Logged in out of curiosity and missing friends after 3 months, more hackers are playing the game again. First thing I’m greeted with is a bombardment of overpriced simple items. It’s really a shame. If prices were more reasonable, if the game was actually affordable to play, if they handled hackers, and created new content once in a while vs new money pits for players, this game would be one of the best in the world. I went on twitch to see if someone was streaming, one. There was only one person streaming and she had 1 person watching, me. That’s how dead this game is now. Pure shame. The mismanagement and poor control of the gem has kept it irrelevant. And they never listen to players. I predict the same issues will exist for the next 10 years as they have for the last 10 years.

I never have fun, it’s heavily P2W, the high quantity of ads i receive for this game feels like harassment, i recently uninstalled the game and i feel that nothing of value was lost. If you’re a masochist, I recommend!

I have played this game from almost the beginning...it was great when I started, now corporate greed has taken over and if u want to be successful, u will need to spend $’s to get bots and weapons that are competitive...in addition, the lag has become more than obtrusive, it’s ruining game play. So download and play, but prepare to b disappointed unless ur willing to part w/ur $’s.

They determine if you are going to win or lose. The matches are lop sided, 1v6 or 2v6 , with opponents being extremely hard or extremely easy. It’s getting real boring now. They’ve changed the game so much that you can’t win any points, have to watch ads. Corporate greed at its best!

The game has become completely uninteresting. After the recent changes, there are these “unkillable” robots that seem almost invisible or impossible to damage. It breaks the entire balance - you shoot, you hit, but there’s barely any damage.
As a result, a single robot can wipe out an entire team, and skill no longer matters. The game loses its meaning because the rules are no longer fair. In a good game, if you hit your target, it should take damage. That’s not the case anymore.
It’s just not fun to play anymore.

Worst game you can possibly download
Undoubtedly one of the worst games on the internet. Used to be great
Was an amazing game on release and super fun to play, but this is not a game anymore. It’s a paid subscription where you play to lose to increasingly overpowered robots and weapons that the developers knowingly release to tilt their own players into spending more money. Someone who spends 10$ can eclipse what you have grinded for for months. This is about 1% of the things wrong with the game as well, and as someone who has reached the highest league in this game and seen all it has to offer I can with 100% certainly say that this is the most sad and pathetic game excuse for a “game” I’ve ever played. Stay away

Money Grabbers
Back when the game first came out it was good but they got greedy and now the game is pay to win. The meta is constantly switching making anything you recently spent money for obsolete anyway and it’s such a hassle to keep up when I just want to casually play and play quick play. I die almost instantly not being able to leave my spawn and the game doesn’t reward any money for the cost of upgrades, especially when trying to upgrade to MK2. They added so many different currencies that upgrade to many different things. I miss the game this was back in 2015
Thieves
They should be sued for allowing people to cheat and allowing people to deliberately lower their game rating. That last part is in their own rules and they do nothing about it and the reason is because they know people will spend more money to upgrade their bots and equipment thinking that’s gonna help. It doesn’t I’ve tried and they are 100% manipulating kids who play this. Not at all sure how they are still allowed to do this. Oh and all of my reviews get taken down and I’m sure this one will too

Like so many other once-great games, the new owners turned War Robots into a money-grub. So sad to see it drop from top 15 games down to 160s. As a result, so many real players have left the game (including 25 of 50 players in my clan) that the only way the devs can keep wait times below 1 minute is to use AI players. Look it up on Reddit, everyone knows it’s going on. You have to play 7-10 games vs AI players EVERY SINGLE DAY before the matchmaking becomes reasonable. If you still have time to play more battles after that, you’ll be clawing back the league points you lost playing vs AI. Sound like fun? The devs make excuses, but they know this is true.

I just wish it would go back to normal. Everyone just uses p2w and I never get matched with my rankings anymore :( if it did go back to normal it would be 5 starts. OH and also the “report” button does NOT help because when O report someone saying they are to powerful for their league it never fixes the problem.

Been playing this game for a long time, it’s fun but now has become a pure money suck…. Every time you grind out a setup they nuke it and come out with a new latest and greatest robot which is unstoppable. New players can build y bots at level 2 right from start not having to grind. But they have made upgrades so expensive,
New robot comes our day one and some players already have all the weapons, pilot, drone and robot maxed to level 3. So if you want to spend a boat load to be competitive every month this is your game….. good luck…. Dealing with the non stop hackers and cheaters. Which seem endless for a game that demands so much money to play.

Whenever I play I have to go up against people with way better stuff when I can barely upgrade my stuff. Can you make a balancing system where if some buys a lot of stuff they go up against people who buy stuff to?
