When I select the number of letters, I get one screen with the right number of letters. Subsequent screens have all word lengths. This is new!
Subscription Pricing? On a Dictionary?
App functions fine for the first dozen or so requests. Then you start getting ads. Then more ads. Then longer ads. Then to get rid of the ads, they want you to pay a monthly subscription fee. For a dictionary.

The ads are oppressive and difficult. I get that they need to monetize the application, but these are SO bad and you simply can’t get away from them. It ruins the experience of using the app. The web page version is even worse. Looking for anything else.

When you try to get hints for Wordle it gives you like 6-9 words and that’s it.

I’ve used this for years and loved it. They just changed it so there are so many ads blocking answers it’s essentially non functional and no longer useable.

Yes, 1 letter can be excluded from 2 or more positions! And suddenly you can’t come up with words. Some of the words you finally show have an excluded letter.

Ads take forever! And they are so stupid.
The ads when they pop up can take 5 min, it’s ridiculous, and I feel I get a little dumber each time I watch them.
New Ads are awful
I’ve had this app for years. The new ads make it impossible to use. The website version or a different app is better.

Whatever everyone needs to earn $$, however it’s now ads that we can’t exit in any way, no matter how long you wait. Rather than ads in between spaces, they totally intrude on usage to the point of useless. Used to be a fantastic app
Terrible
Useless. There wasn’t any adds before. Now there’s one every minute that lasts longer then finding a word. Needs updating on the words. Why would people pay $10 a month to remove adds that weren’t there before. Get rid of the adds

Makes the app and using it for wordle hints no fun**. Deleted.

Way too many adds!!!! So I deleted this app and use a free one online with no ads!!!!
That’s one way to ruin an app
I don’t mind an occasional ad, but making the app unusable every time I switch game modes and even when I’m midway through typing is unacceptable. Deleted!
Ads prevent usability
This was a nice utility, and when it had small banner ads they were not disruptive. However it now interrupts usage after maybe three seconds of usage with a full-screen takeover video&audio ad that will interrupt your music, podcast, discord call, etc, while also preventing use of the app.

New feature: Interrupting ads
During every search you now get random pop up ads or reloading of the screen. The page you need to scroll down is also riddled with ads that you can accidentally click on. Absolutely unusable now.

Was a great app, now spam bot ad platform
I liked this app and found it very helpful. Then it started playing super long ads for spammy games every single time I opened it.

Just stick to the web version
Almost every time you click a button you’re redirected like crazy. There are inescapable ads within the app as well. Honestly keeping a tab open on your browser is just way easier than dealing with this app.

I've happily used this app for a while, but it suddenly has a ton of ads and no way to stop them. I've deleted the app.

AVOID This Software
I have used Wordfinder for several months with knowledge that they were data mining for use. I found the program very helpful in assisting word games. HOWEVER- Now the program is forcing unwanted ads that can’t be closed without shutting down the program. That ads don’t time out - they just interrupt your use of the software. They have a solution - pay them $1.50 per month (AUTO RENEWAL).
I can tolerate some ads that can be closed after a mandatory watch time but ads that can’t be closed (at least by this reviewer) should be outlawed.

Ugh - save your money.
New UI awful. Very inefficient and frustrating. Too much empty space so more steps needed to see words. Xs too small - have to back space. App very slow. Also very jerky when moving down page.
Annoying. Very few definitions and some words aren’t accepted. Advertised “board solver” doesn’t work at all.
Expensive app. I won’t be renewing. Better, cheaper options available.

Your App is now worthless!!
Used this app for a long time. Was very happy. Lately, the ads you show cover up the answers to your searches. Ads that you can’t get rid of. On a search for a more user friendly app!

I downloaded this because I thought it was simplify, but it’s actually more involved than just using the online one

if it’s not broke, don’t fix it
The recent update is horrible. I now have to go through three extra steps just to use it. At least allow me to set defaults for sorting and dictionary I want to use. Especially since I pay for it.

Latest update is terrible! Every time you switch between apps, it resets to “All …” and blanks out our last search instead of retaining your search for edits
New Update Crashes Immediately on Startup
Ever since downloading the new update, the app crashes immediately on startup. I tap on it to open, it briefly shows the open screen and then immediately closes. Force closing it doesn’t help.
Bad Update
Update doesn’t work on ipad. And, letters are not fully visible on iPhone version. Bad update.
Keyboard sticks
Not sure if I’m the only one who has this problem, but the keyboard is slow/unresponsive half the time. Like I have to tap a letter twice before it will input. Not ideal for timed games. Don’t think this is the app for me.

Google User-Centered Design!
Functionality is good, but the FORCED LOCKOUTS to get you to pay are a hideous reminder that not all software companies have progressed into the 21st Century! I’ve seen MALWARE - which is exactly what it feels like when you’re caught in the Hostage Loop - that shows more respect for its users than this app does.

Use the website
While it does seem to give good words, you’re better off using the website unless you enjoy lots of intrusive ads. The ads take over the screen and you’re stuck until you go through the multiple close steps.
