Terrible Shot Algorithm
I will continue to write reviews for this game until they get rid of the 8th Grade coding team they use for their shot algorithms. There is absolutely no consistency from hole to hole and course to course. This is why I will never spend money on this game. It is not worth it. Here is an example: Headwind, uphill shot, and I hit the “ding” for a perfect shot with less than the required distance to the hole, and the shot goes 20 yards over the green. It is not physically possible for this to happen, but yes, it happens ALL THE TIME!!! DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON THIS GAME!!
CHANGE THE GAME BACK!
Change the music and childish interface back to what it was for 15 years!!!….. My dog hates the new music too!…. You guys really, REALLY suck. Change it back

Genuinely worst game every played
It pay to win yet even when you pay you don’t win. No matter how well you hit a shot it doesn’t work. You can hit the same exact shot with same conditions five times and they’ll all be different. Genuinely a terrible game
Lost everything
Great recent update. Lost all my data and stats, money spent, etc. Can’t even log in or create a new profile now. Was a great game, but had to go and ruin it with glitched updates.
Horribly glitchy right now
Slow Loads or no loads. Just tried to play a game and it loaded but no access to club selection or shot meter. Opponent did not have the problems. Two lost balls and time expired as I tied to play. Since the changes in the format the game is not recommended until they fix the issues.
Fix the problems you caused
Earning prize boxes is a waste of time. Since the disastrous update, all apparel items receiving prize boxes points are listed with ZERO points. Tonight the silver box earned me 2 points for the Swing Edge Cap. It showed the cap with ZERO points. My apparel list show it has 156. FIX THIS!
Highly Rigged
I still play it once in a while, but it’s kind of a boring game which requires a prodigious outlay of money for better equipment in order to be competitive. And if you don’t pay the overloads, the algorithms seem to be highly weighted against you. Skill is kind of irrelevant.

Bait and switch
WGT could be the perfect family game if players weren’t restricted to “one account per household.” In a world where EVERYONE has a phone, WGT is the only gaming app that invites you to play a phone game, and bans players for playing. It’s extremely disappointing for family and friends to be removed after years of playing. I’ll NEVER invite anyone to play this game again.
Quit this rip off
After many years of play I’ve had enough of the blank out screens and even after sending notices to customer support nothing is fixed. It’s on their end! Never anything offered as refund, always having to notify them of the problems and NEVER any feedback offering refunds of coins bought/spent.
Deleted my account
Spent a weekend playing. Came back and cannot get into my account. Reset password. Account is just gone. Scam company
Failed us Players
New update is a comedy of errors. Not even sure where to start with the gameplay but it’s awful. Someone should lose their job over this farce.
Thousands of fake reviews!
This game is a vending machine. Don’t waste your time if you want to play golf because they will have you play short little games of their choosing so they can get back to the advertisements faster. I would say nearly all of the reviews for this are fake. Don’t bother!

Since the update the shot dynamics have changed. I’ve been playing for ten years and now it’s like starting over. Can’t even judge a shot anymore. Stay away from this amateur developed game that just screws you over. Should be removed from this platform.
Money grab
I tried this out for a couple weeks. It was ok but the game is centered on getting you to spend as much money as possible. They make things overly complicated just to try and get you to spend money. There is way too much nonsense going on if you just want a realistic golf game to play.

You also will get random wacky shots. For instance, you hit a ball perfectly and it goes out of bounds. The next shot you hit exactly the same and it goes right down the middle. Wtf.

Cheat
Playing a par 4, head to head we tie and go to the tiebreaker. My “opponent “ hits first, beautiful shot 10 feet from the cup. I go, perfect swing but my ball goes so far right not even on the green. Now how am I not supposed to feel like this game is rigged and cheats!

Deleting game AGAIN
Once again this game has humiliated me! This new version sucks. Being a tour master, I get paired with tour legends, champions, tour champions. I don’t stand a chance. The swing meter is ridiculous. The green patch is so far off you will not get an accurate shot. As usual for an example, 8 iron, meter is max 154 yds, 10 mph wind at my back. Distance to hole, 150 yds. I swing what should be 150 yds with back spin. Shot goes 144. Another example. Wind shows cross wind at 10-12 mph. Aim a little right. Shot goes long, wind was really a tail wind. Game is so disappointing, frustrating and should be removed from the apps.
Don’t waste your time.
The problem is that executing shot mechanics correctly isn’t enough, you have to spend an unreasonable amount of time playing (or maybe money) to afford the equipment that might make the game enjoyable eventually.
Designers: rank me up faster and easier, or lose my attention. Not a good enough game to be so slow.

Every time I go to play this game it asks for an update and I can’t proceed. This game sucks.

This game was absolutely terrible. The physics were terrible, graphics were so mediocre. I have no words.

Hits over green side bunkers often end up falling 20 yards short into the bunker for whatever reason and changing putting aim rarely changes the shot direction. I am a hack level 5 and always playing level 100+ tour pro or master with the best clubs

When this game come out, it was very, very good game. And I didn’t think anybody could screw this game up worse than Topgolf. But I was wrong. Y’all are even worse than them. I don’t know what y’all did to the game, but it’s screwed up. This is only realistic for gamers who played video games all the time. He’s probably never seen a golf course. But before my injuries, I was a real golfer, and this is not realistic. You can dress up a turd, but it is still a turd. And that’s exactly what your game is.

Stopped Working
App stopped working. Update: app still not working. I sign in and the app doesn’t move past the startup screen. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app several times.
Monaco Room
It’s been 2 weeks, fix the monaco room it won’t let us play there and that’s the only room i ever play 💔 how do yall go that long allowing all these problems, this is just one of many. A few weeks ago you had a near perfect game, a few weird quirks here and there but nothing serious, for whatever reason your developers got bored and changed up the design and it caused a disastrously flawed app now. I’ve played this game consistently since 2018 so I’m not one of these people complaining just for the heck of it, at least give us an update or statement of what’s going on, acknowledge us at least

Keeps Crashing
I am running an M1 iPad Pro 12.9”. The game keeps crashing after I get into a tournament and start playing. It used to not do this. I am running iPadOS 26. Game devs, please fix this! Also, controller support would be nice!

Game locks up and gives error messages after any game after the last couple updates. Was excellent before this.

Terribly inconsistent
I really want to like this game, but gameplay is ridiculously inconsistent. Yard meter around the greens is terribly incorrect-like perfectly good shots are double the yardage of what the meter says it should be. It is so bad it makes it absolutely NO fun to play. I can put up with the ads and paying to get better equipment, but why would I pay when the game play stinks? What a waste of time. Ba-bye.
Looks Amateurish + Lost My Favorite Part
Graphics on the home page look bad. 1980’s PC bad. Huge fonts gaudy graphics. The virtual caddie is terrible. Seems like it was coded by a team that’s never played real golf before. Finally, (I might stop playing because of this), the head to head tier competition which featured coin prizes for the top players is gone….just gone. That was my favorite part. It’s the only reason I played most of the time. I liked the challenge of completing with others for the top spot, earning coins and moving up to the next tier. No more!Too bad so sad.
What happened to realistic?
I normally don’t write reviews but this needed to be said. I thoroughly enjoy playing this game and I love the realism of the courses and the “feel” of the shots. Unfortunately it seems that WGT is moving towards the traditional format of larger app developers. The graphics have declined and the reliability of the server is zero, even though it cost the same for the equipment. People enjoy this game because of the similarities to playing real golf. Although in the game, we can play and upgrade our status in the game without it costing us currency. Now I can barely make it through a game without being booted from the server or the game-play screen comes up “grey”. Unlike with online play, it won’t allow me to resume the game, so it’s frustrating trying to earn rewards point. Please understand I am not trying to bash WGT. Actually, I love this game and hope that your consumers voice can possibly help make it better. Cheers!
New UI = Garbage
I’m not sure who thought the new UI was a winner, but this is the most unstable this app has been for years. Cannot play for more than 10 minutes without crashing. While they rolled out an update in the past 24 hours, it didn’t fix anything. Do better…
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY
Used to be a good game but is totally unplayable these days and is certainly not worthy of investing any real $ into. Each and every update just makes it worse and they seem oblivious! Find another golf game to play!
