I had downloaded this app to play some games and to decide if we will stay at the Encore Boston Harbor, as we have business in Boston. I am surprised to see no mention of Encore Boston Harbor on this app, are they not owned by Wynn?
All of the MGM properties appear on their apps so I am a little confused. I was hoping Wynn would be able to provide us with a more consistent experience.

Stay away from the scam
This app is fraudulent in its rigged losses and marketing towards heavily pushing in app purchases and immediately taking back any chips by making 90% of spins zeros. They say it’s for entertainment but what else would they say after continuously popping up in app purchases only to lose it all back. They should be arrested and Apple shame on you for backing their trashy style of ripping of players with devious scams. Insider meetings about how to take more from players and give nothing. Some legal entity please look into these criminal offenses.
Pay to Win. Not worth it!
Used to be a great way to get discounts to stay at the Wynn. Now they nuked everything, like lowest bet spin no longer can collect chest for the collection reward. Raised VIP cost from $500 to $750 for level 5 for 3 night stay and buffet eligibility. Games like “Lion Kill” and “4 The Loot” are modified too much. For Lion Kill, bonus round decreased to one or none. The entire 15 minutes of game play is dead spins, and then maybe one bonus trigger that’s not even enough to break even. “4 The Loot’s” bonus rewards amount decreased by 75%. And the worst problem is the Mystery Reward in the high limit room. It’s pretty much a SCAM. Often times while the display is showing still have 50 minutes left before it ends, so you keep on spinning, and even buy more coins to have enough; I log on from another device and it shows it’s already finished. Another time both devices showing the event is still live, then saw the reward amount suddenly counting from zero back up to the highest amount. At that point you quit out and reward is gone. Even more tricky move is you log on, the mystery reward event is still live. You don’t have enough coins so you make a purchase and go back, it’s over. This happened too many times that I’m certain it’s not coincidence. For the VIP price, you can get less on weekday stays or non-busy timeframe even on weekends. The hardest part is even if you do spend the amount needed for VIP level, you still need to have enough gem to redeem rooms, and that takes time, energy, and more money so you are most likely ended up spending more than $750 to get 3 nights, or 2 nights with a buffet, due to gem cap. Bottom line, only if you are fascinated and addicted to the game design, I advise you to stay away or you will definitely spend more money to get the rooms than if you pay regular price.

Misleading/Overly Complicated Rewards
You basically have to spend at least $200 just to unlock the ability to redeem rewards for one night. Even at Level 3, you can only book one night every 90 days. Once those 90 days are up, your status resets, and you have to pay into that level all over again. That means redeeming a free night is nearly impossible unless you’re willing to spend a minimum of $200 every single cycle. And even then, you still have to pay the roughly $50 per-night resort fee when you redeem. At that point, with all the fine print, restrictions, and extra hurdles, the “reward” barely feels like a reward. You end up paying almost the same amount you would have if you had just booked the room normally. I’ve had this game for nearly five years and have spent well over that amount cumulatively, yet I still haven’t been able to redeem anything because they keep adding more barriers and restrictions with every update. I was excited to finally use my rewards on a buffet, but that wasn’t even available. Every day on the calendar is X’d out….lol. Seriously?

Since the main incentive is collecting rewards, all the paywalls and restrictions around using them really take away from the experience. I doubt many people will keep playing when there are so many better Vegas rewards games out there that are more fun, more reasonable, and far less frustrating!

If you like wasting your time and money then these are the games for you. They string you along for a short time and then you lose it all. I’ve been playing on this app for some time and noticed a pattern that is hard to miss. These games are all about sales, not fun. Good luck.
Charged for what I did not buy
The app charged me $29.99 for game pass level up last weekend for which I did not buy at that time.

This app used to be very good but looks like they made so much money and they made changes so you loose your coins and purchase coins again. It’s not worth it anymore.
Need to pay to get on Level 3 to be able to redeem the hotel stay
Spent some money buying chips and got over 17,000 gems . Trying to redeem the hotel but now they ask me to pay more like $200 to get level 3 so I can redeem the hotel stay + $55 /night resort fee . What the point paying for the chips and spending thousands of hours to play the game
5 years of watching game deteriorating
Not rewarding, no big wins anymore, no point keeping your VIP status. Huge discrepancy between players’ ability to wager no matter how much you pay. And if you think you pay=you win, no, that’s not the case. Loosing streaks are endless. Overall, disappointing because you have to keep spending to get rewards, but you keep losing in the game. The reward system is such that it’s cheaper to buy the nights at Wynn outright with Wynn specials rather than spending money on the game hoping to get free nights. They are not free anyway since Wynn introduced a resort fee for which you get nothing of value. And yeah, no loyalty appreciation.

They’re a bunch of crooks and fraudsters. Not only did they take away one night after the people paid money for it, but they also rig the games so people don’t win anything. Developers double charge you when they get a chance and tighten the slots so they can steal more money from you. The people on top of the leaderboard are relatives of the developers with unlimited chips, this slot game is not worth playing, don’t book through them since you’ll get the worst rooms ever with constant maintanance issues.

It is definitely programmed to win even free games. No way you can win anything. Winning 2 hands out of 20 in blackjack is even the most crooked casino will be ashamed. Shame on you game developers and software engineers. You are crooks

This used to be a very good app to spend your time with because you earn some perks, but with all the changes they made with the cap and ranking and other stuff…it is now just a waste of time. You will end up spending more $$ getting your rank up just to use the Gems you earned. Now you are also capped on earning gems if you are at lower rank. To rank up you will end up paying more than booking your own room at the normal rate. LOL …. It is just a waste of time now. Check out other apps that still give you better perks for playing.
Don’t expect too much.
I have been playing this game for years and have mixed feelings about my experience. On one hand, the free rooms are quite nice and provide a pleasant environment when in Vegas. However, when it comes to the actual gameplay, things take a disappointing turn. To truly enjoy the game and earn bigger rewards, you find yourself needing to spend a significant amount of money. The mechanics are frustrating, especially since you rarely get chests from spins or the dragon orbs or whatever it is you need to win the mini games, which adds to the overall feeling of being shortchanged. The battles can be fun, but it’s disheartening when computer opponents suddenly pull off massive wins, knocking you out repeatedly, typically by n their last spin or two and they do it over and over back to back. The odds seem heavily stacked against players, making victories feel more like a rarity than a reward for effort. I used to love this game and have invested a considerable amount of money, leading me to feel as if I might as well have paid for the so-called "free rooms." Ultimately, the constant losing has made it far less enjoyable. It’s a shame, as the potential for fun is there, but the overall execution leaves much to be desired.

I will not be visiting Wynn or encore in the future, especially with the long list of hotels I can explore with all the free and discounted gifts playing on the other games.
I’m planning to hang on to the game just to see if they get their heads out of their you know what’s and actually make changes to have this be a real reward system, not a scam bait and switch. No longer fun or rewarding
Due to recent app updates, this game has become unbearable to play any longer. If you are going to play for room comps, What was hard to achieve is now basically impossible to accomplish organically. You will need to pay even more to acquire the level needed to get a room. Ive enjoyed this game for years, so sad to see the blatant money grab update😞😞
New update is horrible
This used to be a good app that I enjoyed playing regularly. Recently, they updated the app and changed the rules on earning gems and how rewards are redeemed. The changes they made, made the game useless to play for two reasons. The first, your coin stack goes a lot quicker without earning any gems. Second, the amount of gems needed for a 1 night hotel stay has increased significantly. Third, in order to redeem the gems, you need to spend anywhere from $700 - $1000 to be able to book consecutive nights. At that price point, you are better off booking a room directly with another hotel that is in the middle of the strip! The developers have really hurt themselves by making these changes. Their own greed, killed the vitality of this game. If you want to play a slots game that doesn’t break the bank and gives you usable rewards without spending a fortune, myVEGAS is the way to go.
Waste of time
Wasted years playing this game to build up banked gems for a future stay. Developers changed the booking and earning terms without notice so now my bankroll will sit unused. Terrible updates to the app, they basically killed the game. Beyond disappointing.

This game used to be really fun. Recent changes took away hotel nights earned and tightened the slots so you never have big wins. It is defeating. You just lose, lose, lose…….

It’s fine if you just want to play for fun. But in order to earn gems to exchange for rooms, you have to pay first to get to a certain vip level. And there may not be enough time for you earn enough gems to exchange for rooms by the time the vip level expires.
Don’t waste your time, delete!
The latest update makes me think this wynn slots app is trying to drive away players and shut itself down. There’s no way these changes were made to “improve and enhance user experience” when they respond to one star reviews. Don’t you see all the negativity after the update? I get two free nights and free buffets regularly in myVegas. Get that app instead.

There is no need for the app team to add a canned reply. We will be staying at the Wynn next month, and have 33,000 gems, but we won’t be using the app for the room. That is how bad the game has become. The game was costing the hotel next to nothing, and generating interest/addiction to very profitable slot machines. The developers have actually created a negative view of the hotel due to constantly worsening the benefits of playing. Just read the comments and FAQ in the “Wynn Slots” Facebook forum to understand why you should never waste your time and money anymore with this app.

Happy I got a few stays out of this game but greed has taken over and it’s no longer worth paying to level up or play the many hours it takes to get a room after the newest update. I will just pay for stays now or stay at other properties. It’s a shame as this was a fantastic game before they changed the rules to run it into the ground.

Don’t bother. This ap used to be great. Now it is just a waste of time and you still end up paying basically full price for your room but you also wasted hours and hours of time. Just wait until you see cheaper mid day nights and buy direct. I have been playing this ap for years but it is worthless now.
Why bother?
For the price it costs to attain 1 free night on this app, it’ll cost you the same amount to just stay there for 2. Financially doesn’t make any sense unless you genuinely enjoy spinning virtual slots and if that’s the case, there are much better options out there.

Love Wynn but app is terrible after latest update
I’ve been a loyal Wynn customer since it opened in 2005. I found the app only a few years ago when it was still very worth while to play and earn some rooms at a reasonable rate. Now the new update makes it basically worthless. Before you could play and play until you had enough to buy up to the level for getting a few nights. Now you get stuck at a certain level until you pay more. Not cool! Hopefully they care or maybe they are just trying to kill the app.
