Calendar NOT Correct
When booking a flight on Vueling, be VERY careful when selecting your day of travel. The way they have their calendar set up will confuse you. I was trying to book a flight for a Monday, but on their calendar, what looks like a Monday is actually a Tuesday. Now I have to pay a €50 change fee plus the difference in flight cost.

What kind of airline removes Jewish children from a plane for singing in Hebrew - and then disables the comments to avoid accountability? We’ve seen this before. Silencing voices, targeting a group, hiding the evidence. Shame on you, Vueling. You can try to erase the comments, but you won’t erase the truth

It is the worst. Period
Buying luggage nightmare
If you buy more than one ticket all the add on luggage gets added to all passengers and you cannot select different luggage options for different passengers.
APP does not work
The App always has connection errors when trying to create an account. ALWAYS. It says please try again in a few minute but I’ve tried again and again for a month. Who built this thing?
A truly AWFUL App
Living in Barcelona, I'm forced to use Vueling and this useless App. A few issues:
1) You are not allowed to use the App with a VPN. When the world is fighting against online scammers and VPNs are a defense against this, why doesn't Vueling let you use a VPN. How else can we ensure our CC details are safe?
2) The App is slow and often times out
3) The App doesn't store your personal details when it comes to checking in. So, every time you check in via the App (or website) you have to resubmit ALL your details from phone number through to passport details. Every other airline stores this information (including Ryanair), why doesn't Vueling.
If it weren't for the fact that Vueling is responsible for most of the flights out of Barcelona, I would NOT use this App let alone airline.

Terrible App
I select a date to book in the app, it is 9 pm in Eastern time zone, and the app books my flight on a different day, search selections are for Sunday, when I selected Monday in the search. When I reselect Monday after search is done, it purchases the ticket on Tuesday.

Dealing w Change from veuling
I received a notice that veuling changed the date of my flight from BCN with no reason. That change required me to change an inbound flight from lpg since the new flight forced by Vueling would leave 10 hours before I arrived in bcn. All of this was on the veuling computer which knew I was not able to make their new flight time.
When I tried to get an earlier flight to bcn to meet the new time dictated by Vueling that change, unknown to me, cancelled the out bound flight the month earlier. That cancellation to meet Vueling dictated change ended up with a flight credit.
Then I had to rebook all new flights, change hotel reservations and rental car reservations. All with no explanation from veuling as to why it so messed up my whole holiday and no assistance or sympathy from Veuling for ALL the trouble and added cost their change cost me and my whole family!!

3rd world app
Despite using this app pretty regularly for the past 8+ years there appears to be zero attention to upgrades or user experience. My biggest annoyance is having to resubmit all/some of personal data during the booking AND check in phase.
If they know your phone number in the booking phase, why do you have to resubmit for the check in?
All other airlines manage this (even Ryanair manage this seemlessly).
They need to sack their developers and focus on improving the experience so it’s not so frustrating.

app and website is garbage
can’t check in online either app or website, tried so many times with different set ups, nothing works. Generally if you have connecting flight you got get outside the airport to check in at the desk. very frustrating!!!
Bad Functionality, Poor Readability
The app is crippled in a number of ways, like not being able to thru-checkin codeshare partner Iberia - and Will only produce print passes for their own flight in this case

No cut and paste
This is the first app where the ‘smart folks’ in product development have decided to disable cut and paste functionality. Hilariously ridiculous! Also European Airlines are known to nickel and dime their customers. Much rather take the train. Thank god this nonsense doesn’t fly in the US, consumer protection, customers and lawyers would sue these unscrupulous operators to bankruptcy.
Don’t fly with Vueling
I had to buy separate tickets from my wife and I. We paid for checked luggage. We didn’t realize that we also had to pay for carry-on luggage. We had one carry-on. When we got to the check-in counter, they told us we wouldn’t be able to take it on the plane without paying for it. MasterCard and AMEX credit cards didn’t work. My wife’s cards didn’t work either. So I tried to pay through the app. The payment went through successfully, and the agent was able to verify the payment, checked in our suitcases and printer our boarding passes. When we got to the gate, we were the last ones to board, and impatient agent told us we we had a debt to cover, and unless we paid, we wouldn’t be allowed to board. I tried to explain to him that we had already paid through the app, and that the agent checked on all our suitcases. He refused to listen, and said that the system says we have a debt, and unless we pay we wouldn’t be able to board our flight. We didn’t wanna miss the flight because it would mean we would also missed our connecting flights. We begged him to understand that we had already paid for the suitcase. He refused to listen and told us to hurry up. Since we didn’t want to miss our flight we paid the additional 50€. He refused to give us a receipt. We asked him his name for reference he said it was against company policy to give his name and he hid his name tag. He told us when we get home we should reach out to customer support to get the issue sorted.
When we got home we immediately reached out to customer support explaining that we had 3 pieces of luggage (2 checked in and one carry on) and that we ended up paying for 4 and that we would like a refund for the luggage we were charged at the gate. They refused to give us our money back, despite several emails back and forth explaining the situation.

Avoid at Vueling and especially if you booked your flight with LEVEL at any cost… spend more $ with a different carrier and it will be cheaper, You will be extorted money at the airport!
Horrible customer service
The front desk ladies have no idea what they are talking about. I got charged and absurd amount of money for no reason and when I called to get a refund they said, “all sales are final even if it’s their fault and charged me wrong” 0 out of 10 experience and will never fly with Vueling again.’
No copy, paste & password manager integration in 2023? It’s a security flaw.
If an app doesn’t let me people use password manager, or allows copy/paste of passwords at signup, it sets up the company for weak passwords and password breaches ultimately. App developers: please learn from this and do a good job allowing your users to use use password managers and paste long complex passwords into the password box.

This app is useless. It continuously crashes and does not allow you to do basic functions such as checking in or booking an extra bag. No clear contact information provided to get a representative to help you. Very bad, do not recommend.

Terrible. Vueling makes passengers pay for their seat in order to check in. I’ve never had to pay before just to get through check in. Hustling their customers. I will file a complaint and hopefully they return my money because this is very frustrating to pay 50 euro for check in !
Not Clear
Your app is not clear as to what’s allowed in the cabin. While checking in, I paid for allowance of a “cabin bag” and then it asked me to pay again for another “cabin bag”. I hope I don’t end up having an argument w one your agents at the airport.
Unusable
Can’t sign into my account. Can’t change my password. Their (mobile) website didn’t let me check in online because my nationality is “not on the list of countries that allow online check in” which is pure discrimination because I am an EU citizens that was flying from one to another EU country. And also there is no way to contact customer services. Use this airline only if it’s your only option and you’re desperate.

Painful to check in, couldn’t find my booking number, or me as a passenger, took over an hour to complete my checkin.
Does not function and not reliable
This app crashes all the time and is very unreliable for being able to check the statuses of your flights and regularly will not let you log in because of unknown reasons. Not very pleased with its services and definitely needs to get it together and function correctly.

Quise hacer el Checking y sólo me permitió pagando asiento y yo había comprado un pasaje con asiento sin cargo.

Baggage Lost - Impossible to deal with vueling
My baggage never got to BCN. Since Oct 31 2021 Vueling have not delivered my piece of luggage or any information for that matter.
Impossible to deal with the robot at customer service. So many hours invested in trying to talk to Vueling and get my bag or info about it!

The worst Airline I have ever flown
I am in Barcelona, had a flight from BCN to Roma they change my flight with out my permission from morning to afternoon and didn’t event tell me ans they force charged me for my next seats ans when I tried to talk to customer service at the airport bcn they said they can’t help and fill out paper that’s all before my next flight in the airport … don’t give you headache

Banned from airlines due to a silly mistake
I actually would like to hop on a flight with Vueling airlines but I can’t.
Reason? My passport number was incorrectly given to them so I’m not a match. Three charge cards were declined last June and now I. January 2020 when I tried to book a flight I was rejected.
Has anyone heard of this???
I don’t know how to fix the problem??
