Yahoo is bad!
I have always had three Yahoo accounts. I have always had all three show up on my iPad and on my android phone. The last several months, two of the accounts keep locking up on both devices. I have tried every trick in the book to get them to link back up again and they won’t. I have cleared the cache. I have cleared the data. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing works. I hate Yahoo right now, but I don’t like Gmail either. There’s a glitch in the system and I can’t figure out how to fix it. I haven’t had any trouble for years with all three accounts showing up and now the two drop off and I can only see one. And I do use all three accounts.

Ive had Yahoo Mail for 40 years. The new and improved SUCKS! As usual, some idiot trying to justify their job thought it would be a good idea to change things that weren’t broke. Too difficult to find old emails and way too easy to accidentally delete wanted emails while using the drop down.
Ads suck.
This app is not something I’ll stick with.

When I click on the app, nothing populates. I can’t even use the app anymore. I’ve deleted the app a couple of times and restarted my phone and still can’t use it. This sucks!!!
This is horrible
There’s no tutorials which makes it so hard for me to make a account I do not recommended playing this because this is annoying and when I was typing my age I did everything exactly right and it just closed up on my face

I’ve used this app for years and it’s always been great for my needs. Recently though it gets stuck on loading yahoo logo then closes itself out without opening going past that. Very frustrating as I use for every day communications. I’ve reset phone uninstalled reinstalled and still not functioning

Horrible email service!
Hundreds of spams were slipping through and causing me to miss important emails. I just deleted my account and went with Gmail because Gmail doesn’t allow your inbox to fill up with spam. Yahoo has a poor filtering system.

This app needs to be updated. It freezes every time I try to delete my emails. I have 19,000 emails down from 67000. I am tired of wasting my time on an app that is not working great.

Disappointing
Been using Yahoo Mail for decades typically through Firefox and decided to try the app on my Mac. Very goofy ui and not very intuitive. Locks up a few times and no simple way to use simple key strokes to navigate. This does not pass the Carol test and sj would have flunked it. Best to stick with the web portal.
Not what it used to be

Disappointed
Been using Yahoo email for decades usually on Firefox, but Yahoo started giving me some grief this morning about blocked ads (Helped Yahoo find some internal bugs), so decided to try out the Mac app for Yahoo email. Came up and logged in easily enough. But simple things like using a down or right arrow or some single click to the next email is not there. Tried keyboard features and things got even worse. Even Outlook’s UI goofy-ness is better. Having to click on each individual email on the left to read is senseless. Sj would have given this app a D-. Wish Carol was still around as I would just call her to ask about getting these bugs fixed.

I’m enjoying reading my pertinent emails, but I do have a problem with all of the ads. I don’t think that a customer should pay anything not to have ads in their email.

I’ve had yahoo mail since 1998. The last 5 years have been the most incredibly frustrating during that time. Tech support is now only available for paid accounts, regardless of the issue. Yet somehow they’ve found the $ to add unwanted AI features. Everything other week there’s a syncing issue that doesn’t currently delete emails. It also struggles to sync more than 1 yahoo account on the same app. I have 2 and 1 one of them was stuck in limbo for nearly a year. The banner ads that are shoehorned into the inbox display are offensive and there is no way to report them. (Same paywall as every other tech issue.) I’m only keeping these accounts because they are my longest standing contacts, otherwise I would have dropped this service years ago.
UPDATE: the developer’s response is disingenuous. There’s no email for free users to contact for Yahoo Mail support. Support options route back to a paywall for yahoo+ membership.

Too intrusive
The new app sucks even more than before. Stupid cartoons that my inbox, sent, span, trash is empty is worthless-I knew that before just by looking at the count. The purple headers are distracting and You can't get help unless you're a + member. Give me basic back
