BROKEN APP - Forced update / no update?
Can’t use anymore there is a forced update, however in the App Store there is nothing to update.

App told me it was 25k/night so I transferred 75k over for three nights. At checkout it wouldn’t let me book for less than 83k. I was forced to transfer more points. This impacts my decision, if I knew I was spending 83k I would have used toward different hotel.

The app would not recognize my company credit card I am assuming it is the billing address is not the same as my home address
Difficult with registration
I haven’t used Hyatt for a while. The app won’t allow me to log in even though my email and phone number is still in stored. It won’t allow me to change my password either. Terrible. I have to use alternative email and phone number to register and log in.

Stays page fix
Just like there is a points calendar, Hyatt iPhone app needs to adopt a cash rate calendar. Just like with the points calendar, need to be able to view months at a time with the case rates per each individual night- just as is possible with viewing points rate per individual night. It’s silly this feature is not yet available.

This problem started occurring in Fall 2025. It must have occurred as an unintended consequence due to code of a Hyatt iPhone app update.
The Stays page of the Hyatt iPhone app needs to stop snapping back to the very top of the page every time I pop in and out of different reservations. I entirely lose the spot of or the reservation I was working on or reviewing. I can manually scroll to the top if I need to- you do not need the app to restart me at the top each and every single time- it is actually more disruptive than helpful. But I cannot again find the spot of the date of the reservation I was looking at, reviewing, or modifying. Stop the snap back to the top of the Stays page after each time a user opens a reservation on their Stays page on Hyatt iPhone app.

shouldn't have to update my device just to use this app!!!! especially when NOTHING on this app is different... prices ain't dropping or nothing so what's the point of updating my device!!!! i'll just delete the app and book with another brand... no big deal

App Update
I am no longer able to use the app as it requires the latest IOS to use which requires an additional 20GB of storage. Now I must use the internet browser on my phone to use Hyatt. It’s very inconvenient.

Don’t make the update required
As a Globalist, this is frustrating I cannot use this app anymore unless I update it. I cannot update it without getting the newest iOS. Please address this.
Mandatory update doesn’t support old IOS version
The latest mandatory update requires IOS 18 and higher version meaning the users who are still on IOS 17 or lower can’t use the app anymore. Developers need to think twice before they make such poor decision, backward compatibility is the minimum for any software release.
Making update reqiured is stupid
This is just an hotel booking app so compatibility is much more important. Why making an update that requires iOS 18.4 or older required to use the app? Not everyone likes the new iOS versions. I am and will be use iOS 17 for as long as it takes, in this case I’ll just book other hotels then.

App unusable unless you update to iOS 18+
Hyatt is forcing an update to the app that isn’t available on devices below iOS 18. Majorly inconvenient for the people that don’t feel the need to drop thousands of dollars on a phone every year. Please remove this requirement.

I currently use iOS 17.6.1 because 18.0 forces the use of AI to view photos, emails, and other app’s data (even if you turn it off). Please build app support so that I can continue to use and enjoy the Hyatt app.
Can’t upgrade app!!
I can no longer upgrade the app. Your most recent upgrade requires iOS 18.0 or later & my device can not be upgraded to that iOS. This is becoming a problem with many apps! Frustrating!
Why force users to update the app?
Other hotels such as Marriott and IHG update their app without breaking usage in iOS 17 or earlier. Why force users to update their iOS version to use the latest version of the app?
Won’t pull in 3rd party reservations
Reservation made for me by SatoTravel, the DoW’s travel reservation system. Can’t pull it into the app. Won’t be a problem for me in the future, I’ll make it a point not to stay in a Hyatt Hotel.

What kind of flashy features this app is supposed to have that makes it require iOS18+?? And you just blocked all functions in the older version of the app, forcing an app update, which also means forcing us to get at least iOS18. Not a wise move. Huge inconvenience to me.

Version 26.2.0 completely broke voiceover for iOS accessibility and no Hyatt accessibility statement
This most recent version completely broke iOS, voiceover accessibility, which is critical for users who are Blind who use the VoiceOver screen reader on iOS devices. The update essentially made the app a brick and completely useless. Voiceover does not read any information in the tabs any longer and you cannot interact with or access key information about your account or reservations. Also, I’m a Hyatt website. There is no accessibility statement and no way to contact a specific team handling accessibility. They tell you to contact the standard customer service channels, and those people are gonna have no idea what we’re talking about when we’re speaking of iOS voiceover accessibility, and the related information that a developer would need to address that.

After a week, Hyatt still has NOT fixed a problem they acknowledge. Can NOT see future reservations.

PLEASE make the app usable for people to have older IOS versions. The new IOS updates have been awful so I have not updated my phone in a few years but now I can’t even use this app unless I update. Please remove the update notification and let me just use the old app.

Broken digital key
Not showing my digital key in the app even though I’m checked in and it said my room is ready
Scam sometimes
The app somehow likes to misguide you. When I try to select the free night award, it also provides other options I need to pay on top of all, if you click then you will pay and your free night awards are still there. That’s a scam, you should have clear information to let user know that.
Doesn’t work if you don’t have strong cell signal.
They push you to use this app but haven’t designed it to work without cell signal and can’t put a pass in the Apple wallet like other hotels making it useless.
