It’s not my wifi and I know that without a doubt (I’ve had 20+ years of networking experience). Fire the devs introducing dumb bugs.

My friend’s friend give me Wyze camera, one of the outdoor camera not working because it required the original owner to login to unregistered. But my friend’s friend pass away, what can I do. Wyze suck

Absolute trash, the app is so unreliable. Doesn’t record or respond when you need it to. In a rush or a pinch? It’ll never load and put you in an endless spin on ‘step 3’. Complete trash

Yet again, there is an issue. Tonight after 7 pm the camera went black with no recordings. I have had this garbage for many years and it has given me a loss of hope at this point. I am going to pull the plug on this reliable camera that went dark and then there was a stupid update and still to no avail. You are better off getting a camera elsewhere where it does not go black, offline etc. and cause you to miss events around your home.
Continued Crapification
Wyze has continued to crapify their app and firmware to the point of unuseability. My theory is that they’re nerfing sd card reading so badly that you’re forced to subscribe to their cloud service.

13 cameras replace five already now I’ve completely lost since countless upgrades. The ability to even have motion event log or sound event. Log disappeared in the last two weeks… the help has really been dismal.. no explanations as to what is happening and why.. Blink having no problem at all I am only able to use this for in real time viewing 13 cameras useless at this time

I had Wyze since they first started and now they are jacking up the subscription rates till it is intolerable. Cancelled today.
Not reliable
Always freezing, or no connection. Always have to disconnect and reset hub which is hard to do if you are away, which defeats the purpose of all this. I wish I would have went a different route..
Issue with app.
I was using the app with no issues and suddenly it won’t let me use the app. I have a paid subscription and it reroutes me through chrome to track my location it states and share things about me. Very weird!
So disappointed again, and again!
So once again no problem all season, one day into travel and cameras go down. I bought them to feel more secure and then they go off line and no way to fix it remotely.

I just bought this camera and regret it. I bought two SD cards and still the video is not saved to my album.
You have made it impossible to enjoy this camera without a subscription. It is not easy to see videos taken and it is a risk to my safety. I want a refund of the products I bought.

Stupidity - lost my trust
Their support on this app is inept. I only use the app in the summer to control my sprinklers. It needs email authentication, facial recognition and a password. People hacking my sprinklers and over watering my lawn are not a concern that requires this level of security, support should be able to turn it off. I changed email addresses so the system only solution is to lose my account and create a new one, by hard reseting the module. If someone is a going to hijack my sprinklers schedule all they’d have to do is a hard reset, and connect their phone. I understand we need security in this world, but this is not thought out and they’ve got zero ability to support over the phone.

Honestly by far the worst cameras on the market, plus the app is somehow even worse. I truly believe that the camera purposefully misses any event that you are wondering about. #always wonder with Wyze

All of a sudden stop working
All of a sudden some cameras will stop working, had for only 1 year, 3 cameras and all of a sudden doorbell cam and side of house will stop working, and that’s even when the doorbell is rang, and no help
New camera with light
Always offline can’t restart it. I would not recommend. Do not buy going to get ring.
Landscape sucks
It is so frustrating when only half the app will works in landscape mode. One star every update until resolved. I'm tired of it. The year is 2026. Come on developers!

Always disconnects
I have 2. One i don’t use bcs it never worked right. The other one always disconnects and you have to physically unplug it. Not helpful if you’re away. I wouldn’t buy again.
App functions rarely work
I have had Wyze cams for about 7 years now and within the last few years have noticed a significant decrease in the quality of the functions on the app. For example the playback doesn’t work, it’s constantly glitchy and I have been through all of the troubleshooting steps to fix it but never works properly.

The worst cameras on the market!!!
I bought over two dozen and that was a huge regret. They stop working and they stop recording on the SD card. They’re not reliable when you need them the most they don’t work. I’m telling everyone I know not to buy these cameras what a waste of money.!!!
Video Storage Scam
I pay for 60 days video cloud storage. Wyze defaults it to 14 days and makes me go into each individual camera to change it to 60. On top of that, they randomly change cameras back to 14 days after I've already set it to 60. Criminal!
The default should be the longest storage a user pays for, in my case 60 DAYS- with a toggle to make it shorter if I so choose and ONLY if I so choose.

Camera glitches 10 times daily
The app loses connection about 5-10 times a day, I’m constantly hitting refresh manually to restart recording. My wifi connection is great, my blink and ring cameras never have this issue. I’ve submitted 200+ logs when prompted about the issue, yet nothing has been done to fix it in over 2 years. For the $100 membership fee, these cameras are not worth the hassle. Blink and Ring camera subscriptions are way better, I would not repurchase a wyze camera.
MOVE THE SIREN
I would have given 5 stars until the latest update made the siren button so easy to push. I’ve ruined many naps for my kids trying to zoom in on the camera and accidentally setting it off. I’m about throw these cameras away!!!
Never see events and paywall everything
I have a remote cabin, so is not like I will have a lot of events. But after 2 years Ive yet to see when my neighbors comes by to check on my place in an app event. They send me phone pics and i can manually find them in past recordings, so I know they are showing up. Other issues are every feature has moved behind a paywall since i got them 2 years ago, cameras don’t work with standard external protocols and if wifi drops they stop recording entirely. Will be dumping these junk cameras when I can.
Inconsistent
The app is often buggy. I have several cameras, a doorbell, light switches, etc. I have a strong network connection in my home. However, devices will often disconnect or video replays will be cut off mid video. It is incredibly frustrating. I have been using Wyze products since day one with the initial camera release.

Wyze use to be the best, I’ve referred several people to try Wyze. I was excited when my Mom was in home hospice, I could watch her all day. Lately, the cameras don’t pick up no detection!! Wyze have let so many faithful customers as myself down!

Worked ok at first but now since it updated itself into oblivion it can’t work-quite possibly designed that way on purpose so I would have to upgrade (right out of the apple playbook). Give me my money back a*+holes!!!

Cameras are not responsive and when they do work they pickup the wrong things (a bug flying by is a vehicle. Also they keep increasing their pricing. I have 2 flood light cams, a flood light PTZ solar cam and 3 others.
Awful, dismal, and it makes me feel sad.
Buggy software that works seemingly when it wants to. God forbid you have an emergency and actually have to access your camera. You have less than a 50-50 chance that it will work. Wyze equipment is a terrible waste of money. Most of mine have gone into the trash. Cameras last six months to a year and my robot vacuum lasted three months. Absolute garbage.
A Disgrace
Had our account for over 6 years, 8 devices attached to the account along with monthly payments for services. All that and still couldn’t get customer service to do more than email every few days to “try” and fix my issues. They then stopped responding completely except for a “we haven’t heard from you so we’re closing your case.” Just an absolute joke of a company if this is how they treat longtime cuetomers. 0/10 would never recommend. Don’t trust your home security to Wyze, they’ll leave you hanging when you need them.

Low quality cameras that sometimes work, and are occasionally useful (on accident). The app itself is all but worthless, micro transactions make it pay-to-win. There are better alternatives. I still find the occasionally useful.

I heard the doorbell and so did my dog at midnight and not only did the stupidly app make me re-login which took forever but by then whoever was gone and I had no record of it whatsoever. The other current cameras I have overheat and I really rather not have to buy more of this brand just to use this app. It used to be good now I have no faith in it

The App’s reaction time to review footage is way too slow. By the time it opens up and plays what should have been live footage, the event has already passed. Communicating via the Wyze App is impossible. It is very disappointing, especially since it’s one of the main reasons I got the camera.
Still needs work
I’ve had this app for 18 months. When I reviewed it over a year ago. in going through the timeline on the recorded feeds at some point whether it’s on my iPad, my iPhone or any other the system in the middle of the progression will revert back to a time and start showing fresh feeds that I’ve already looked. It’s been doing it the whole time I’ve had the service and it’s ridiculously stupid that you can’t fix it. It’s not an operator problem. It’s a glitch in the software. Please fix it.
If in app purchases don’t work, don’t allow them!!!
My subscription purchased through apple recently renewed, but apparently the renewal never actually went to my account. So now my devices are deleted from my account and I can’t use them, and now I have to buy another subscription through their website while not being eligible for a refund for the in app purchase.
