All about protecting their money
If you have a problem with a vendor on this app no matter how much evidence you put in with the complaint all the vendor has to do is click a button and they will win the appeal. If you don’t need to be on this app STAY AWAY from it it’s not customer friendly at all and it’s all about money so if you don’t need it stay far away from this app cuz it’s totally a fraud in line with other apps that take advantage of customers.

I would not recommend anyone use this platform. Based on my experience, you will likely be disappointed, frustrated, and dissatisfied with the level of service and support provided. There are many payment processing platforms available, and after what we have gone through with Whop, I strongly believe business owners should think twice before trusting this company with their money.
My experience with Whop has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.
We have been dealing with issues regarding our account and funds for months. After already waiting approximately six months, we were informed that we would have to wait an additional 90 days before gaining access to our money. From our perspective, this is completely unreasonable and has created significant financial stress for our business.
What has made the situation even worse is the lack of helpful communication from customer support. We interacted with representatives named Tyler, Adam, and Luis, and throughout the process we felt ignored, dismissed, and left without meaningful solutions. Instead of receiving clear answers and timely assistance, we were repeatedly given responses that did not address our concerns.
At one point, we explicitly requested that our account be closed. Despite making that request clear, the issue was not resolved, and we were left feeling trapped in a situation we no longer wanted to be part of.
The most frustrating part is that our concerns and instructions were not taken seriously. We believe that better communication and proper attention to our requests could have prevented significant losses and complications. As a business owner, it is incredibly difficult to trust a platform when you feel like your concerns are being ignored while your funds remain inaccessible.
Customer service should be focused on helping customers solve problems. Unfortunately, our experience was the exact opposite. The support we received felt slow, unhelpful, and lacking in accountability. After months of waiting, countless conversations, and no satisfactory resolution, we have lost confidence in Whop’s ability to properly support its customers.
Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this platform. If you are considering using Whop to process payments or manage your business, be aware that if an issue arises, you may face long delays, poor communication, and significant difficulty getting your concerns addressed.

Trash Update
This app uses AI for support and you can’t get to a human on the weekends. All these companies do is cut corners at every cost. I just wanted to update the app to see if it would fix a bug that I had and now I can’t see any of the chats in the group i’m in. Defeating the apps purpose.
Scam
This app is a scam. I attempted to sign up for the paid service but never received any confirmation that my account had been created. When I later accessed the account, there was no billing information on file and no record indicating that I had completed the signup process. Because of this, I had no reason to believe I had an active account. I contacted customer service and received an automated response indicating that I likely did not have an account. Despite that, my credit card was subsequently charged because I did not cancel the subscription before the free trial ran out because I didn’t even know I had a subscription. When I reached out again regarding the charge, customer service was unable to event locate any record of it. They are taking customers’ money and not providing a service. I had to contact my credit card company to dispute the charge.

Terrible DON’T USE WHOP
I’ve recently processed over $8k without any disputes out of no where they locked my account and put it on a 90 day reaver no buts no questions just gave it to me without any reason appeal or anything I was willing to get every client to say on phone they authorized or wouldn’t dispute because they got what they asked for this is ridiculous if your a small business DO NOT USE WHOP THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY THIS IS YOUR WARNING
Doesn’t Track Referrals or pay out
The user interface for this app is horrible. I’ve referred several people using this app and have never been paid. They told me I’d be paid and still never sent payment. Don’t waste your time using this app.
Facilitates scammers and fails to protect consumers
I am incredibly disappointed with my recent experience using the Whop platform. I purchased a service from a creator on their marketplace for \(\$1,900.00\), which unfortunately turned out to be a complete scam. For over a month, I was strung along with empty promises, lies, and constant excuses about delayed payments and refunds. I documented and submitted all of this evidence-including the creator's own admissions and deceitful messages-to Whop’s Resolution Center. Shockingly, despite having clear, undeniable proof of the scam, Whop sided with the creator and denied my case. It is completely unacceptable that a platform hosting these transactions refuses to enforce basic consumer protection or hold their merchants accountable for blatant fraud. By enabling scammers and failing to review submitted evidence, Whop makes themselves complicit in the theft. I caution anyone considering making a large purchase on this platform; if you get scammed, Whop WILL NOT help you. I have since had to escalate this to my bank to recover my funds.

This app is a complete scam. I told them multiple times to stop charging my card, yet the charges kept coming through anyway. Now I’m forced to file chargebacks and dispute every transaction with my bank just to get my money back.

Bugs will cause hidden charges
Tried signing up for a service, absolutely zero notification or confirmation except through my bank account that I got charged twice. They did not refund my money back despite me not receiving literally anything.

Recently downloaded and used the app. It says to unsubscribe if you don’t want to continually get charged. I was charged twice but it was declined due to insufficient funds. I go to the whop app and unsubscribe and cancel the subscription, only to get charged for the same subscription $30 that I did not need and had already cancelled. It was an unauthorized transaction and even after being charged I canceled again with 6 days and 23 hours left of 7 day subscription. My refund request have been denied and they have sided with the merchant who has done nothing to help it’s completely unfair they stole my money for services I didn’t use and for a subscription I had already cancelled THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND NOT DO ANYTHING TO HELP YOU I intended to come back at a later date but this is a scam

Used this app to sign up for PJTrades discord. It was supposed to be a one time $100 fee for regular access; and $250 [monthly] for premium where you can chat directly with PJ and do one-on-one. Signed up for the lower tier and after a few days I realized the Whop app charges a monthly fee of $100 (aka my stock influencer misspoke).. so I cancelled the subscription within the first 30 days and they revoked my Discord access to PJ but they still kept charging my bank account the subscription. BEWARE - they don't send out an email confirming the cancellation; they probably do this so they can keep scamming your bank account like some kind of third worlders who prefer to scam instead of working and producing value and generating prosperity.

Don’t use. If you make an even slightly large transaction they will hold your money for 180 days and you won’t get paid. They encourage your customer to chargeback rather then paying you out.
Worst payment processor i’ve ever used
I have gotten my money I made held for over 120 days and STILL have not received it. Multiple people that used whop with my experienced the same thing and they never give you the money you earn right away. Stripe, fanbasis, or any other payment processor is 10x better, there’s less fees, less bs, and they don’t hold your money for months for no reason.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER
I came to this platform because of a friend that I saw had great success on here. My whop was open for 30 days and I got flagged for fraudulent activity after receiving 6 customer payments. No disputes! I mean 0! So what did I do that violated the terms of service. The only explanation I received was out decision to doable your whop is permanent and irreversible! Baffled my partner and I went through everything we ever posted I mean everything. Deleted things off social media and everything and tried to relaunch. Finally received our first customer on the new platform. What I thought would be a joyful moment followed immediately with disappointment! Seconds after getting notified of the payment whop sent me a email saying my account is permanently suspended again! I reached out to them again all for the same Ai response of our decision is final. Never would’ve thought I would have this experience! But when one door shuts another will open! SKOOL HERE WE COME!

I barely started using the app
And for some reason when it completely freezes and can’t click a single thing. Restarted my phone and the app and ended up still frozen on a page I could not tap a single thing or even exit out. You’d thing resetting the app and even shutting off phone would do it but app is very buggy happened to me all day

They keep trying to charge me $100 to my account for a course I’ve never subscribed to. I did a $15 purchase to another creator on whop one time only and they keep trying to scam me.

The app is keep freezing. Delete the app and then add it back. Still the same!! I paid $145 a month for option trading for one of the membership account. Can’t scroll up or down or use any feature as it freezes as soon as I open the app.

This app got a whole ton of loopholes that will only benefit the seller and the app. No matter what the consumer have no rights to anything even if they get banned. If you get banned whop immediately sides with the seller. There’s nothing you can do once u paid.
