If I could rate a -0 I would. Every attempt to cancel the free version failed through communication channels. I am on a fixed income and was diligent in attempts to cancel transaction to no avail and was charged $85.00 for an app I can’t afford or would use. I’m left with final plea to Better Business Bureau to open a claim since I received no replies to every attempt to cancel and/or feedback. Shameful, shady business practices is this company’s modus operandi. If you’re looking for photo filtering app look elsewhere and avoid their con!

No way to cancel
I just downloaded this app and it says there’s a 7 day free trial and then you just automatically go on auto renewal for $80 which I do not want and I want to cancel. You can’t find anywhere in the app to cancel. It is totally confusing. You don’t know if you’re on auto renewal which you don’t wanna be. I turned that off but I still think I’m gonna get charged $80 for an app that I don’t want you can’t contact customer service. This is the worst app ever. Please contact me and tell me how to get rid of this.

No longer using and deleting app.

This is app is a totally scam!! they offer you the trial period and the minute you pass that trial mark they charge you the most expensive yearly Pro version instead of de monthly plan! I called and asked for a refund and to just get the monthly plan and they denied me! The stole from me $79.99 and the app is not even worth it! Scammer!!! stay away from this app!!

I’ve never used you app to the point i would pay 79.99 for the year. Im not sure how this was a thing to happen at all. You took the money from my apple wallet and all I’m asking is for my funds to be returned because i don’t use this app. This has to be a mistake and nothing has been done about it

However recent changes to the user agreement have completely changed my opinion of the app. They can now use our images in perpetuity, forever, in any manner they choose. I am not okay with that. I currently have the monthly subscription but I have cancelled it and will not use it again while those stipulations are in the contract.
They charge you for a whole year $80 after free trial
No option to get a refund! I didn’t like the app , but no way to get a refund! Apple Store doesn’t approve it because I forgot to cancel one day before the end of trial! Disgusting!!

All I wanted to do was to see my hair in a different color, there is an option to just select one of your own images to use, but it doesn’t actually allow you to do that, wants you to allow access to all your images to proceed, stupid

I believe YOUcam is a scam because they offered me a free trial and then I was charged with a one year subscription which is insane because I would never purchase a one year subscription for this app. I want this issue solved immediately.
AI doesn’t solve our problems
There’s no agent or live person here who can work with us to resolve the problems that we encounter. It’s always Al that only keeps repeating itself. For $32 per year, people except more from this app.

I used to use this frequently. However, for the past two weeks, it crashes. I’ve done everything to try to fix it. I paid for the app. I expect it to work.
Uses AI
Nothing that uses ai is good for us in the long run. Ai generation uses not just any water, but our drinking and shower water. If we don’t stop using it we will have to get water from other out of country sources.
System down on body imaging
For almost 2 weeks when I press body, it doesn’t work. I did screen record what happens when I try. Where can I upload. I don’t use this app to change my face only my body so that feature is not working Is a big deal.

Deceptive tool and charges
I wanted to modify face filters for a video. Instead of explaining how the AI Video tool worked. It charged me for enhancing the same video twice? Which wasted credits that I was forced to buy to see if the tool actually worked. It did not worked as advertised and does not allow custom filters for video edits. Seems like a waste of money.

This app was downloaded by my minor child for a single photo edit under what appeared to be a free trial. That trial automatically converted into a costly yearly subscription without clear, meaningful warning.
The pricing structure and trial-to-subscription flow create a high risk of unintentional charges, particularly for families. A yearly commitment should never be this easy to trigger without explicit confirmation and, most importantly, should not be met with unwillingness to rectify the situation.
Stronger transparency and better safeguards for child access are needed. I strongly recommend parents enable strict purchase controls before allowing this app.

I am extremely frustrated with my recent experience trying to cancel a subscription and request a refund. I purchased a YouCam subscription and realized within minutes that it did not provide the features I believed I was paying for. I attempted to cancel the subscription on the very first day, yet Apple has made it impossible for me to do so.
I submitted refund requests immediately after the purchase, but they were denied without any meaningful explanation. I have tried multiple times to get assistance, but I have not received any helpful support from Apple. Because of this, I even removed Apple from my PayPal account out of concern that I would be charged again without any chance of reimbursement, as has happened before.
It is extremely disappointing that when a product does not work as advertised-or is not what the customer intended to purchase-there is no straightforward way to receive a refund. I used the app for less than two minutes, yet I am still being charged and cannot cancel or remove the subscription.
This experience has been unnecessarily stressful, and I am asking for Apple to review this situation, allow me to cancel the subscription, and issue the refund I requested on the same day of purchase.

They advertised a free trial then proceeded to charge my card the very same day. I’m very careful with what I outright pay for so I was extremely confused on why was a charge pulled when I only opted for the free trial. I don’t even like the app. Which was the purpose of the free trial. Currently working towards disputing this transaction and reporting the business.
It’s a ripoff and not worth your money!
Not worth it and it’s not easy to use at all! It also automatically renews so make sure you cancel subscription ahead of time! I asked for a refund barely 3 minutes when it renewed on the same day and didn’t get any even though it was filed within minutes! Expensive renewal and a total waste of money!

This app uses me amazing almost all the features were free. Now none of the features that I used to use are available unless you pay for the pro version which is $70 for the year it’s like they turn this app into completely different app if I can give it zero stars, I would.
Careful with “free trial”
App wasn’t quite what I expected so I cancelled my subscription and contacted support on Day 1 to confirm I wouldn’t be charged the $80 for the annual subscription. I was told there is no way to cancel the subscription from within the app and to just cancel it from my apple app subscriptions. I followed the directions and was still charged the $89 on day 7. Then I was told I’d have to contact Apple about a refund as the app itself has no control over that and aren’t able to assist. I have never encountered this situation with a subscription service before.

I loved using this option on your app until you changed format. Before you could get realistic videos but now the templates are for young girls. Ridiculous choices with nothing realistic. And no walking and moving naturally. I will not renew any YouCam apps.
