Confusing profiles and prduvrs
Impossible to identify which product is to be added to the app easily creates multiple profiles, which are impossible to merge very frustrating app
Their scales are useless
Imagine a scale that never works. Just shows you the weight for five minutes then says error. Every time. It’s a huge POS that can’t do what an 25 dollar scale can do. Insane. What a rip off.

All my data is missing!
After doing an update all my data from the last year is gone!

Updated to 8.8 and 8.8.1 and 8.8.2 and now the app won’t even open.
Functionality is Broken
Charts are no longer appearing correctly, not able to cycle through older data. Seems like an update went south. Please fix this.

There is nothing useful on the home tab except a lot of junk and advertising. I need to see my weight and the other metrics

The latest version won’t even start, the app hangs on the loading screen and then crashes. Quality has severely degraded recently, cannot recommend!!! Very disappointed.

Crashing and not opening
App used to work normal yet it is not working anymore… Tried updating the app and ensured that I’m on the latest iOS but not working…
BodyFit set up is the worst.
Worst product set up ever. Took 4 hours to set up due to error message that said ERROR. That’s it. Inexcusable. Support was no help. I actually figured it out while I was on the chat waiting for them to respond.
Withings released a product too early without proper instructions and left the app and device unfinished. Now we get help then troubleshoot in the wild. Basic QA testing should have spotted this gap. Maybe they did? Maybe Withings just doesn’t care.

Missions
The information isn’t easy to get and we’re forced to look at missions and they aren’t helpful. Offer a way to turn these off.

New update broke app
Updated it as recommended and now the app won’t open. I see several similar complaints going back several weeks and it’s clearly not been fixed
Totally disappointing
Will not sync all date to Withings app never mind Apple heakth.
No longer worth it
We have had Withings for the past 5 years and it has gotten worse as the years progressed. Now when you don’t get a measurement it tells you that you are doing something wrong. Even when you try the recommended way still doesn’t work. Not worth it.
Paid Reviews & Promotion Much?
I bought this ridiculously priced scale for $400 (2023 first release) and I have never been overly impressed with it. It helps me track body data points for health, fitness, and ultimately my overall wellness, great.
That said, at least it always worked with an iOS mobile device and app…until the last few months. Now every time I open the app it just shows “WITHINGS” in white letters on a black background, which at this point is starting to feel like a little buggy reminder that this purchase and my happiness buying it has always been countered by the reality of its limitations (glossed over by marketing teams, AI plugs, and paid-for “influencer” reviews and ratings 🤮).
If they get the app at least functioning again, I will give it another star but that’s it as my pre-locked out CUX was never great and again, as a first adopter I have always felt more was promised than delivered (other issues: lack of customization on home screen, inability to ignore/hide certain data points, long load and/or sync times, lack of actionable insights or advice without paid subscription, price of product + sub, etc.).

Confusing, difficult to use
It used to be great. Recent “upgrades” have made it awkward and confusing to use
Doesn’t synchronize
Almost every single day I have to update WiFi connection to get my data to synch. Tech support is useless.
They keep making it worse
I have a smart scale and this app used to show weight and charts and now it is cluttered with way too much stuff I don’t want while the weight functionality is worse. Eg I can’t assign an unassigned weight to a user anymore.
No app connect
I really want to like the scale but no matter what I try. I get an error when trying to connect the scale.
Horrible experience with the Body Smart
My Body+ scale broke and I got the Body Smart. Instantly noticed how it miscalculates body fat - I “lost” 5% of fat overnight. I used my local fitness’ omron scale to check and what do you know, I’ve lost no fat magically. Weighted myself on the Body Smart 10min later when I got home - still 5.2% lower. The Body+ measured well (less than 1% difference with Dexa), but it’s no longer an option. I’ll be returning that trash and looking to buy another scale, and regret recommending this one to colleagues.
Impossible to setup
The new body comp scale doesn’t even see 5G WiFi. With 2.4G it gives constant message “wrong password” even though the password is correct. The only turnaround was to connect through hotspot on the iPhone. Very unpleasant. I would’ve never bought the scale had I known how bad the installation would be.
Shady
They keep pulling features and making the part of a paid subscription. Purchasing the scan watch 2, and the home scale is not enough. You must also pay ~$9 a month to use them…
This app and poor devices will kill people
I have multiple withings devices. I have used the thermo, blood pressure, watch and scale. The thermo device is worthless, it produces no accurate thermo readings. The blood pressure cuff is over on readings 80% of the time. These devices will get you on unnecessary medication and medical decisions and cause serious harm. These things will kill people.
why does it ask me to update?
stop asking!! you can’t slow release and ask to update! makes no sense

8.8.0, 8.8.1, 8.8.2 all fail on start-up. Y’all need to expand your app testing regime before rollout. Previous app versions were working fine for years before this new release. Scrap this misguided ‘Nexus of Health’ push and get back to focusing on this app’s primary purpose- reading Withings device data and logging the data to Apple Health.

Latest update broke segment analysis
My wife and I bought this scale for the body segment analysis, but the latest software update has a bug which hangs up the entry into this analysis for both of us . To make it even worse the app won’t even record the daily results on the body segment analysis anymore. It should have been an easy fix to address this, but no patch has been released.

Data not syncing
After update the activity data from Apple Watch/ Apple health not syncing to whitings app. Last sync was May 31st. Another update today now it’s syncing activity but last 11 days of data is not syncing. Every update brings an issue of syncing and lost data.
