Driver delivery theft is a huge problem
I usually enjoy this app, but in recent years it has gone MASSIVELY downhill. I’ve had drivers stealing from about a third of my orders, and customer service did NOTHING to resolve it. After the fifth time it happened in just a month, I have since given up on the app and encourage others to do the same.

Absolutely unprofessional
This app and the team that works here is so rude and unprofessional. They do not have any intention to deliver, they do not take responsibility for anything and blame every mistake of their’s on customer.

Worst customer service ever!
I ordered sushi from a well known place in my city. They delivered the wrong order to me with a bunch of completely different items. When I reached out to them they told me that they could give me a respond in maybe 48 hours and that I should wait until then. Meanwhile there was nothing else to do 🙃. I think that playing like that with other people’s food is not something you could joke about like this. But coming from a non serious company like this is obviously NOT a surprise. I’m deleting this app and not coming back

I’m traveling and I’m gluten free bc I have celiac disease. I was relying on this app the help deliver safe food for me and on the first order they blocked my account and called me a scammer!! Then customer service was absolutely worthless and my account disappeared.

Can’t cancel orders, can’t modify before order is complete or cancel, can’t see which groceries were “unavailable”, courier always lost due to poor mapping, absolute trash.

Unhelpful support and poor resolution
I encountered an issue while placing an order due to limitations in the app’s ordering flow, which resulted in me being charged for an item I did not actually want. I contacted support expecting a fair resolution, but my refund request was denied despite the circumstances.
Mistakes and usability issues can happen in any app, but what matters is how customer support handles them. Unfortunately, I felt that no real effort was made to understand or resolve the problem. Very disappointing experience.

Payments not going through
Unacceptable! My payments don’t go through, no matter what payment method I try. Customer support is not responsive either. Perhaps the worst food delivery app I have ever used
Misleading deals.
Misleading “two for one” deals. Unhelpful customer service. Non-English descriptions even when app is set to English. Long delivery waits. Food always cold.

Multiple times the app shows an order not going through but then it orders double of what I checked out with.

It worked excellent for my very first order, but anytime trying to place another order It would say “failed to process card”
Ridiculous Service, avoid as long as possible
For a while I’ve used this app and really didn’t have much issue with it, but recently I placed an order and it was almost 30 minutes late, with no courier assigned for almost an hour. It was later at night, so I can understand that, but Wolt needs to uphold their delivery estimates as long as the restaurants are open, including actively working to get a courier to deliver orders. I tried to contact their customer service and their AI couldn’t help, so I was placed in queue to wait for a customer service agent, but the wait wasn’t a couple minutes, nor was it even 30 minutes, but 12 HOURS!! By the time they responded they apologized and offered me a 50% refund, to which I believe is crazy considering I’ve been trying to cancel the order and talk to someone for an hour and had to wait half a day to even get a reply. No matter what I tried they wouldn’t give me a full refund. I never got to talk to someone in a higher-up position because they wouldn’t transfer me, and I refuse to use this app any longer. Once I get my 50% refund, app will be deleted and they will get no more business from me ever again. 12 hour waiting time is ridiculous, not giving full compensation for their poor service is absolutely absurd, and I would trust a snail to win a marathon quicker than Wolt’s customer support to remotely come close to accepting full responsibility and providing a full refund. I’m truly disgusted
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Ordered dinner for a group of friends. Estimated was 35-45 minutes for delivery, restaurant was 2km away. Food was delivered after 1h20m. I threw it away upon receipt. There is no honest or transparent delivery estimate, and even worse customer service (joke).

first time using this app because i am american. opened it scrolled through a few restaurants and landed on something for dinner. contacted customer service and they told me my account was permanently banned due to “recent activity”. literally had no activity and customer service told me it was permanent and irreversible. absolutely ridiculous

Absolute scam and rude customer service. I have silver status or whatever with over 300+ orders and I will be deleting the app since they think it’s okay to deliver food with double the delivery time and ice cold and in a wet bag.

I received an order from Silk Road in San Ġwann containing chicken that tasted clearly spoiled… rancid, sour, and immediately concerning from the first bites. This was not a matter of preference or seasoning. The issue was the unmistakable taste and smell of meat that appeared unfit for consumption.
What was genuinely disappointing was Wolt’s response.
After reporting the issue, support relayed the restaurant’s position that “taste is subjective,” and initially declined responsibility on that basis. That is an extraordinary standard to apply to a potential spoilage complaint involving poultry. Food safety concerns are not resolved through semantic evasions about personal taste.
Even more absurdly, after dismissing the complaint as “subjective,” support later requested photographs of the food… despite the fact that spoiled chicken often looks visually normal. The problem was detectable through taste and smell, exactly as many spoilage cases are.
The most troubling part was the lack of discernment. At no point did Wolt appear to seriously engage with the distinction between “I disliked this dish” and “this meat may be unsafe.” Relaying dismissive responses from restaurants without critical mediation undermines confidence in the platform entirely.
Delivery apps depend on trust. Customers are placing faith not only in convenience, but in basic standards of safety and accountability. In this case, Wolt failed both.
I will continue using the platform selectively, but this experience significantly lowered my confidence in how legitimate food safety complaints are handled.

Not using a thermal bag and food came very cold and they lied and said they he was in a motorcycle but he was in a car. He didn’t use a thermal bag and you refusing to refund. Worst service ever.

I ordered food… driver shows up, gives my order to someone else, they refund me my order with in-app credits. Ok not the end of the world… until I try to order again, gets declined. Customer support then tells me I have multiple accounts and that breaks their terms and agreements. I made my account minutes prior to ordering my food, I don’t have multiple accounts. They then tell me my account is blocked because of it and I can’t get a refund. So they oretty much robbed me.

And just like that I can no longer from my regular restaurants. By severely limiting the delivery range, you are now useless , and I will cancel and delete this app. Too bad I can’t give zero stars.

A very ridiculous app
This app needs lots of improvement. They still have not fixed their payment bug. Every single card I’ve tried to use has failed. The app delivers a message that says: failed to process card issue card. This is not a user issue!! Wolt-this is your problem that needs to be fixed so customers can comfortably use your service. I have been a very consistent and long time buyer. However, I’m removing this app after today and never spending a dime until they resolve this frustrating inconvenience.

Suddenly the app started telling me that the payment couldn’t be processed despite that I tried many cards and they were all working. The customer support didn’t provide any help.
Wolt in Germany with 0 service
I ordered Knuspr Main from 6-7pm and I waited for the whole night. Nothing was delivered actually but order delivered on the iPhone. Nothing compensation, no sorry and no service. Ask mercy to god if you want to go to heaven.

Имейте ввиду если вам доставят еду через 2 часа после заказа (хотя отмечалось, что 40-50 минут) вам еще скажут, что по их регламенту, за то что ваша еда полностью остывшая или уже даже не пригодная для употребления , вы не сможете сделать возврат или получить компенсацию. Имейте ввиду купили это ваши проблемы как вам ее доставят и когда.

we were waiting 45+ minutes for the food. On the site was writen that the food will be at our location for 25 minutes. I was very disappointed, because i am using wolt gor approximately 2 years now and this is not a first time this is happening.

I ordered and had some dude get mad he couldn’t find my location. He finally did then cussed me out in German. I reached out to them twice. Then got some corporate response of them saying we apologize for the inconvenience. And they’d address it. Not sure what that does for me. But ok.
