Update: after multiple attempts to get a refund on my own, I posted this negative reviews …wow! Like magic they refunded my money… guess it pays to be a squeaky wheel. I don’t understand why companies use the predatory practice of “auto renew” hidden deep in the fine print.

Wasted my Money

They contacted me because of my original review, so I gave them some very constructive feedback, but I haven’t seen any changes yet.
My primary beef is the puny font size they use throughout the app, including on the Apple Watch.
One would think they’d recognize that their average user age is 50+, or at least 40+, the reading glasses demographic. We don’t want to put our readers on when we’re out walking in a sunny environment, so give us larger font size!
And stop interrupting my podcast with those very verbose prompts! Just say “FAST” and I’ll know what you mean!

Shame on me for not taking the shortest possible trial. The annoying voice on this app thinks I don’t know the difference between slow, moderate and fast walking, and she keeps talking over whatever podcast or music I have playing.
How about a setting for brief announcements like “fast”, “slow”, “moderate”?!?!

I have tried to cancel this several times and they still keep trying to charge me $66. I have emailed their support 3 times
Scam - fraudulent advertising- unethical company
I was told I was getting a trial. They ended up charging me twice about $88 each time and I tried to email them and I said I can’t use this. I have medical issuesand what was in there garbage anyways - I told them medically I couldn’t use it - they insisted on giving it to me for free for a year. I told them I didn’t want it for free. I wanted my money back. They said they wouldn’t charge me again, but I never got my money back. They are a scam do not believe them on their trial and the content in there is useless. They could’ve been ethical and giving me my money back, but instead i’m taking my precious time to tell people to run for the hills and don’t go anywhere near these near these people they are unethical. And any garbage AI response that you put in response to this bottom line unless you want to charge back put the money back onto my card. Everybody else run for the hills they make it look ethical, but it’s not.
Should have a trial
I hate to purchase something that doesn’t have a trial. What if it doesn’t work or I don’t like it. Even if it was just a couple of weeks, you get a feel for it.

You can find better workouts FOR FREE on YouTube!
SCAM save your money
This app is a scam, they hide their billing and make it really hard to cancel. They don't send renewal notices until after they bill you, and the app is like something from the early 2000's. Save your money and use almost any other app

Trying to get this taken off my bill, but can’t get it done. Don’t know how to get a hold of you.
Frustrating
This is very frustrating as you can’t see anything about how this works until you purchase. No example videos, just pictures. No explanations of how app will work. After purchase I find out stuff it never said anything about. I still can’t understand anything it’s talking about.

I downloaded WalkFit App expecting a simple walking app, but what I didn’t realize at the time was that it included a recurring subscription. There was no clear reminder or notification before I was charged again.
Like many busy people, I didn’t catch it until a large charge hit my account. I hadn’t used the app at all-not even once. I actually had to redownload it just to figure out where the charge came from.
I immediately reached out to request a refund, explaining that the app hadn’t been used. Unfortunately, their policy is extremely strict, and they refused to issue any refund.
This experience left a really bad impression. Transparency around subscriptions and billing matters, especially when it comes to recurring charges. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this app to double-check the subscription terms and set reminders, because you may not get any flexibility if something goes wrong.

This is a scam. I downloaded this in error & they charged my apple account without my permission. When I cancelled the subscription they still charged my account & have not refunded my money even though I have disputed the charge.
I have later realized that on my Apple account, next to the download, it says FREE, but they charged my CREDIT CARD $25.98! I am disputing this charge! FRAUDULENT!

Don't download this App
You might download this app and use it for a short time, but cancelling your subscription is ridiculous. I cancelled the subscription 2 months ago and they continued to charge me.
Over charging
Walkfit charging me $38 a month, not a year.
Be aware hidden fee!!!
Was just charged $38 monthly fee! When you first sign up they confuse you into thinking it’s free - my guess is there’s some hidden fine print that states that you will be charged this rate monthly!!! When I canceled my subscription I was immediately offered a reduced rate of $7 per month. Criminal! They already took my $38. Stay away from this app.
Disappointing
This app is poorly designed. They say that it’s customized for you but frankly they could not even report back the weight information I gave when I gone through the questionnaire. Cancelled.
NEVER could log in
This company is tiresome in that I could NEVER log into my account and the best they can do is cancel my subscription but keep my money anyway even though I cannot log in. So very frustrating.
Fraud! Beware!
They are deceptive and ask for a card number to setup account. This is also done in a web view and not a native iOS app so it doesn’t go through Apple.
High fee
82.00 for 3 months is pricey and no advance notice when charges will occur. Too late to cancel once they charge your card. You cancel subscription and they offer it for 13.00. Bad practice all around.
Horrible Experience
I’ve used this app for almost 2 years. Most of the time it worked as it should but in the past several months it’s not tracking steps or workouts correctly. I’ve reached out to their support multiple times via email only to feel like they think I’m dumb. I’ve sent so many screenshots and all they tell me is they’ll escalate it then silence. Definitely cancelling my subscription once it expires.
Fraudulent
I never authorize this app to charge my phone each month $38.95. When I tried reaching out to them, they wanted to charge me $5 to speak with an agent but in the small print, they wanted to charge 38 additional dollars and subscribe you when all along you are trying to unsubscribe!!! Sneaky, slimy and a SCAM!!!! they should be charged for the fraud

Do not download this app. They charged me 39.99 after acting like it was only a 9.99 one time fee. And When I went to delete my information on the app it would not work! This is a scam!
janky app. stats don't update
very janky app. stats and data fail to update in real time at best. lucky if they do upload. i would not recommend this app
Difficult to follow
I started with the Walk Fit and found it extremely difficult to follow the movements as it moved too fast. I don’t know how older people like me can comprehend the instructions and try to copy them when the video is already on to the next move.
I then tried the Tai Chi, which was my reason for getting the app.
I tried to cast it to my TV so I could see the movements and not have to hold my phone, but it didn’t work. I have brand new large iPhone and when I selected my TV as the location to cast to, that was it. Only option was to disconnect.
I had to keep pausing the video and put my phone down so I could try to get the movements right.
I did 3 of the Tai Chi classes and am too frustrated with the method of teaching.

Doesn’t deliver
The 28 day Tai Chi walking plan is NOT available as advertised. There is nothing on the app you cannot find for free on the internet.

Not what I was expecting. It is very user friendly, and slightly encouraged me to get up and do something. But the workout was very boring and definitely not engaging enough to make a difference in my body. I signed up for one month ONLY for 9.99 however was alerted by my credit card company for a fradulent charge of 39.99. WalkFit renewed my subscription without my consent at 40/month. I instantly went in to cancel (even though I never authorized) and WalkFit offered me the same subscription for 7.79/month. Also not worth it. Scamming app developer, money hungry? Not sure. Lost my business for sure though.
Glitch?
App is not opening all the way…? Gets stuck on the intro screen after I click “I’m ready to do this”. Then it goes to a white screen that has the intro “…ready to take your first steps” and there is nothing to click on to advance to a new screen.
