Getting phone call notifications while set to do not disturb
I’m on an iPhone 16e with iOS 26.3. Even when my WebEx availability is set to “do not disturb” I’m still getting notifications and ringing on my phone when receiving phone calls to my work phone number that is connected to my Webex. This is a recurring problem that has been happening for months now, I’m surprised this bug hasn’t been resolved yet and it is extremely annoying.
Bypasses all attempts to silence
I only need this app when I’m working remotely. I ended up removing it from my phone because the app bypasses all attempts to silence notifications, including bypassing DND settings.
Requires separate work phone
If you’re done with your workday and you turn off all Webex notifications both in the app and iOS, turn off Webex’s access to cellular data, turn off background app refresh, turn off unknown callers, and turn on iOS Do Not Disturb, Webex will bypass everything and you will receive calls throughout your off-hours. You can plug in DnD in the app, but that turns off the office landline’s ability to receive any calls as well (so not an option if other people at your office work when you don’t). The only option is to delete the app every time you’re done with the workday, then reinstall and log in every morning, or put get a work phone and turn the phone off when the workday is done. It’s clearly just an unintentional bug, but one that makes the app unusable on your personal phone.

Freezes constantly
The app used to work just fine. Now the majority of the time when I try to use the app it freezes indefinitely. Closing and restarting the app doesn’t help. Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn’t help. I’m required to use it by my work, so it is a constant headache.
Voicemail broken
Voicemail screen doesn’t load. Report issue button does not work.
Unreliabable
Calls do not always come through; voicemails are often delayed. If you need calls to come through and need consistent reliability, this is not a good choice in apps.
Freezes and Lags
The last few weeks have been horrible using this app. I have to make calls frequently and between the constant crashing and failure to load meetings, phone calls, or voicemails, this app is proving to be useless. I don’t know what updates they’ve made that bricked this app but it’s actually horrendous.
Horrible App
Everytime I open it, there's a high chance that it'll freeze or crash. I have to use this app for my job, but it makes it extremely difficult to even contact my clients. Updates are a non factor with this one.
Can’t easily access chat or user controls while screen sharing
Absolutely horrific, worst app I’ve ever had to use in my life! My teacher was sharing his his screen and because of that, I couldn’t access chat or my user controls, at all! Kept just forcing me into full screen with his screen! I’ve never seen anything more frustrating! It also opened up about 11 windows in my App Switcher.
Glitchy
Spontaneously enables AI summary button that I keep turning off because its in the way of the message ui.
No way to see a full shared screen without talker bubble
There is no way to see full shared screen without seeing a bubble overlayed with the person speaking. While it’s a great concept, this is VERY distracting when attempting to focus on slides without seeing someone’s name pop up or wanting to take a clean screenshot.
Please allow an option to totally hide the speaker or drag it mostly offscreen.

Useless on iPhone and iPad
I have to use Webex for work meetings and calls almost daily. On both iPad and iPhone the app causes my device to heat to insane numbers that it crashes my device to the point it has to cool off before I can use my device again. I have never had heating issues on any other platform for meetings. App needs serious optimization for camera meetings.

Glitch with with AirPods
Giving unable to connect to AirPods and asking to switch microphone. It’s frustrating. And also showing the status icon as warning(!) symbol
Terrible app
Least user friendly app I’ve ever had the displeasure of using. Trying to access your recordings, edit them, and share them is like pulling teeth. Do not waste your time with this horrible app
A pain to have 2 apps
I was using Webex Meetings but that no longer supports my meetings, so I have to switch to this app. Unfortunately now not only do I have 2 apps, but neither will actually start the meeting!
Privacy Glitch
I joined a meeting on my phone with my mic muted and camera OFF, like I always do. A few people joined late, which was fine, but at some point the app randomly unmuted me and turned my camera ON - with zero warning! I didn’t even realize it until someone told me my video was showing.
Super awkward and honestly a huge privacy issue. This should never happen on a platform that wants to brands itself as a business grade platform. I’m not trusting this app/platform anymore!

One of the worse conferencing app on the market
You think this would be a good conferencing app. The problem is that I had a big meeting with multiple presenters. I wanted to use my MacBook Pro for the main Webex feed. That app was OK and did the job, however, I wanted to use my iPad Pro with headphones. I was using my AirPod Pro 2 headphones to monitor the actual sound quality of the Webex conference through the iPad Pro by logging in with a different account. Before the meeting I listened to Apple Music and the Air Pods work fine. I stopped the music and closed Apple Music and started Webex for iPad. This app refused to work through the headphones but insisted on the iPad speakers. I went to mute the speakers and Webex app kept unmuting the speaker. I tried to kill the Webex app, but it kept restarting itself. I did not know Apple would allow a third party app to control the operating system of an iPad. I have had this problem before. With this app, you cannot use a separate web cam or separate microphones other than the built-in iPad camera and microphone.
Can’t turn off inbound calls
I needed this app to join meetings remotely (after the Webex Meet app stopped working). But this app makes my (personal) mobile phone ring whenever my office phone rings. Even after hours or when I’m on vacation. I tried turning off all notifications and disabled running in the background but it still rings. My IT group said there’s nothing that can be done except uninstall the app. So that’s what I did. But now I can’t join meetings remotely.

Way too slow and bad they should actually try to improve it
Phone service unusable
Constantly disconnects me from the calling service. Getting back in requires either a series of random actions (deliberately using an incorrect password followed by the correct one has worked before) or that I wait over an hour. Whoever sold our IT guys on this product got scammed. Do not use it.
Janky at best
I cannot fathom why this app is rated so highly. It is objectively the worst work messenger option out there, including Teams.

Cannot boot app
App doesn’t even make it past the launch screen anymore. Have to restart 5-6 times and hope it loads. Please restore functionality
Updated app is non-functional
I downloaded the app for a call with a business that uses webex as their video conference provider. It connected the call, but the audio wouldn’t connect with my bluetooth headset nor speaker. All the buttons (audio mute, video on-off) were non-functional during the call. And when I tried to report the bug, it would only accept input if I first created an account. Truly a terrible product, even compared to other video call solutions.

I use this for work. As of today with the new iPhone 16, I can log in cause the app freezes
App crashes every few seconds
The app crashes while using it actively or when it’s just open. Now can’t even sign in to my account since it freezes. Fix it.

Slow and non responsive! A full minute will pass before it recognizes ONE number input. FIX THIS NOW
App resets constantly
I have to type a message in less than 5s or app just boots. Having audio or video calls is not even an option of course because the app resets as well without any notice.
Super slow now
The most recent update has ruined the app. 20-30 second delays any time you open it or click on something. And the messages tab in calls doesn’t show up half the time.

I need to utilize the application for work purposes. However, whenever I log into the app on my cell phone, it shuts down as if it is glitching. Is there a fix? Thank you for your assistance.

App won’t work at all after update.
Keeps giving a pop up page asking me to update even though I have the most current version. Currently unusable. Will update rating when this is fixed.
Can’t access messages on mobile
Started a couple weeks ago. I updated and rebooted. Annoying.

WebEx is so behind, outdated and clunky, it can do a lot but does little well, not at all intuitive and the mobile app has been getting less and less reliable. This latest update is causing constant pop up screens and notifications are gone on Lock Screen. I only use this because my company uses it. Much better communication apps out there
App keeps routing to browser
It’s in a loop and takes me to the browser. Says to download app when app is already downloaded.
Keep kicking out to message someone or not hold screen for more than 1 second
This Webex issues started coming after Sunday and keep kick us out even though delete it. Restarted phone, deleted app, reinstalled back, no luck. Hopefully they resolve ASAP

Just a heads up to those giving bad reviews for the issues of endless loops to the website. This is not an issue with the app. This is our company blocking access from unapproved devices. Gave 1 star myself just so others will come across this and know.
