Giant red question mark
The background has been a giant red blurry question mark for the last few days. I can’t figure out how to update the app and the help section is unhelpful. The background makes my head hurt!

Great Game Ruined by Ads
Loved the early days where you could rack up tons and tons of coins by solving the puzzles at your own pace. Then they nerfed coin growth. Then they added the ‘option’ of watching ads for coins on top of the regular ads, but at least those were on a different screen. Bruh, now I have a banner ad at the bottom of the PUZZLE and MENU that I can’t X out of. What a coincidence that as the ad-experience worsens a new ‘ad-free’ microtransaction becomes available in the shop.
Memory leak

Use to be a good game. Now it has an awful memory leak. After a few minutes it becomes unplayable and kills your battery. They ask me for further info. Play the game DEV team! You have an awful memory leak! The devices RAM is used up and not released. You know basic stuff 🙄 now they have an ad that tries to spam dial a phone number. Their developers are out lunch. They also use words that aren’t real words. The latest being “Botnets” which they said their resource “wordnik” supplied. Go to wordnik, they say it isn’t a word

More time waiting for ad to finish than playing the game
I like the game however more time is wasted on the ad than playing. Can you purchase without ads?

Frustrating!
I’ve been playing this game for a long time, loved it. Now it is nothing but super long ads that take longer to watch than to play the games. I understand short ads after a few rounds but now it is ridiculous.
Glitches galore with recent updates.
I’m about to delete from my phone permanently-so frustrated. Sound stays on even when you select to turn off. For the bonus games like the 3 match ones game freezes and won’t reset if you lose the round. Can only close entire app and open again. If you want to exit early and go back to home page, doesn’t let you do that either.
Took away already purchased feature.
I have played for years and early on purchased the no advertisement option. Suddenly I’m subjected to the same ad again and again.

Ad glitch
I’ve been playing this game for years and all of a sudden I’m seeing ads again. I tried clicking on restore, and I tried the “email us” link but it didn’t go anywhere. I enjoyed that I could play without seeing an ad after every game. I’m hoping it’s just a glitch, but I think I’m going to take a break and hope it gets fixed.
Ruined game
Used to love this game. It’s been updated now to force you to watch the same ad after every round. First ad says don’t you hate those games with annoying ads? Takes longer to watch the same repeated annoying ads than it does to play the round. When game comes back you have no sound! Try to purchase the game so you don’t have to watch the annoying ads and the store is not set up! Someone should be fired! Don’t waste your time! Deleting!
Word Crossy
This app freezes not allowing access to extra lives in the challenges. It offers not enough life prizes to beat the challenges most prizes go towards the crossword instead of challenges. Needs lots of upgrade in play boards. More access needed.
Commercials are too long
The ads are too long. Especially the one with the king. Don’t know the name of it but will no longer play this game because of it. 15 sec to 25 sec is long enough!

I bought this game years ago to avoid the ads in the free version, and have played through 5800 levels. Now this version starts playing ads after every level?!?
Maybe it’s a mistake, maybe it’s intentional…but If this doesn’t change back soon, I’m deleting it.

Riddled with ads
There used to be no ads and with the new update it is almost impossible to play because of all the ads. They have ruined my favorite game.

I love this game and have been been playing it every day since 2018 and haven’t had ads until today. If there is no way to remove the ads, I guess I will be removing the app. Very disappointed.
Not honoring payment to remove ads!
I have been playing this game for years! I’m on level 32055…and paid for this game years ago to remove ads.. since the latest update I have ads pop up after each game played..VERY upsetting to think after being such a loyal consumer that now I have this happening.. tried to send email thru game to ask about this but it seems to be disabled so I’m taking this route..I would hate to think after all these years of play that I would have to deal with ads again.. which I won’t! I’ll just not play anymore.. so sad this developer chooses to not honor my payment for this game!

Glitch
Why does it keep freezing on the side extra games it had. The game with the different picture and you have to make matches in a particular order, i am at level 10 and no button will work. I can’t even go back to the home app. It just keeps freezing up. I already closed out the app multiple times and restarted my phone
Get your paywalls out of my face.
Fun tile matching game similar to mahjong was added. Thousands of coins from the crossword game saved up and I’m not allowed to use them to help me when I’m stuck. Stop trying to make me pay you to not have to fail this same level another 100 times. Relaxing zen. Yeah right.
Locking up
The app now keeps locking up and I can’t even exit. I’ve lost my purchase and had to reload it and still locks up, this is quite frustrating

Beware of profanity
I played this game for many many years and it was one of my favorite games! Last year they apparently ran out of words and have allowed profanity to be a part of the words along with the most ridiculous words ever! I deleted the app. I used to let my granddaughter play with me. I can’t have her spelling words she knows not to use.

Please fix level 41 of the Screw jam mini game. There’s a yellow pin behind the x2 assist that’s impossible to collect, making it impossible to move forward in the game. Thanks!

Too Long of Comnercials
Tired of seeing long commercials for Underoutfit, Word Zen, Keto+ACV and Saving the King. Underoutfit is long and is every other ad shown in this site. Same with the others. I look forward to seeing the short commercials because the long ones make me not want to play!

I love the game but cannot continue to endure the relentless and lengthy ads. It has gotten ridiculous.

There is no X to close the ad, not even after quite a while. The only way to get past the ad to continue the game, is to close the entire app and then re-open it. And this is not just one ad, but many of them. This is obviously super frustrating and significantly reduces the enjoyment of the game. They developers need to better monitor the ads and fix this issue.
Pop up ads
They just added pop up ads that disrupt the game. I’m on potato stage so have played over 16,400 levels. NOW they do this? Weird.
Also, my last game required the words “melic” and “bice.” Good luck guessing some of their vocabulary. Sometimes a word is allowed but not the plural and vice versa. Pretty arbitrary. But obvs I deal with it since I play every day. Boosters are easy to earn and are unfortunately necessary to finish some puzzles.

Too many 50% off
Bonus spin for daily prize is a joke. The last 5 times (yes I kept track) it was a 50% off as the prize. There are only 2 on the wheel yet every time it’s the same outcome. That’s some poor programming for a so called “random” prize.

Fun No More
How can they claim improved experience with long constant long winded ads practically after every move. Used to play this game constantly, even entering contests they used to hold Thursday thru Sunday, winning a couple. But something has drastically changed. It’s no longer fun, or even a game I would recommend. Too bad, at the time it was one of the best, now one of the worst IMO. Will likely delete, am sure there are others just as good as they used to be.
Sudden loud ads
This game is a fun game and I do like to play it, HOWEVER don’t ever play it while you are anywhere that a sudden loud blast of noise will be a problem. I would play it way more except you finish a quiet game and this incredibly loud and jarring ad unexpectedly begins to play. I don’t want to have to remember to turn my sound off and then back on, so I don’t okay it nearly as much as I would.
Will Make Solving a Joke at a Point
This is my second review. It’s the same but just wanted to reiterate. I love the game as a whole for playing on planes, keeping my mind sharp etc but this is the second time the game has become ridiculous. The first time was around level 3000 and it’s the same now. Recently I won a tournament and all was good but I also paid for coins. That, along with hitting 3000 was the end. All of a sudden I have an average of 30 words in the bonus words, every puzzle has words they literally are guesses and are scientific etc where no one would know them and they almost force you to wait for coins. I get making a game harder. But this is more than that and seems geared toward money making

Why change?
I’ve enjoyed this game for years until the past few weeks. Now I solve one puzzle and am forced to endure new games that don’t interest me at all. I can’t get another puzzle without getting completely out of the app. I won’t bother anymore.

Ads longer than playing a round
When I started this game a few years ago, I loved it. Now, the ads have tripled in length, are repetitive and have taken ALL of the enjoyment out of playing. I don’t mind ads but….it’s gotten ridiculous.
