs photo to send, there’s no way to recall it. Please fix this bug, thank you!
Voxer on Locked Screen (FALSE)
Don’t say we have a feature to use Voxer on the locked screen when you have to already be paying for the premium version. Just lying and misleading. At this point I’m just to convince my friends to utilize a different platform.
I was lied to…
I came across this app in a list of supposed apps that allow you to talk without Internet service because I’m being separated from my wife for the moment and our services goes out soon, downloaded the app, immediately was shown no Internet detected when I tried to talk to her. Either I’m doing something wrong or I was flat out lied to.
Doesn’t even work
Nothing works. Can’t login, can’t reset password.. This is junk.

Fails on new phone
Updated my phone and Vox messenger is the only app that didn’t restore correctly from my data transfer. Takes about five minutes for the sign in to compete and then I get a blank screen in Vox with a message saying “Connecting”, despite being connected to my home WiFi., does not give me option to send message: no record button or any features display once the app is opened. I have removed and re-downloaded Vox many times, rest phone settings, powered phone off and on. Nothing resolves the issue.
Unreliable message delivery
Have been a user for 5 years. Would love for us to stay on the system, but it’s simply way too frustrating. What we have notices that certain individuals within a group session will not get messages while everyone does. As soon as you changed to different group, you can start sending that same exact individual messages. Message delivery is just extremely unreliable. Reinstalling and uninstalling does no good. And most of our members are pro users. Upgrading doesn’t seem to do anything. An upgrade account does seem to allow you to get all messages, but not all messages sent are deliverable. It’s a wonderful application if it could just work consistently. This past year, these bugs have resulted in coworkers fighting instead of realizing that is a communication breakdown. It has caused such havoc. Would love to stay on this platform, but now we’re all moving to something else. Sadly, a good portion of us have paid annual fee, but that’s certainly not a good reason to keep staying on the platform as unreliable as this application. It might be great for personal use, but certainly not ready for business users.
Completely inconsistent
The IOS app doesn't work consistently. Sometimes all of the voice recordings are available and sometimes they aren't. The web based app doesn't have a system for starting and stopping multiple recordings. So they just play continuously until they end. There isn't any way to troubleshoot within the app. Poorly designed and the tech behind it doesn't work.

Not getting alerts on IPhone
I pay an annually fee for Pro Voxer I’m not receiving any alerts on my iphone. I’ve tried everything. I use the app for work

SO. MANY. BUGS
I use this app DAILY to keep in touch with my best friends who all live in a different state than me. There’s always been little bugs here and there but for the most part it would fix itself and we’d move on. Until now where the last 2 days NONE of my messages load properly to any of my friends. I’ve connected to WiFi while recording and I’ve tried being just on cell service. I’ve deleted the app, turned off my phone and redownloaded it. It doesn’t matter. At some point, one of my messages may eventually load and play but it’s incredibly frustrating. I’ve never loved and also ABSOLUTELY hated an app more. For the love of all that is good, PLEASE FIX YOUR APP! I beg you!
Daily user
I use this to chat with a friend overseas. Daily. Pretty much throughout the day, so you’d probably class me as a heavy user. When it works, it is the best chat app I’ve ever found.
But unfortunately, it only works when it wants to, delivery is fairly random, alerts are a joke, and it’s only gotten worse through the last few updates. Since the iOS 26 update, I haven’t even gotten a single audio alert.
And yes, I’ve checked all the settings manually.
It becomes increasingly frustrating to the point of useless, and then the next day it will redeem itself. But the following day, here comes the troubles again.
Ridiculously, it’s STILL the best and most reliable chat app I’ve found. The others remain somehow worse.

Overly complicated app
This app is soooo buggy! The purpose of this app is suppose to be straight forward! It’s so bad that it’s motivating me to get into app creation and develop a FREE version of this!
Good but…
It’s great for what it is. But I won’t have service where I am going and the voice messages won’t send unless you have service so this isn’t really a walkie talkie app, it’s more just a voice messaging app. Hope this helps!
Voxer
I love using this app, and I use it quite often. The downside is that it glitches, messages, get erased from my computer, I guess it doesn’t sync correctly? When I scroll up and try to view previous messages, the app automatically closes out and I lose my spot. I wish there was something to fix this.
Horrible
The glitches are out of control. I think the App needs an overhaul. It’s getting frustrating because it was a great app and now not so much.
