Does not sync with iPhone. Tried everything including a terrible call with customer service but still no results, no alerts for texts, poor step and sleep tracking.

I bought this scale because it said it was compatible with the Apple Health App. Well it does not feed info to health App and if it can it is not an easy setup as my wife and I can NOT see how! Only thing we see is it PULLS INFO from Apple Health App and not very accurately either!

If one is male, why are you asking for lactation, pregnancy, and other FEMALE ONLY info from the health app on iPhone? Identified as male (at birth) AND you want that access?

No support on weekends.
This morning my scale listed my wife as a guest me as her. There is no support to assist with this for two days until Monday morning.
My wife needs an app to weight herself?!
The fact that my wife needs to download the app in order to track her weight is ridiculous. This is a feature “dumb” scales have. Looking for other options right now.
My data is being held hostage
I’m no longer allowed into the app because it claims that my profile data is incorrect (it’s not). No way to bypass the “let’s verify a few essential details” screen.

New “updated” app is terrible.
Stay Away
Don’t get fooled by how fancy the products look. If the app refuses to connect (which it does, frequently), not only will you be left with very heavy paperweights, but support will constantly give you a runaround instead of fixing your problem.
Busted & Overpriced
I love data. Withings provides a tool to collect that data. However the products themselves are severely overpriced for how broken or glitchy they are. Either they’re built cheaply or built to fail. Clearly you’re trying to push people to buy warranty protection plans or you just hope consumers buy another model. In this economy, good luck with that!
Just get a $10-$20 dollar scale on Amazon and use a free health app to log your weight. The manual effort will still be less than trying to troubleshoot the issues you will have and good luck with their non existent support.

Fails to synchronize
Almost daily the scale does not synch. There should be a way to force a synch. Tech support is no help

Can't use the app

Required profile update makes app useless
I loved my Withings scale for years but a forced profile update in the app has made it useless. It won’t let me use the app or see my previous data without updating my profile, but when I try to update and click save, it only tells me “Please try again”. Now the scale is useless for tracking and I’ve lost my previous data.

All good tracking gone from free version
There is hardly any thing left to see in this app after they are moving all content under a paywall plan. I bought a Withings watch, however month by month they are stripped all content out of the free app. This app was useful for a while, but now it seems they just collect all my data and sell it to someone else.
Disappointed with Withings
I have had 2 Withings scales, and neither one of them has ever really functioned properly. On the first one, the sensor handle broke within about 60 days of use. The second scale for some reason doesn’t update data to the app. I wouldn’t recommend investing money into a Withings product after my experience with them.
2FA Terrible Implementation
I installed this app on my iPhone, I got past 2FA and it worked ;however, its not intuitive and clumsy in its implementation. Next I installed the app on my iPad, this is where it hit the fan. The 2FA absolutely ruined it for me using this app in my iPad. This feature keeps me running in circles. If I detete to redo this on the iPad, it also resets the app on my iPhone. There is no winning the battle with this feature. I’m already sick of using this app. As impressed I was using it on the iPhone the setup in iPad Destroyed it!.
Can’t log in
I’ve been using this app for years. Now I can’t log in and can’t get any support. It’s asking me to update my profile, but won’t save, and I can’t exit out of the update profile screen. Help!!
Signup issues
So I added a new family member, she has an regular gmail emails. I didn’t receive any email (spam checked as well) and when I try to login is says user doesn’t have an account and went I try to login it says user exists: try to login - obviously I have to retype email address every time. Seriously no wonder Nokia is not with us anymore. Update, I am receiving a code form the the all hit upon the data entry on new family member I am getting “unknown error”.

Out of the blue my 11.5kg daughter took over my 88kg account . I added her a child! No dice! Who codes this? Human cannot drop 70+ kg one single check in the function!

App is fully bricked
Asks me to update profile, no matter what I do I can’t “please try again”. Stuck on that screen. Searched online - apparently has been an issue for 6 months and many of us are just stuck.
Bloated app
I bought their devices, I just want my data in a simple format. It’s not syncing my data even though everything shows connected but it sure does try to sell you their monthly subscriptions. Another device about to go on the garbage, along with their Blood Pressure monitor that kept telling me I have high blood pressure, I go to the Dr and they tell me it’s close to normal. After a year of this I just bring my device to the Dr office and it’s over 20 points off.
Disheartening
It’s a scale. It weighs you and then uses information from your other smart devises to give you I formation about your health. I’m not sure the benefits as I have all of that in Apple Health already. What I GREATLY dislike is that I can’t change what is displayed on the scale. For example, I’ve lost 10 lbs, but 3 years ago I weighed 5 less than I do now. So it shows my current weight and then shows me a graph looks like I have put on 20 lbs. I know the facts, however, it’s quite discouraging. I do NOT recommend if you are a woman who isn’t always on track.

Poor integration with other apps
Wished this would integrate with my Oura app that has far more accurate health information than Apple Health which only gets half the information.
Another smart scale bust
I have gone through three different smart skills trying to make sure I could have one that would communicate with my iPhone and I could use with my wife and the scale would know who was who. Went back-and-forth for two months with the Help team and to no avail they could not help me get the scale working for the two of us. It’s only one at a time on each person‘s phone. Don’t buy this scale

Despite seeming to, it does not actually sync data to Apple Health. It can read from Apple Health, but does not write to it. Worthless product and app.

I bought one of the scales. The product works great. However, and this is a big however, there’s an issue with the second authentication to access the app. It doesn’t permit you to enter the code. None of the alternate methods work. When I went to the help section, I was confronted with a large number of articles. However, there was no easy way for me to contact support. The scale only truly works when you were able to access the app. It’s then when you are able to monitor the trends and integrate with other health apps. That’s the reason you are paying a premium price. When this first occurred, I was certain it was a glitch that was easily addressed. I followed all the online protocols. None of them worked. It would be great to get some guidance from someone in support. However, that doesn’t seem possible. Until these issues with second authentication and support are resolved, I wouldn’t get this product.

Unreliable Analog Clock: Withings Watch Depends on iPhone Bluetooth
In its current form, the analog clock feels fundamentally less reliable than the digital time because it’s tightly coupled to iPhone Bluetooth syncing, which I consider poor design for such a basic function.
HRV is a total mess
Do not use if you rely on apple watch. Used app for years and it was fine. Last 3-4 updates make it unusable. HRV is always bad regardless if its 22 or 222. No longer accurate. Look elsewhere.
Buggy app locks you out of your health data
The app has bugs that break it and keep you logged in but maintain a loading screen on top of your data. Decent hardware, rock bottom bad app engineering.

Was hoping for a simple way to get my BP automatically into Apple Health. After a long process of attempting to use this app with the cuff I’ll go back to the old fashioned way. And the privacy implications are nightmarish. They want your WiFi password. They want a list of all your Bluetooth devices. They want more than that. All your health data in Apple Health. No. Why not just make a cuff that simply connects to Apple Health? I guess there isn’t enough money in that. Taking the cuff back.

If simply updating one’s email leads to erasure of existing data and forcing multiple factory resets then my verdict is unusable product. I would give negative stars if I could.
