I can’t believe I pay for this service. Every update somehow introduces a new wave of bugs and glitches that never should’ve made it past testing. The app is anything but user-friendly-I constantly find myself fighting the search engine just to get basic information, because it’s so poorly optimized and incapable of handling even simple queries.
At this point, WorthPoint feels like one of the laziest, most uninspired companies out there. There’s no way anyone involved is genuinely proud of this product. It’s only a matter of time before someone with real coding, development, and product sense creates a proper alternative-because there’s no way WorthPoint can sustain itself like this.

This app is actually useless and expensive and it’s more work than any other Google goggles or eBay camera search. This doesn’t even have a camera search. It’s insane that they charge this much money for this app and customer service is horrible.

I paid $41 and I was unable to get a refund based on the fact that I was unable to login. It would continuously kick me out not let me reset my password. Unacceptable. Waste of money don’t even bother.
Unable to cancel subscription
Not able for 2 years now to use app, not able to change passwords, not able to cancel subscription, unable to contact site. I don’t have a computer, just this app on my phone….But Worthpoint is always there at renewal time to gather my $$$.
So many bugs
Ok so this bug hurts. Try to do an image search, select gallery, try to use the most recent picture you took. The last couple rows are hidden by the keyboard and they can not be selected.
App is Incredibly Bad
Spent most of my time locked out of my account. They don’t have self service to unlock or resetting an account. When you need it most on Saturday at an estate sale Worthpoint isn’t there. They need to work on their authentication process as they seem to be using mid-90’s technology. We bought a year long subscription and the only good thing about the experience is that they provided a prorated refund when we canceled our account.
App barely worked to begin with…
Newest update removed the “remember me” login feature. How is that an “app performance update”. Jesus Christ this app gets worse with every update.
Use Google Lens instead
Subscribed to WorthPoint and almost everything I uploaded and tried to get info on came up with different items. I used Google Lens and almost everything matched with terrific information. Save your money, Google Lens is FREE!!’

The most basic UX of apps is the ability to log in. Clearly you don’t care enough to even fix this most basic of issues. Therefore I assume you also can’t be bothered to be accurate or up to date on your actual product. I’m canceling.

Perfect example of how monopolies are bad…
This is the worst run site I have ever used. As others have stated, if you are a reseller you really have no other options that allow you to see old eBay records. If there were, this company would no longer exist. Constantly locking you out for too many failed log-in attempts when you tried…….once. And that’s using the correct password! If there is a problem processing your payment they lock you out INSTANTLY even if you’ve been a customer for years. I tried updating my payment information and immediately got an email that I had cancelled my subscription. When I tried to sign back up I’m told I already have an account. I finally access my account to find a banner that says my account is suspended for payment due. Just below that…….my account info says I’m active and fully paid. I go to the price guide…….prices are locked. I try to upgrade just to see if I can get access……it says I’m fully paid and won’t let me change anything. Look at the other reviews. This is far, far from a new thing and they are completely incapable of fixing it. Complete incompetence. They need to hire software people who know what they are doing because this is pathetic.

You cannot see the price of anything unless you buy the trial. You can find things, but you can’t see the price. I just wanted to see the price of an item I have but I have to pay money in order to see it. Why can’t it just be an easy actually helpful app from the start?
Not a great sign when the app WON’T EVEN OPEN
I do have a worthpoint subscription online, thought I’d try this despite the terrible reviews. The dumb thing won’t open up - just a static intro screen with no way to X out of it. Absolutely absurd coding.
Guess I shouldn’t have expected much from WP considering they had an “invest in us” banner that couldn’t be closed out of on their website for months!

Broken ui
Login as guest all the way at the bottom had to tap 20 time to get it to work. Wouldn’t let me use camera without at least enabling limited photo access. Tried to capture an image and click the confirm button but would never accept. Tried to give it a photo and it complained about having limited access and had to again fight with the ui to skip. Then it finally showed me some bad matches and said I had to upgrade my account to see the price. What a waste of time.
Can’t believe the app is still this bad
I’ve had WorthPoint for years. After the overhaul to “upgrade” to a more functional app, the user experience is still almost unusable. Nearly every search I do has an error while I’m scrolling the results. It loads the first few and then has an error with red letters and all results disappear. Redoing the search only yields the same error.
Another quirk is when you tap the search bar to modify the query it simply slides back to a previous page where you have to tap the search bar yet again.
The experience is a mixture of some clunky and some completely unusable. I can’t think of any features that are smooth or enjoyable to use.

Junk App - Technical Issues
Worked once then wouldn’t take my password after first use. Tried to reset it 5 times over 3 days. Kept saying my email address didn’t match. Lots of technical issues. I got frustrated and cancelled the subscription.

No I do not want face id. I want the app to stop logging me out or at the very least to remember my email and password when I enable remember me. is there a reason why new electronics don’t show up on the site? Is this service dying or is it going to continue to be a tool that I can actually use in the field? I guess I’ll wait for the next update… 💀
Too expensive.
I suppose this may be a decent app to have available if your a professional appraiser or your primary income is in reselling. That is assuming you’re doing either successfully. Otherwise it’s grossly overpriced. Not only is it wildly expensive but also it has to be paid monthly! If you’re a weekend thrifty person such as myself then I suggest you continue doing whatever you’ve been doing for years.
Worth no points
You’ve reached the maximum failed app update attempts and my account is closed. When I subscribed to WorthPoint in 2015 the app was perfect and critical for my business. Since then with each update it has cumulatively gotten worse. Most of the items I have sold that show up in their archive now list the “sold” price as the list price when I accepted lower offers. When I’m on location at a sale or helping with appraisals I constantly get locked out of the app with this password issue and there’s no time to go through the whole password process again. I don’t trust the app anymore and with all the free results available out there it’s not Worth anything to me anymore. In fact the last time I got locked out a few months ago I just quit using it and I’m not missing it one bit. 5 dollars a month maybe, 27 no way. Save it.
Zero Starts
I’m paying for a service I can’t even use. The website claims my account is “suspended@ and go to “settings” in the mobile app. THERE IS NOTHING LABELED “SETTINGS” IN THE MOBILE APP. The app indicates my subscribers is paid and up-to-date. There is no way to contact Worthpoint except by phone and they don’t answer.

This app has barely ever worked for me since its latest inception and revision. Whenever I need it, it says internal error. Worst waste of money in my entire life. years ago it used to work properly but not anymore.

While this company is a great service, this app is pathetic. One of the least functional apps I’ve ever used. I hope they fix it.

Probably the worst app I’ve ever used, which is saying a lot. Unfortunately they have data that I need for business and they’re the only option. The app works every now and then, as does the website. I’ve written to customer service on multiple occasions and never even received a response (and I pay them $30 a month).
They seem to be much more interested in raising money than actually offering their customers a decent user experience. Or even a user experience at all, because I can’t even use their app or website.

Stealing money
I downloaded the app and paid $37.99 for nothing to work. The app keeps asking me to subscribe but according to Apple, this app, and my bank statement I am already subscribed. I’m annoyed so I just cancelled my subscription but… buyer beware!!!

Worthless not Worthpoint
This app does not function especially since the update. Continuously locks you out after 1 attempt even though the password is correct. The filter makes what you’re looking for almost impossible to find. The app frequently freezes and shuts down mid search. Search has to be precise down to the exact wording or it does not search. Being that people use numerous words to list and search for the same item this needs to be corrected. We do not recommend this app. Save your money and spend it elsewhere because this app could not be less functional. This service costs ALOT and has been a terrible investment for our business.

Considering expensive this is it doesn’t function well. I think it’s because they want to make it annoying to people who try and share the subscription but it’s just annoying to everyone

Update is unusable!
I have been using WorthPoint for 7 years. The app that was used before the December 2022 update wasn’t perfect, but was fine. This new version, however, is totally unusable. Dates and info are cut off in the thumbnails, and when you try the horizontal list option, you can’t click on the individual items at all!
Biometrics don’t work at all, so why offer it? Filtering causes all sorts of havoc with your results and the whole app crashes over and over.
It seems as though this app was created by someone who doesn’t even understand the very basics of what WorthPoint is used for. It’s absolutely mind boggling how bad it is.

Was great…
The latest update 2/23 has really rendered this close to useless. It worked just fine before the update. I wish I could revert…Biggest annoyance is when you do a search you now get many non related items when using the filter. The login process now has glitches. I just use the web based version… I feel it’s in insult after the recent price increase..

Bad app
The website on a desktop is great. The app is worse than atrocious.
Don’t trust this app
I only share specific photos with apps. This is the very first one I’ve ever seen refuse to function unless I give it access to my entire photo library. That’s a hard no for me. The only reason to circumvent that privacy tool is if they’re trying to abuse it to access photos I don’t want to share with some random company. I’ll be canceling that $26/month subscription because they’ve lost my trust.

I cannot express how frustrating using this app is. Not only does it constantly refresh your session so you have to login it does not have a working face ID login or the ability to store your password so you have to actually type your email address every single time you login

I haven’t been able to access the app in months. Tried updating the app, tried uninstalling & reinstalling. Nothing works. Emailed Worthpoint asking to cancel my expensive subscription & I noticed today that they charged me for another month! Don’t do it! App was much better before they “enhanced” it.
Fix the app for as much as I pay!
Latest update is terrible. Promote me with the tutorial every time I open it and I have to enter my email every time, it doesn’t save my login info. This service is so expensive I’m considering cancelling.

I have nothing positive to say about the app. I can’t use face recognition then it won’t connect to my saved passwords and now I’m getting locked out after one failed attempt to sign on. Sure, maybe the website will work but I got so I could use the app. I canceled my subscription! Save your money!!! There is absolutely no value for the nearly $40 a month charge.

Let me begin by saying that I NEVER EVER leave reviews, and worthpoint is a wonderful resource to have a a reseller, but that is as far as I can go with the compliments. I’m a long time user on both the app and website, and for years I have been secretly and frustratingly hoping that whoever’s grandmother designed them both would be fired or either croak. But somehow, she presses on to make quite possibly the worst, most cumbersome app I’ve ever used. Seriously, it’s as though the designers have never used a normal search bar and made up their own rules to how it should function.
I will say they have worked out a few kinks that came with the new app, but major problems persist and I’m angry enough to leave a review, but not quite ready to drop them altogether…

Please go back to the way it was
This new update has ruined the app. I have had to change my password multiple times, it is not easy to navigate, and it doesn’t save my login. Please go back to how it was, this is not user friendly. I have been a paying customer for a while but if it stays like this I will have to cancel.
