They wouldn’t dare telling you the positioning of your units and which one takes the most damage positioned there. Let alone allowing you to switch positions. These games are better known as ‘drop ship games’. Very minimalistic, locks mandatory units behind a pay wall, and very uninspired tired look you see in many cloned games these days. ‘Wittle’ to no effort carbon copy of something else. Drop rates are awful, just another money pit designed to make you spend to advance. Fear not I’m mid development of a mobile game that will NOT disappoint. Everything is going to be free and drop rates will be 100% based on luck the only thing that will cost money will be cosmetics that you will still be able to earn through challenges and grinding. Skills and classes will be extremely diverse with unique skill trees that change based on your decisions. There will be ads so that I can continue to fund the game but they are all mostly optional to earn boosts and extra goodies like frames and in game currency. I love gamers and it’s time someone who actually care stepped up. The game will be called (Hero’s of Evernaught)

Don't play this game, it only updates new heroes, but not new monsters
This games that aren't worth spending money on, they treat players like idiots. They keep updating the game, turning what were once abundant resources into paid ones. They have 1000 chapters, but every chapter features the same boss, only the boss's stats keep increasing. They ignore player feedback; this is the many time they've turned free resources into paid content. However, instead of improving the game content after charging, they continue with the same repetitive bosses and chapters.

Anniversary Event Did It
The Anniversary Event is poorly explained, and is a blatant cash grab meant to alienate lower spending and f2p players. The gambling mechanic is seen at its most obvious use, as you spend 200 gems per ticket just to time your roll perfect in hopes of getting a decent “prize”. However, the refresh rate is so poor, that all of the mere decent prizes remain constantly “sold out”. Habby should be ashamed of themselves. The anniversary event rewards are not comparable to cost. This event, with its lack of details and high player cost for minimal return is deceptive and predatory in its implementation.
No regard for player community
Started off exciting with typical progression anxiety. Expected pay to win to be at the core and still the game was tolerable for light and no spenders. With every major update as players naturally dropped over time, habby has introduced more and more predatory tactics and cash-grab strategies creating bigger and bugger distance between community needs and feedback and corporate profits. They do take feedback at times but the motion repeats itself after every disastrous update. This game is on a rapid decline and would I not recommend it.

Can’t close out of ads
Why have ads as an option if there’s no way to close them and get your reward. I had fun for a few days, but the ad issue is making me uninstall.

They just want all your money, i said all ur money. Lacks of content, most of resource in game you have to paying for it.
Good game but awful servers/connectivity
Gameplay is entertaining but literally waiting for screens to load for 10-15 seconds and with it absolutely destroying battery life is incredibly frustrating. Devs really cheaping out with wherever they’re hosting their servers. Please fix/patch your mobile game

Short life span
Could be so much better. Game will crash and you’ll loose progress in whatever your playing. There is a tower type mode, game will crash and you’re back to where you began and it’ll take 24 hours to try again. Have to climb a couple levels, quit, and that will save progress. 24 hours later, couple levels, quit again.

Unfair bans
Their anti cheat system is flawed I was banned without a given reason as to why and later when I submitted an appeal they refer to the system telling them I was cheating, they failed to tell me what form of cheating I committed if anyone else has encountered such problems as well reach out to them to push them to do more than rely on the “system”.

I’ve played for about a month and got to level 45. Fun game yet again bogged down by greed. Too many ads and if you want to get rid of them you need to cough up $10 a month. Not worth it for any mobile game and especially not one so steeped in micro transactions. Would not recommend.

Absolute insane prices.
Then there are events that give you more rewards the more you spend, so you incentivized to spend and buy the passes in order to compete in the events and leaderboard.
I can’t recommend this game, it’s not fun without spending money.

The game is fun until you reach a certain point in the progression and realize you need to pay to win or even progress and move forward with the levels, I see this game going the same route as “Capybara Go!” Hence the title.

I started playing and then very quickly hit a brick wall. They don’t give you enough resources to help you past a certain point unless you play endlessly and slowly grind out the same level over the course of a week. Apparently there are supposed to be quite a few playable characters but I wouldn’t know as every summon was the same characters so I never really got anyone new. Game needs a revamp for sure.

If you enjoy getting slapped around by people who spend hundreds of dollars a week on a mobile phone game, this one’s for you. Arena has no cap on how many times the largest players can just refresh & fight you over & over & over again with no chance of you ever winning. Sounds fun right? Nah. Don’t bother. They say they’ll update & fix things but it’s all empty promises.

Oops, they forgot to include a game in their game
At first glance, this seems to be identical to a whole slew of casual action roguelikes with insane monetization and gamification burying the actual game loop. But in fact, it’s different-because there is no actual game loop! I guess at least you can say the “no dodging” part of the game motto/subtitle is true, because there’s no anything at all. You just sit around and watch the game play itself. And you have to watch-they try to charge you money to speed it up or skip it, which tells you that they know nobody wants to watch. This is a new low in mobile gaming scams. Fortunately, you don’t have to pay them to not watch their not-a-game play itself; you could also just delete it, or not install it in the first place.

Devs are greedy and take months to respond to bugs. Unless those bugs help players in which they just ban you. Played for 5 months and spent a good amount of time and money. Every update makes it harder and harder to climb up in the ranks unless you spend more than others. I’m further from top 100 than I was a month ago because every week is a new update for top players/spenders. It’s been 2 months since a QoL improvement and every QoL feature is locked behind monthly cards. Support team is nonexistent and run by bots and ChatGPT responses. On top of that the best player in the game just quit and they are letting someone else play his account which would be bannable for anyone else. So if you’re willing to pay $80k then I guess the game isn’t too bad.

It’s a proven trend that players get to 10m and quit. Servers are dying and players are quitting because the only way to enjoy end game is to pay with cash. Greedy much?
Fun game, but insanely money hungry
This game is DESPERATE to get your hard earned dollars. Every time you log in or exit a level you will be greeted with annoying pop ups of different “great value” packs, passes, top ups, etc. There are more ways to spend money on this game than I can even count. It’s ridiculously greedy. I wouldn’t have an issue with it if it wasn’t so in your face constantly, because the game itself is pretty entertaining.

Pretty fun game, but TONS OF ADS. Be ready to watch 20-30 ads just to complete your daily grind. For a game that relys on you to watch A LOT of ads to succeed, there is way too much of “ad not ready please try again later messages”.

I really enjoy this game, but it’s just like every other game on the all store in the sense that progress is contingent on spending minimum 120 bucks a year for a mobile game just to go ad free or you are going to be watching a lot of ads to progress. Just disappointing… same ol’, same ol’.

I think it’s bs to return to this game daily with everything you have purchased in it and still come back to only having 15-20 stamina!! Then after collecting all your stuff/ rewards from the what you have purchased all my stamina has dwindled down without me attacking once. I’m tired of being stuck on the same chapter day after day because of this. I can’t even purchase stamina because that has never even refreshed itself to allow me to do that. I was having fun now I think I’m just going to delete the game because of too many glitches. Was going to try and contact their support to see if it’s something they could fix so I could continue you playing but that what was bs also. You go under your profile go to support type everything down like I am here then the page won’t even let you scroll down far enough to hit the submit button just the cancel button. I’ll give the game a 2 star because I really like it but that’s it because I have to delete it. I’m glad everyone else is having a much better and easier time than I have.
Not Tower Defense
This is closer to a streamlined cartoony Diablo than tower defense. If you want actual tower defense (& no micro-transactions), check out Dungeon Warfare. You pay a few dollars, but only once.

Fun, needy, and a bit greedy
First things first, ad-free is tied to a monthly pass which is nonsense. Lifetime pass basically not worth it. Make it like Archero 2, ad free was tied to lifetime pass. Same companies, I’m sure it’s not that hard.
No capability to pick up where you left off, I went to send a text message during my abyss run, came back after two minutes and the game restarted, can you please give it more time before the game shuts down and restarts? Lost all of my reward potential and energy in the middle of a good run. Unfortunately can’t stay locked on the game constantly. And this isn’t the first time either.

Too much to do and i feel like im getting nowhere. Notifications for watchable ads don’t go away. I will never watch ads for free stuff and the red ! never go away which gives me anxiety. Seems nitpicky but it drives me up the wall. Want to love this game because i see the care put into it but its the definition of overstimulation. Too much to do, the daily gameplay loop is incredibly repetitive even more than other similar games. Expect to spend the majority of your time in this game claiming rewards that honestly don’t seem to do all that much.
Wildly unbalanced
Game is playable without p2w, but champions are extremely unbalanced unless you pay for certain ones during events. 1 mil more BP you will get crushed by someone in PVP with a less evolved team because of a few OP champs. Don’t bother with recommended lineups because you will still get crushed. Certain game modes are unplayable without paying. Also PVE recommendations for BP don’t mean much. I’m at 3.5 mil and get defeated in dungeons recommended for 1.8 mil with the recommended comps.

The game is more enjoyable than most in the genre, but the business model (monetized model) is horrible. They want “AAA” prices for an “A” game.
The UI needs heavy QoL and the new systems they add are unintelligible.
2.5 stars for the fun design and character skills, but the malicious monetization and rushed additional content will bury this game in the App Store if they don’t work on this quick.
