Disappointed
I’ve been playing word chums for a long time and I really loved the game until recently. now we have pop-up ads while we’re playing and you can’t even submit your word until the ad goes away. Terrible terrible.
New pop up ads
A few days ago, new ads started popping up, for Ashley Furniture. They are right in the middle of trying to play and they are ridiculously frequent. They stay on the screen for way longer than they should. They make it nearly impossible to play the game.

Suddenly disappointed and aggravated
Please explain why, all of a sudden, pop up ads appear mid game. Many times they pop up mid moves! Why do you have to ruin the game? Please stop!
Spoiled by Ads
I’ve loved this game for several years. In May 2026, suddenly 5-second pop up ads began appearing every 10 to 15 seconds while I was studying the board. It makes the game unplayable. They are forcing people to pay for playing or give up the game.
Too many perverts
Can’t play a game without someone harassing you and there’s no way to report them 🤬
Ads in paid version?
Long time player, love this game. But now getting constant pop up ads in the paid version. So many ads that no longer enjoy playing.
No Support
Up until recently, Word Chums was one of my favorite games to play with family and friends. That was until I started getting pop up video ads after having paid for the premium upgrade years ago. Support goes round and round asking for a copy of my receipt from my upgrade.
Do not purchase an upgrade unless you plan on keeping a copy of your receipt forever.

Ads opening over the game nonstop.
Ads starting opening up frequently over the game so you can’t see the game and have to wait for it to close. Do you not really realize this is going on and is intolerable. The develop should try playing so they can experience what we do. I’m done and will no longer play.
Too too many advertisements
Fun game, but I can’t figure out how to close the advertisements
Ads interrupt game
Friends and I consider deleting this game and finding another because ads stick and won’t go away. It used to be fun now it’s a hassle to get through a game. Reviewers will never show this probably. I’m not going to even consider the pst version.
Pop up ads
I have enjoyed playing this game for years, but lately the new pop-up ads are Interrupting the game so that I no longer enjoy and I am considering quitting.
