WalletHub: Credit & Budgeting

WalletHub advertises their 30day refund guarantee in-app on the same feature page you’re shown when purchasing your subscription. However your in-app purchase cannot be refunded as the policy only works for directly purchased subscriptions (from their website I guess).
This seems like a plainly deceitful tactic.

App has a lot of potential. I’ve been using app for a few years but app seems to be getting worse. App will alert user with a number in the app that user has a notification. Opening the app doesn’t take the user to the notification. User has to click around and may or may not find the notification. Compared to other financial apps this one needs work and isn’t worth the paid version ias both my financial institutions are not supported by its third party. Additionally, they offer a 30 day money back guarantee but fail to state that if the sign up is paid through Apple you don’t. Account stays active for a year then stops putting the user out the $100 fee. Deceptive. There are better apps out there that support your bank, credit union are upfront about ‘30 day money back guarantee’ buyer beware.

I love all the information available in the app, but notifications pile up despite have read and responded to all alerts. I hate having that big red 7 in the upper corner of the App on the screen.

I have used this app for years and it used to be great. You can’t dismiss the card offers without jumping through hoop after hoop and it’s infuriating. I have a persistent notification icon that I can’t ever get rid of and there’s nowhere in the app to show you what the notification is and they are constantly trying to upsell you. I deleted the app and have gone back to CK.
