I can’t read Japanese
Even with setting this app to English, the vast majority is in Japanese. Doesn’t work for me.
YAMAP is not navigable in English
While Yamap claims to work in English, I have spent way too many hours just trying to create an account. The process is impossible for me to navigate with my limited ability to read and write Japanese. I want to cancel my purchase before the free demo period expires but I can find no way to do that. This app is either a fraud or is an inferior product created by an incompetent developer. I do not want to pay ichi yen for it.
Where is the English version??
When I decided to download this App I was excited because the data / App description said it was in English (also Japanese). So, I download the App (from the US App Store), and found that most of the whole thing is in Japanese 🤬.
I played around with it and figured out how record a simple day hike, but it’s just to much of a chore.
The Maps of Japan are pretty good but if you don’t understand (read) Japanese you won’t be happy. Sad 😢
Is it possible that I received a Japanese version of this App by mistake??
