And why are people saying this game is so f2p friendly?! It’s NOT. The anniversary gifts sucks and their events aren’t fun. What is that cube race thingy!?

New/Returning player troubles
This game feels extremely hostile to people who are coming back to the game or are just starting. It’s so frustrating that the only way to access any of the new areas and especially events, is to go through every single tedious main story misson that racked up while you were gone. None of the rewards for doing these feel worth it to me, and it ends up feeling like a drag. Not even skipping dialogue makes it bearable. Exploration and the story are two of the things wuwa really shines in, but there’s no incentive for me to actually want to do the main quests go actualy explore new areas since the rewards feel lackluster compared to the effort put in.
Refused to even load on MacBook Air
My MacBook should be able to run this perfectly fine. It shows me the logo screen and the warning and then it just has a looping pulsing screen that never ends. Can’t even get to the main menu of the game. I’ve tried everything from clearing the cache, re-installing, lowering my desktop quality, and yet nothing works. Literally unplayable unless they put out a patch.
Glitchy and mechanics are to bugged.
The game has nice presentation. But the moves are bugged. The boss fights are pure troll. Like these bosses are the biggest rage baiters I’ve ever seen and I’ve played at least 30 or 40 different gachas and then they will make you feel like your characters are pure trash despite having duplicates and character recommended weapons. And the cherry on top. It could take a month just to upgrade the skills of a single character lol. Lvl 90 bosses only giving 3 and 4 material and you can only do it 3 times a week lol what a joke. The characters and fighting animations are pretty and the story isn’t bad but this game will definitely make you rage. And it’s by design so you feel more entitled to spend money and make your characters better.
Story and gender ratio
The story feels way to rover centered. None of the characters interact with each other. In 2.7 all of the characters in Rinascita were there, which could have had a lot of more dynamics and character interactions. Yet they were all standing in a circle facing Rover.
There could be events where characters talk to eachother and not just having text saying “we are really good friends” the events not being rover centered.
Also, when a character banner leaves, the character is gone, seeing the character no more in the story and instead seeing the new shiny new character. Like with Chisa, I hate how Chisa was managed, Chisa seemed like an interesting character and could have been with Rover more to flesh out the rest of her story more, not the whole story obviously. But once you had gotten to Lahai Roi, you got nothing more than optional dialogue and told the netting went well. Even though she has been gone for 20 YEARS.
You cannot connect with a character by spending time with them and just blow them off and forget about them, especially after having a unique concept and story. Because not everyone will be attracted to Meta or flashy animations. Some people want to connect to the character. And some people are interested in their story and how it will go and play.
The story could feel so much more alive with more dynamics and every answer being rover.
Same goes for the way the stories happen. It’s always 1. Meet the character 2. Get to know them 3. Find out they have a problem 4. fix that problem 5. Heartfelt moment. It’s not a bad way for a story to go, but for almost every character, it has been that way, and it is getting repetitive and making the story boring.
Also, I would like to add is the female to male ratio. It is terrible, 1-2 males coming out every year. I (and many others) would like more limited 5 star males. Ones that are mainly revolved around in the regions story like the females have been throughout the whole game. Because the men in this game has little story compared to the women.
Seeing in 2.7 that throughout all Rinascita’s cast, there was only one male, which was weird and displeasing to see. I think more men, with as much love put in their story and gameplay, like with the women in the game should be made. Like a male sentinel resonator, or even a male like Augusta for example, or a character like Kamui from Punishing Gray Raven.
More diversity in the game should be made. More than just 1 for every region. Males with as much complex stories as the girls, good kits, fluid, fun, and flashy animations. A fun gameplay, and to actually be shown in the main story more than for 15 minutes.

Way too much storage
Why do I need to delete all my game just to play this, it’s like 45 GB and 35 GB that’s way too much

Installed the game a month ago and had enough storage space and was able to play the game and now with the new update I am unable to play it across ALL DEVICES. THIS IS ABSURD HOW POORLY OPTIMIZED THE GAME IS THAT IT IS ALMOST 100GB ON MOBILE MONILE WHAT CRACK HEAD THOUGHT THAT THIS SHOULD BE APPROVED?

Where is collaboration?
The story of the event is fine, but you actually get the characters are so annoying that it’s not funny and every other game I have ever played when it comes to a vent characters they made it easy but in this game, Jesus it never was so hard for me to get an event character in a game ever in my life and and that’s not even mentioning trying to get their weapon

Worlds have become stacked zones requiring “travel” .. the REAL open world experience of WuWa does NOT exist anymore. The rich environments, replaced by cheap developers not educated or talented enough to be original or to have an original thought. Replaced by accountants willing to take a dollar from anyone wishing to make a commercial for their product. It was only a matter of time before the Devs turned it into a P2W CashGrab .. why keep a good thing. Now, you’re going to need your wallet if you want to play .. AGAIN, it was ALL FREE and 100x better 1 year ago. Lastly, congratulations are in order … fantastic job DESTROYING WuWa; un-installed & deleted.
Glitches
The game overall is good with the background dialogue and the graphics and the designs but my major concern is the connection between when you’re playing. It tends to glitch it glitch a lot when I’m playing it and and it all also kicks me out a lot of of the game when I’m playing so it’s a big dealbreaker that I have when I’m playing withering wave.
So if there was like any way, they could fix the glitching problem whenever I play the game that would be very helpful, especially when I’m playing it on my iPhone. It would really help because the glitching problem, the way for some reason it kicks you out if the app is really annoying, and it doesn’t help me with my gaming experience at all.

If you think I’m being harsh, read a lot of the more recent 4-5 star reviews. This game crashes like crazy, fps is horrendous in any region after Septimont, the game eats up your storage every chance it gets, and the experience ends up being more stressful than it is pleasant. I’m a day 1 player and wuwa has been one of my favorite games for a long time. My PC can’t handle it anymore and neither can my iPhone or iPad now. Please fix it. I had to miss out on 2nd Anniversary + Cyberpunk collab because of this.
Frames suck and crashes
my frames drop and I have the graphics and everything on low or off, and it still crashes, when I am in a boss fight I am stuck in a loop because of the boss bar resets each time my game crashes and I have low health after that crash which ends in me dying. I can’t even defeat the boss because of this, they need to do something about it so I’m not stuck in a death loop because of the frames and crashes. I still enjoy the game up till the part I am stuck in a death loop f that I can’t even exit the mission without loosing progress. If the frames were better on mobile I would have not gotten in a death loop from a boss fight and I could enjoy the game.
An annoying and frustrating experience
On an every new update the game needs huge amount of space to download the new files but doesn’t go back to normal size after compiling and processing. With every new update the game doubles the size then it’s actual size. This is a very serious issue. Hope the developers solve this with their keen attention.

Took the gooner route
I loved collecting animals/monsters and bringing them on my side (always enjoyed Pokemon and other monster duel games).
However, I was wary with the original opening with the MC crashing out over this unknown girl getting hurt. Then got to the city and aside from the gorgeous red haired scientist, all the fancy divine people were women. They ruined a characters outfit cause male players couldn’t stop whining about his groin being emphasized so they edited it. Imagine how the situation would have went if it were female players complaining about a female character having a camel toe. She would be bullied off the internet. The few males you added were limited and I lost pity on the freebie monk chick. More and more female characters spawning going the NTE, ZZZ, and genshin route.
I’m starting to dislike Star rail because of the “March 7th face” issue, no relationship to characters, Male ones even less so. However at least they add like 1 or 2 males here and there, but they also only make buyable costumes for female characters but, they also cracked and revived the brown haired foxian character who was k1ll3d as a 6~9 tailed fox.
Those who like men, avoid this. ZZZ, NTE, CZN, Genshin and play love and deep space, “what in h3ll is bad” (EXTREMELY PREDATORY WITH PRICES HOWEVER), believe it or not “faint grand order”
