Horrible Change
I have played this app for years. The recent changes made to the daily puzzle are horrible. Unless something changes I will be deleting the app. This is such a shame because I really enjoyed the previous version of the game.

The game started off simple and seemed humanly possible. There were lot of ads unfortunately, so I bought a package to turn off ads. Now the thing slowing me down are the words that have zero meaning and are on the board simply to fill a spot, the post-level animations that you can’t skip through, and the casual use of outdated racial terms that auto-populated into the puzzle. What American 1960s word database are y’all even using? Get rid of it immediately.
Will be deleting the game soon, it’s just not fun with all the guessing. I like a strategy word game, not a prejudiced and press your luck game.

Stop the ads!!
THIS GAME IS UNPLAYABLE WITH ADS AFTER EVERY LEVEL!!! why don’t you have an option to pay a couple of dollars to kill the ads. This is So disruptive to have to stop for a useless ad after EVERY LEVEL.

Demotes you for winning
This game is so broken. It is unbelievable. I have been demoted for winning tournaments at least five times. I will be playing in a tournament, at a gold level say a gold III, win the tournament, and find myself demoted about five levels to bronze. Granted, Customer service does respond, but they do not fix the problem. They simply throw a few coins at me to “makeup for it. “ what’s worse is that this game is up on a few “pay for Play “sites such as Freecash and Swagbucks that reward you for reaching certain levels within the game. The game demoting you for winning actually costs you money. In my case, the game demoting me has cost me a $150 level offer. If you actually care about winning and leveling up in the game, DO NOT play this game.

Stuck on level 35 even though I have finished that level, won’t go to next level. It’s been 2 days, please fix this glitch.

Please fix level 35. When I spelled the word “Sank” only “SA” and after i completed the round it remains stuck and doesn’t let me go to the next level. Good game but this glitch is irritating. please fix!!

So disappointed
I love this game. I’ve been playing it for years. I was up into the 800s and suddenly the game started over. what happened to my game? How do I get back to being in the 800s? I was up to the more difficult puzzles and so I certainly can’t start over with the easy ones. Please bring my game back.
Too many advertisements
I would give your app a nice review but can’t due to the number of ads that I’m forced to watch to move to next level. I’m deleting app and just loaded it today.

Broken tournament rewards
This has been happening for over a year. placed number 1 by over 10k points in my tournament on platinum II, the tournament just ended and I got no rewards and got bumped down to gold II. Why didn’t I get my reward and why was I bumped down? I clocked the end of the tournament and made sure to kill the app and reopen and go to home page twice (from your previous advice). It seems this is still buggy. Can you please fix, or advise on how to get my reward?

Tired of ads getting stuck!
What a great game! I’ve been playing it for years. In the last few months you have ads that you cannot exit out of. Have to shut my iPhone down to restart game. Not fun at all. Looking for a new word game.
Too many ads
Starts off with limited ads then goes to NOTHING BUT ADS and then it’s difficult to get back to the game. Tries to trick you to click on them. Don’t download this!

Some of the words they have you solve for are not even real words. It becomes bogus after a while .. *yawn*

Objectionable advertising
I love the game, but don’t care for the new ads sexualizing women, and religious doctrines you can’t delete.

Disappointed
I used to enjoy this app so very much. It no longer will open on my iPhone. I have tried deleting and reinstalling app, but to no avail. All that comes up is a black screen when I try to open it. Please help.

This game was advertised as being about spelling and grammar, and it is not. It is another ordinary word game, and I do not need another one. Deleting immediately

Gold coin words in other languages
I posted a review months ago and it has miraculously disappeared. I contacted the developers multiple times regarding their gold coin words. They might be in the dictionary they use, but I had words in other langauages, such as German and Latin. Finishing a level is an exercise in frustration. I’ve since switched to another word game (I won’t name names), even though I paid for the ad-free version of word nut.
Freezes!
I like this game but I’ve been thrown off every day since downloading it. The page just freezes then I have to delete it and reinstall it. I think I’m done doing that.

I was really hoping this game would be like the ads that I see everywhere where they ask you questions about which word to use that would be correct because there are three or four different spellings of the word or words that sound alike spell slightly different and mean totally different things however I didn’t want yet another crossword game by dragging my finger from one letter to another so since it is mostly crosswords I’m out

Not the game as advertised
I clicked on an ad for a game based on homonyms. This is the game it took me to. Instead of being based on homonyms, it’s a word scramble type of game. Nothing wrong with that type of game. It just seems like false advertising. Of course, maybe “their” is some “weigh” in the “sittings” to change it into a homonym game. I could really use the help. 😃
Word Nut
Don’t spend a dime on this game. It locks constantly. I’m on 142 n that’s it. The last 4 games I’ve completed n it doesn’t continue to next one. I’ve tried closing out n reopening. Nothing. I’ll try once more then it’s GONE. I finally gotten it to start but every level stops n locks. 142 is it.

Ads, ads and more ads . . . .
Got to level 43 and deleted the game. Want to play a word game, not watch ads which appear just about after every level. Waste of time. Too bad you can’t give a negative rating.

Has non words
Was enjoying the game but then found it very slow going. Thought that it had some obscure words. I then googled a few and found some are not acceptable scrabble words. That took the fun out of it. It is really unsatisfying to use a hint or have a lucky guess and stare at the result and think, that’s not a word. That’s a sound, slang, proper name, or complete nonsense.
Poor Word Choices
This game was pretty enjoyable for about the first 150 levels and then got stupidly hard. For example, one level ignored perfectly normal words like “draw” and “ear” but included the words “rand” (a currency in South Africa), “wen” (a cyst on the skin), and “wared” (which the game couldn’t even find a definition for). I appreciate a challenge, but at that point I was just guessing letter combinations and it was no fun at all. I do not recommend unless you have a thorough knowledge of archaic and nonsense words.

I love the game itself, however after every puzzle and every time I open the app I have to sit through ads. You really need the option other games have of a one time purchase to remove ads.

Good game till about level 16 or so then there is an ad after every hand. I will delete and don’t suggest anyone use this
