Word card is fun and challenging! When I started playing Word Card, there were no ads other than those you get when you watch an ad to gain coins-that ultimately you must BUY the bank that holds it . I don’t have money to spend on games! So I never voluntarily watch ads! Recently, word Card forces LONG obnoxious ads that causes my decide to crash my device & Lose the ability to finish the game. Vita Studios’ Mahjong now has started appearing when I tough the Word Card App icon to begin playing Word Card. And artificially intelligence record secretly? Is that even legal??? It comes on my device at full volume and lasts for at least a full minute. Then when it ends, IF (BIG IF!) the ad doesn’t crash my device, there is no way to get out of it! It freezes my device. I still must turn off my phone or go play a different game. This is also the same ad that pops up mid game with the same results. When I started playing Word Card, one of the reasons I started playing was you advertising free game with no ads. What happened? Because of Vita Studios ad interruptions, I have almost completely stopped playing word Card., Also, you need to change the screen format of your game. The button for hints appears about midpoint on the left of my screen. I am left handed, and the way I must hold my phone, I accidentally hit that button frequently. You need to move the button’s position. I hit the button, not meaning to, using up the majority of the hints earned when I don’t NEED a hint. The way it is positioned at present you are putting left handed players at a true disadvantage!

Take hexa ad off or I am deleting game!!
Constant ads. More than any other game I have. But the constant hexa ad that is on for 5 minutes and often gets frozen so I cannot exit it is THE WORST. Needs to be removed. Thinking about deleting this game and finding another similar one.
They steal your points
You watch the ads and it doesn’t give you the credit. Then it tricks you and puts your points in lumps or ask if you want to put them into words of animals or plants. It took 6000 of my points. Lost them completely.
Opening Acorn Crates
Said that when I reached level 475 I could open the acorn crate. Now that I’m at Level 475 it say I need to do 20 more levels before I can open the crate. Looks like bait and switch to me.

I wanted to like this game and I tried but I finally had it. When I don’t get the very cheap credit for daily challenges that was it! The game also tends to cheat with made-up words that might be used in third world countries….if you have to use tactics like that to get someone to spend money on your app, no thanks!

Too Many Missing Words
This app is missing way too many words that really are documented words in the dictionary. And as an English major, it’s extremely annoying. Also, the dictionary feature in the app stopped working. Maybe a more frequent app update would be of great benefit.

In the commercial there was a women with a baby who got pushed off of a bridge. So when downloading I was expecting to help her like in the ad. BUT to my surprise there was no woman. The “forever” ad
Have been playing this for a while and it’s OK, if somewhat too simple, didn’t even mind the ads too much since most of them are short BUT it recently started running an ad (“you might like this” at the top) with which will NOT go away no matter how long you wait. Only way to continue playing is to exit the app and return some time later (not right away, the ad is still up). Have deleted other apps because of this particular ad and am doing it again. Adios “Word Card”.
Really like but
Use of brand name products in one puzzle that doesn’t work in another is frustrating especially when it’s not a common product like the word “bowser”. Otherwise the best puzzle game I’ve used.

Don’t give up because it is easy. The first several hundred levels are easy but the game gradually gets more difficult and challenging. There are 15,000 levels!
Directions are minimal, leaving things for you to figure out yourself by poking around or observation. This makes the game more fun.

But the worst thing about this game is the stupid “extra words.” These words don’t count towards filling up the card and there are thousands of them, and you can use them only once to earn a coin! This means you will be using the same common words words over and over and over again. This also means skill doesn’t matter much since the designers artificially have made it difficult to fill up cards. This gets worse the higher you go. This is very frustrating, especially when you’ve entered three or four good words but the game refuses them all! The designers did this on purpose, hoping you’ll get tired of looking for words and use your hints up, thus trying to force you to PAY for coins instead of earning them to buy hints. Offering the purchases is ok, but to try to force it the way they do is just plain greed.

I’ve played this game for years. It is my favorite game. A week ago, it no longer opens. The icon opens to a white screen with the game logo and that’s it. What’s going on!!

Ads are now intrusive
Enjoyed this until now. Finish a game and ad starts. Runs 5 seconds and X appears in upper right. Used to be you click on X and it would go to screen of sponsor. Click Done and you’re back in game. Now you click X and goes to screen of sponsor and then Done but goes back to another 5 second ad. Sometimes 3 times. Was good to play but not now. Probably delete it if this doesn’t change.
