Very poorly managed! I would not recommend this unless you like being frustrated. I can’t imagine their premium service is any better!

Futures broke
Stock futures not working
New update moved the days until next earnings report for stock.
So now we have a big button to trade on coinbase instead of a message saying the next earnings date is x number of days away.
New version can’t add portfolio

It Just Gets Worse every Update
Now I cannot rate or enter a comment. The system keeps asking me to select an account or sign in even though I am already logged on.
Next you removed the point change for market indicators leaving only the % change. Why? How does that add anything to a user?

Bad information for clicks
Yahoo has a very big habit of creating political content which generates clicks and not really content with keener financial insights. The app designers are rather bright with an exception for the community portion who need to learn type. The app features are lightweight in terms of finance with a lot of competitors offering AI insight for free among slot of other synthesis. much better finance apps out there that could use Yahoo designers.

3. I keep getting notifications saying "Tap to find out what's driving the movement." with no indication what stock/company/etc it's for. This started about a month ago. Previously there was always a company/stock name in the notification. This is in the long list of all notifications.
4. Bad data all over the place that they refuse to fix even when reported to their tech support.
5. They keep breaking things that used to work and changing things for the worse.

News articles very rarely reflect timely information or are later on to be found non factual and have too more political spin

The ‘4 Hour’ time frame in the Yahoo Finance Charts for both the mobile app and desktop is not working. I contacted the support team several times to no avail
Used to love
Lately I get pop ups for articles on my iPad Air3, but when the link is clicked, the title appears with blank content. My watch list displays in real time. My app is current version.

New Format
The new format sucks. And it really sucks bad.
Used to be great
They ruined this app. Too hard to navigate. Used to be easy to change your holdings, good luck now. Somethings are charged for to unlock that used to be free ( analysts) and the format is messy instead of clean and concise. Time to move on..
Forces User to Link To Account
The donkeys who work at Yahoo should be fired. They now force the Daily Brief, covering up your stocks page. So now I will delete this Yahoo App and use other stock trackers. Just an absolutely idiotic change to hinder users. Hope it was worth it Yahoo donkeys. Bye!
Daily Brief is annoying
The daily brief that pops up when you open the app is incredibly annoying. There is no way to disable it. Really irritating.
Yahoo Conversation Boards
App was much better before the conversation boards were removed.
Slow and clunky
The app has been very slow and data is slow to load as well. I uninstalled and installed again and it behaves the same way. The widgets are now missing

Password Nightmare
I recently changed my password and now the app will not let me sign in with my new password. I enter the username and password and it goes into a loop asking me for it! If I try anything else it just goes into another loop asking the same thing over and over again. I managed to log in after trying different things persistently and 12 hrs later it said “unusual behavior with the account” and I’m back at trying to log in, UNSUCCESSFULLY!!!
Why no 52 week range
No slider on the 52 week range on the mobile app. That’s trash. That’s the most important thing I like to see!!! The website is worthless it’s so slow. And that’s the only place to see it

If I want information on stocks I can get it easily, but now stock stories are shoved down my throat so as to it makes it more difficult to easily monitor my positions. having been in the programming field, I lament the tendency of programmers fixing what is not broken so as to change a product for the worse.; the worst aspect of this, once I get all of my stuff loaded and I’m depending on this they do a software update and wipe out all my previous information. So I know I keep this to stay current but I also write everything down in a book because it’s on expendable it’s unreliable. It’s been a dozen times where they did updates and wiped out everything that came before.
Wasn’t impressed by this app
There is literally loads of other apps that offer the same features. Although the other ones actually put in effort to the design and layout. Unlike the developer of this one.

Buggy app
In recent weeks links to research reports sometimes work and some times don’t. Also, links to my brokerage account have suddenly stopped picking up all investments; inexplicably, the app picks up only some stocks from each of my accounts. I’ve tried yahoo’s help (only avail via email and chat) and they just seem to offer a standard list of obvious troubleshooting ideas (eg delete and reinstall app) and could not fix issues. They will not admit to anything caused by yahoo, such as known bugs and in process fixes. I am ready to cancel subscription. Too bad for yahoo and its customers…
Hard to navigate
What is going on, it’s 2026 and this app is too hard to navigate. Why is it so hard for me to find my holdings and everything that I have in stock there are no tabs showing all of the stuff that I have linked to stock why do I have to form so many freaking following lists when it’s not the same thing there is a difference between a list of stock prices that you are following and a list of stocks you own the navigation on this app is ridiculous and hard to navigate there is no way of finding it. It’s 2026 really bad algorithms needs to be changed.
