I purchased this app and paid for a one year subscription and then went ahead and canceled the subscription so that it wouldn’t auto renew in a year. When I canceled the renewing subscription it just completely canceled my plan and I can’t figure out after a month, how to get it to work again I’m so dissatisfied and I highly don’t recommend this app! The support is also NOT helpful!

I just downloaded the app. Chose free trial. Got in the app. It sucks. Deleted the account. Still is signed up for premium which means I’ll be charged. Never emailed me so I have no one to email to cancel the account. Do not charge me. I do not authorize any charges. I will dispute it with my cc company if you charge me

Not sure what I paid for
In error purchased a yearly subscription for a large amount of money, I never pay over $70 for a photo app, but apple wouldn’t credit me because I canceled a day late after the free trial, so needless to say I have a PRO ACCOUNT and have used this app 2 or 3 times and do get a kick out of it , but im not sure where you look at the screen to make eye contact with the camera lens, and I tried to edit a video for the 1st time tonight and had to download another app , you cam video, which is not working unless I upgrade? I can’t download the short 2 minute video to edit or get anything to open and work , only the pro upgrade screen ( which I thought is what I paid for a year in advance,) nothing will load after installing the new video app.

I am extremely disappointed with YouCam Video. I signed up for the service yesterday, and almost immediately realized that the platform was not suitable for my needs. Based on the advertised seven-day cancellation policy, I expected I would be able to cancel without any issues within that time frame.
However, that was not the case. There is no clear or accessible way to contact customer service. It feels intentionally difficult to find any real support or assistance. For a company that promotes a seven-day period, they certainly do not make it easy to exercise that right.
The entire experience left me feeling misled and frustrated. In my opinion, the platform operates in a way that feels deceptive. I ended up deleting the app out of sheer frustration.
I would strongly caution others to think twice before signing up.

Would you developers consider renegotiating the subscription? It was a surprise to be charged for a year when I had intended only to subscribe for one month at a time.
Doesn’t work
App claims to upgrade low res videos, but actually made the video far worse. Had random eyes popping up in the video and glitches on the faces like crazy. Also if you need to use frequently going to be expensive you have to buy credits to do anything. Waste of money.

Did not work on low light challenges.
I even bought extra credits and it still left the video in the same low light and grainy condition. Also, I thought I signed up for a free trial period but no such luck so I seem to be stuck paying for an app that does very little.

I don’t even know because I didn’t even download this for me. I downloaded this for someone else. I clicked and turned on the seven day free trial and immediately got charged. It’s a lie don’t fall for it. It’s a freaking scam.

It's like sending your video through an AI funhouse mirror. The outcome is so lopsided and bad. Hate that I wasted money on this and could not get a refund.

I wanted to use this app for ONE of its functions only (that usually requires ‘credits’ to use). I paid for a subscription, yet EVERYTIME I open this app to use it, it STILL asks me to purchase credits… No, this is a fraud. And if it’s rather a glitch in your system, fix it QUICK.

I wanted to see what this app was like so i enabled a 7 day free trial and was still CHARGED the same day that the free trial started! This is insane and not good business etiquette

This is a scam. They charge a monthly fee, but then you have to purchase additional credits on top of the fee. I highly recommend you stay away from this site.

Can you believe the new video that was re-created was identical to the one I complained about? Nothing changed.!! How is this AI so much different than all the others that do great? You would think it would be more compatible, however, it is not. If you have black hair, dark skin, and dark brown eyes, all your videos will be created with bleach-blond hair, light eyes, and white skin!! Totally unacceptable , especially, when you know this can be fixed, but they will not budge even after several emails and complaints!

This app requires you to purchase a subscription, and if you think you can use all the features by wasting $12.99 a month for a useless product it gets even better for all those people who don’t realize they’re getting ripped off left and right by getting charged each time you want to use a feature or create a video. RIP OFF I will not recommend this to anyone!
It doesn’t work
This app doesn’t work! everything you try to do gives an error saying the photo is too large or that it can’t recognize your face. If you try to use face swap, it says the image is inappropriate whether it’s with models, your sister, your father, or anyone else. It just doesn’t work.

I didn’t even sign up for the trial and got charged for a premium account!!! Additionally, even if I did sign up for it by mistake I immediately canceled the trial!!! I have a screen shot in my phone and let’s not forget they charged me $54.11 for the annual and it advertises $20.99 for an annual premium subscription!!! So I begin looking at the interface and options they offer and the only ones that I’m actually interested in like portrait enhancement isn’t even offered!!! They say it is but where is is located? lol and the ai enhancements they do offer look super fake and artificial and I understand ai stands for artificial and the very definition of however there are many apps such as face tune that do an incredible job with portraits! If I could give ZERO stars I would I’ve already contacted developer with screenshots and hoping they do the right thing but I doubt it bc Apple won’t even though it shows as cancelled prior to trial end date that I have no recollection even signing up for nor a single email from these people as most apps do some sort of email confirmation/,verification … Apple is really disappointing these days thinking of going back to android for real

Wouldn’t cancel
I ended up having Yocam video, not even knowing that I had it, and paying for it for a year or so when I thought it was canceled.

AI feature did not generate what I asked with no customer support service
I can’t reach customer support for a refund or to fix my photo to video problem. The person in the video is not me after I already paid for credits but can’t contact customer support to corrected the problem delete the video and redo the video correctly or provide a refund. You just stuck with whatever mess they created.

Signed up for the free trial, and as soon as I did, they charged my card $30!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE. Do not recommend AT ALL.

Not worth it.
The updates aren’t updates they haven’t upgraded the features. They just make them inaccessible after a period of time unless you “upgrade” and pay them more money. It’s a scam.
