Used to be good
I normally review details about the stocks here. More recently, I have noticed a lot of crypto bro and/or biased perspective segments playing where normally they would have news or CEOs interviews. Additionally, the ads have increased as well so almost every other news story is an advertisement. Luckily, it says the word ad next to it.
Getting worse after every new update
Now on iPad, it doesn’t show all the tickers on the right side anymore. You have to scroll half page and then the ticker section starts to scroll. It’s a complete garbage designed by some 3rd world morons who eat curry everyday but never use the app at all.
Glitches and more glitches
This is the most misleading app for price action. So many glitches specially after hours, right after close and in pre markets . Delete
Prices very inaccurate
portfolio is off by significant trends and dollars for some of my stocks compared to Schwab and dependable and unreliable. Don’t use it to trigger any trade.
Wildly Inaccurate
When I pull in multiple portfolios, it aggregates the information wildly inaccurate. I reported this issue several times and it continues to be a problem. For example, my current YTD performance shows over a 22 million dollar loss and 89% decline. In 5 days, it shows I lost over 145 million dollars for a 97% decline.

Everything Removed
Every comment I post is removed. I can post “Hi!” and Yahoo says it violates their community guidelines. They’ll probably remove this review, ridiculous.
A UI disaster!
After deleting the app a year or so ago when they had trashed their once great classic Ui, I was hoping with time they had finally put something usable back out there again, but so sad to see just an unsable mess. Have they ever even looked at what this current UI mess looks like on a small iPhone screen?

There is a Sign In to post button and I sign in but it just asks me to sign in again. Repeat…
3. I keep getting notifications saying "Tap to find out what's driving the movement." with no indication what stock/company/etc it's for. This started about a month ago. Previously there was always a company/stock name in the notification. This is in the long list of all notifications.
4. Bad data all over the place that they refuse to fix even when reported to their tech support.
5. They keep breaking things that used to work and changing things for the worse.
Sad. Pathetic.

Scary Writers - BOO!
Get quality writers w/o a profuse Fear Mongering “what ifs” style…
Phone gets very hot
Within seconds after opening the app the phone starts to get very hot and battery drains very quickly
Message Boards
Been using this app for 25 years between phone and browser. The newer message boards are ok but when you block someone it doesn’t stick and more importantly the SPAM has increased. Even when you report SOAM of other sites and links, the AI can’t figure it out.
Late IPO information
This app seems to miss sharing some IPO information on its calendar…. Plus- a lot of comments/articles are saturated with political “feelings.”
Unable to log in
Sent feedback thru the app but no response, cant even log in as it glitches in the first phase. Makes this app unusable.

Futures broke
Stock futures not working
New update moved the days until next earnings report for stock.
So now we have a big button to trade on coinbase instead of a message saying the next earnings date is x number of days away.
New version can’t add portfolio

Fails booting up
Fails to boot up a couple of times, occasionally goes black, then loads. Has only ever happened since last update. Only happens with iOS app, working normally on my Android device.

It Just Gets Worse every Update
Now I cannot rate or enter a comment. The system keeps asking me to select an account or sign in even though I am already logged on.
Next you removed the point change for market indicators leaving only the % change. Why? How does that add anything to a user?

Version 26.9.2 Lost all of my alerts 😡
This update, released 5-14-26, lost all of my Stock Alerts, and now I can’t add new ones.
Too many errors and restrictions
This site COULD be great, but there are two very annoying problems: 1. Info is wrong on some tickets and remains wrong for months. Basic things like the yield of GPIX and GPIQ (among others) are totally off - not even close.
2. On the message board, YAHOO restricts a lot of what can be said - things that wouldn’t / shouldn’t violate any rule

Daily Brief is annoying
The daily brief that pops up when you open the app is incredibly annoying. There is no way to disable it. Really irritating.
Yahoo Conversation Boards
App was much better before the conversation boards were removed.
Slow and clunky
The app has been very slow and data is slow to load as well. I uninstalled and installed again and it behaves the same way. The widgets are now missing

Password Nightmare
I recently changed my password and now the app will not let me sign in with my new password. I enter the username and password and it goes into a loop asking me for it! If I try anything else it just goes into another loop asking the same thing over and over again. I managed to log in after trying different things persistently and 12 hrs later it said “unusual behavior with the account” and I’m back at trying to log in, UNSUCCESSFULLY!!!
